The latch on the 8x12 foot trailer was bent and didn’t work well. A regular thorough check of equipment will help. The cashier was very good!

One guy who works, their most often is great. However, he is usually there alone and the wait times are forever. If I had another rental company closer, I would not go here because of the wait times.
Brian VYou are not asking the right questions. My reservation was for Mountain View and made weeks in advance. 7am the morning of reservation it was changed to Santa Clara. I called to confirm. Then I arrived at Santa Clara, they did not have a trailer for me . My reservation was shifted to a 3rd place at an inconvenient location. At Current, I was told they could have given me a trailer in Mountain View. Awful experience
Barrie LIt was very easy to drop off trailer but had no idea/paper work to show if I had drop it off. A little disconcerning.

JOSEPH SI have used your location many times for large trucks but I have never rented a trailer. The check-in by Daniel was exceptional. He handled all the paperwork efficiently and was friendly while doing so. In addition, he attached the trailer to my SUV and answered all of my questions. I would have rated this location as "Excellent," had the check out been better. The check-out by James G? could be improved. I returned the trailer around 10am and no customers were returning their equipment at that time. I parked further back in the return area since a forklift was doing work in the front bay. But when no one came to check me out, I moved forward and was yelled at by James. He then told me to drive around to the back. He did not come to my window or tell me what he was doing. He just undid the trailer and walked off. I asked him if I needed to check out and he stated over his shoulder that he would take care of it. I could barely hear him so I asked him again and then he screamed the same information over his shoulder. I ended up getting out of my vehicle to take a picture of the removed trailer and the back of my car since I didn't feel like the check out was complete. I specifically chose 10am this morning to return the trailer so that I would not have to use the after hours APP. I also chose the time so it would be a less busy time for your location. So I left your location feeling like I could have received better customer service.

JASON LAt first when I walked in it seemed everyone was busy and gave me no acknowledgment that I was in cue for service. A gentleman walked out and returned 10 minutes later calling my name. He was quick to disconnect the trailer and became helpful. Prior to that I was puzzled on why there was anything such as” we’ll be with in a moment “. That would have been great! In then end it came together.
Richard MU-haul should accept the electronic California Drivers License issued by the DMV. If airports can accept this, U-Haul should accept this as well.

MILES OThere were 9 people in the lobby waiting for over 15 minutes without anybody working the desk. The guy installing hitches didn't want to help"I don't work the desk. Go look for the manager outside" was his response. I asked what the managers name was and I went into the yard hollering his name "Daniel". He acknowledged me but still took 5 minutes or so to come help. Everyone was not happy. Daniel said this is common at this location and told me to use the self check in when I returned if I didn't like waiting. I thought this entire experience was poor and I will not be renting from uhaul on curtner again.

Janardan GI have been using Uhaul for my statewide move, including refurbishing my house. Most of my experience has been very positive. The only negative is the lack of shock absorbers. Some of my things have been damaged because of the bouncing rough ride. Even if they were protected.

DOUGLAS WI reserved the rental in Morgan Hill, received a call stating I would have to pick up truck in Gilroy, then received another call the evening of, to pick up the truck at a different Gilroy location 1 hour later than what I scheduled. I had already had movers scheduled to come at my original scheduled time. Was then directed by U-Haul to a San Jose location. The inside of the truck wasn’t cleaned. So we spent time sweeping it. One of the employees who called advised me that I would receive a credit to my account for the inconvenience in retreating the truck. I hope you honor that commitment. On the positive side, the drop off went well.

Joseph RI rented a pickup truck but had to wait for 20 minutes as NO one is on the counter to attend to multiple customers waiting in line. After 20 minutes, another employee came and instructed us to knock at the other door to WAKE UP an employee who is asleep!
ELIZABETH MArrived at location for 2pm online reservation. 3/4 team members took lunch at the same time, leaving one person to handle the store while there was a line almost out the door. Waited 45 minutes to be told they don’t have my truck . Manager accommodates by giving me larger truck for same price. Location needs to manage lunch breaks better

MARIE RMobile check-in crashed frequently and took 45 minutes to check in, with a line an hour long to talk to staff. Uhaul truck was left 20 miles to the gallon when it was supposed to be 1/4 tank. When trying to ask staff what I should do, they ignored me and pretended not to hear until I followed them into the office. Told me I’d have to get in line and wait if I wanted help.
Zachary TI got to this location with enough time before my reservation at 8am. I didn’t leave this location until 9am. To top it off they didn’t give me the key for lock and I had to drive 20 miles there and back home to get the key and waste my time. The first customer representative that helped me didn’t even want to add the extra mileage I had to waste to back because of their mistake. Luckily, someone else stepped in to assist but I had to continue wasting my time. When it came to returning the truck, my receipt said to return it in Greenfield and when I tried doing the process on the app the return location was in Soledad. That’s 10 miles more and more time wasted. This entire process was a huge inconvenience for the price that I paid and wasted so much of my time that I needed to move. I will not be using u-haul services again.
