RONALD SIt had snowed the night before and the truck was covered in snow and ice. I had to clear it myself. Also a mysterious charge showed up on my Credit card and I do not know what it was for. I never received an updated bill for it.
SHEA SVery good experience, except a few small things. The battery died inside of the 10' box truck that I rented. I went to the landfill to dump some trash out of the UHAUL box truck. I was at the landfill entrance very early on Monday (4:00 or 5:00 in the morning maybe). I parked the UHAUL box truck for about 45 minutes to an hour. I put the rear tail lights on. When I tried to start the engine, the battery was dead. UHAUL sent roadside assistance, and roadside assistance replaced the battery. After that, the box truck was fine. The temperature and weather were not the problem for the battery, because I had no difficulty at all starting the engine first thing in the morning, even though it was very cold outside. UHAUL replaced the battery in the truck, but it seems like the battery was fine when the journey began, so maybe the alternator was broken? I don't know. Also, the wood floors of the box truck are showing through the paint. UHAUL uses floor paint that peels off easily. I recommend painting the wood floors of the box truck with durable two-part epoxy. I had an outdoor front porch once-upon-a-time, painted with two-part epoxy and sand. The two-part epoxy resin did not peel off easily. The sand sprinkled on top of the epoxy made it non-slip when wet, and then it was painted again to seal in the sand after all loose sand was swept off. I think that people would benefit from more durable floor paint on the wood floors of the UHAUL box trucks. Additionally, the parking brake release handle is attached to a very flimsy metal bracket. The parking brake release handle bracket almost bent when I tried to release the parking brake. The parking brake bracket should be replaced with one that's almost the same size, but made out of thick steel or any sort of hard metal alloy really (aluminum would be fine) at least 1/8 inch thick. Something that does not bend when you push or pull on it would be good for the parking brake release bracket.

AKALE GThe driver door was having trouble closing the light kept popping on saying the door was open on the dash the guy needs to make sure he knows where the truck is but he's talking about the truck was out of service and I walked out there for nothing and had to walk back in I have back problems so you know that wasn't good for me it wore me out

ALLISON GWhen asked for m I leave i gave one way mileage and it cost me more. Try to explain the 13 miles was one way and the attendant still charged me per mile over the 13. Not cool!
BRIAN CMade first reservation on line up to and including giving credit card before the website crashed. Called customer service to put in reservation. Incorrectly put in both my email and phone # so got no verification of reservation. Had to change pickup time from 10am to 11:30 for the next day through customer service. Got a call from location that asked why was not there at 10am to pick up van. I told them I changed pickup time and they started arguing with me about the pickup time. I offered to send them the email confirmation of the change (got the email corrected on 2nd call to customer service) and they said they didn’t need it. Went to pick up van and they could not find the reservation for 10 minutes. And finally found it. Incorrect email address on reservation. Got the van which on the reservation had an appliance dolly. When I transferred my stuff to the van the manager came out and said they didn’t have an appliance dolly but offered to give me a basic dolly and adjust bill. Took that because that was the only one. Moved the stuff and returned the van. On check in they said I exceeded the mileage. It was 138 miles and the reservation said it was for 160 miles. They insisted the reservation was for 100 miles despite me showing them the reservation with 160 miles. Can not think of anything that was done correctly and would not recommend this location to anyone. U-haul will be my LAST choice if I need a vehicle to move. I would give them a -10 but that was not an option.
MICHAEL ZThe customer service was terrible. The young man who helped my fiancé and I, was very unprofessional and unknowledgeable. He had to restart the application multiple times because he wasn’t listening to what I had been telling him. Instead he was on FaceTime with his girlfriend, which was irritating because I had to repeat myself multiple times on what I was wanting. To top it off, I paid for a dolly, that I never received, even after asking about it before I left. Terrible experience. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
