Horrible experience from the get go. Incorrectly informed on pricing. Charges for rental furniture pads and didn't get. They chose the wrong drop off location clear across town. Had to call customer service number. They transferred me, then again, then again, then left message. Then at end got a final receipt for a cleaninb fee of $50. What? I changed the entire cab out and swept the truck out. Luckily that lady at drop off location (not the one I asked on my reservation) she kindly credited me back the $50, or says she is, fingers crossed. Just crazy to deal with all this and still spend almost $1000 for one way 520 miles.

TESSA CI was about 20-25 minutes late. While I don't exactly know the "grace period" (figure it's possibly an hour). The receipt says I was charged an extra day, and extra insurance. The location was backed up anyway, so they couldn't have checked me in until the specified 3pm time. What do you think? Mark

Christopher KIt was great experience, as we all know moving is not fun but they make it much easier for me. U haul is my go to company for moving and have never nor would I ever use any other company. I have always been treated with respect and this goes for whether renting or returning.
Judy GTuesday May 6th I parked my rental on site at this U-Haul location, which was very difficult to navigate because it was full of other return vehicles obstructing the entrance. At one point, I was obstructing the road as I waited to pull in. After getting honked at multiple times for blocking the road, I managed to pull in with the help of another customer who was also waiting to be helped. The two employees I interacted with told me to drive around the U-Haul establishment into the back alleyway, back up the trailer in reverse, and jump the curb. This was a challenging and stressful task, but I did it nonetheless. The employees should have removed the rental upon arrival and not have me go through this nightmare. At one point, I told the male employee that this was a nightmare and that I should have left it upon arrival at the lot. The employee responded, "Well then, you would be abandoning your rental".

HALL FLock the equipment so homeless people can’t use it as a shelter and drug den. The employees responded to my concerns quickly and made things right. The problem is that I never should have found the problem in the first place.

William BTrailer connector to truck wa a four wire and almost all trucks are seven wire. So I had to spend 15.00 dollars to by an adapter.

I was there to rent a trailer and the first one they couldn’t get the lights to work at all so they switched to another trailer, but it had a flat tire so they finally found a replacement tire this whole process took about an hour and 45 minutes. Very poor service.

MICHAEL CCustomer service was great & they even helpped us put stuff in the trailer from our truck bed & tarp and cover it. The only issue I had is one of the employees took the rope I have bought from U-Haul and walked away with it. I did not realize it until I was halfway to were I was going. When I took the trailer back they did replace the rope.

We were contacted by you to ask us if we would drive a larger truck to our destination and were supposed to get a $50.00 discount for making this change for you. We were not given a discount and were told there was nothing they could do on the check-out end.

KURT WThe sun visor on the driver's side was missing when the van was given to me. They charged me for the missing sun visor, and I didn't even have one available to me. The manager was supposed to call and explain what had happened, and never did. I would recommend being very clear and detailed when talking to customers about any issues. That's what this location can work on. I'm very disappointed in the service provided, Uhaul was my rental place to go, and now i will have to go to penske or enterprise.

NATHEN RFirst I was supposed to pick up my U-Haul at a different location. The lady was nice and welcoming. She told me that my pick up has be changed it a different location. When I got there tit was chaos. I walked into the store not greater. There were 5 people in line at the time with two tellers. Once one teller was finished they walked out side and didn’t come back. The second teller was talking his time talking with thr Clients not evening thinking about the line he had. When he was done with the client he left for an extended period of time caring about all that was going on out side. So there was not one teller in the store. Finally a girl showed up to help the next person. We were in the store alone for 10 minutes at least. Finnaly the first teller came back in and helped me. I told him about the change of location issue and he basically blew it off and in not so many words said it was my fault. During him checking me out he began to talk with the girl teller about breaks and who’s working and all the over time he has has to work. We finished he took me to get my U-Haul and as we were walking around it he didn’t seem to care about anything I was pointing out about the vehicle. Took me over 45 minutes to get my rental from there. Will never rent for this location again and probably not U-Haul ever again. I know you guys won’t care and will just round file this but customer service is out the window.

KENNETH KIt was a little tight to bring the 15 foot truck and car dolly into the lot because it's clearly a very busy location and there just wasn't much space to move. But everyone there was extremely helpful even though they were extremely busy when we were there.
SARAH GA number of customers waited more than a half out in line to pick up. Then, multiple customers who had departed with their trucks already called to say their trucks had no fuel. The workers told them to get gas and they’d receive a credit for the purchased fuel. Then the workers mocked the customers who had left (I think Charles and remark?). I checked out with fuel between 2/4 and 1/2, and returned with the same amount. Yet, I was still charged $13 for fuel. Bullshit.
LOWELL AI got charge for 6 gallons fuel because they did a mistake in reviewing the fuel level. I drove the car 14 miles how can I get charge for 6 gallons?
KHALID ALong wait in line (20 minutes) even though I did the online checkin. Equipment had a tail light out so additional waiting while it was fixed..

JEANETTE DFront desk person was professional and pleasant. Charlie provided excellent customer server both getting trailer attached to my vehicle and then moving it to the correct location on the lot upon the return. He too was professional and a pleasure to work with
JEFFREY EI recently rented a one way rental from U-Haul. During the review of the contract process we went over when and where the vehicle was to be returned. I selected a location that would allow me to return it and not be too inconvenienced. The vehicle was clean and performed above my expectations as I’ve rented them before in the past for the many military moves I’ve experienced. I was given three days to return the vehicle. I only needed it for one day so I planned to have the vehicle fueled and cleaned and returned a day early in a very specific period of time when I had a ride to pick me up. Once I arrived at my location I was told that my return location was changed from the contractual and agreed upon location. While it seemed insignificant to the U-Haul representative on the phone who insisted that it was only a few miles away, it was a huge inconvenience to me as I would be stuck in traffic and unable to complete other tasks that were time sensitive. I explained that to the representative and was told that I would be charged an exorbitant amount if I insisted on returning it to the agreed upon original location. I asked why and he stated that someone was scheduled to rent it directly after me and I reminded him that not only was this the contractually agreed upon return location on my paperwork but that I was returning it a day early so there would be enough time to do any logistical requirements they required and that it wasn’t my responsibility to ensure their business ran smoothly. This infuriating exchange between me and the customer service representative has resulted in my never utilizing this company nor recommending it anyone I know. When the customer is not the priority it shows. This company has gotten too big to remember that the individual rental experience is why they are here in the first place. Both parties should interact in good faith and strive to remain that way.
MICHAEL BI received the uhaul on empty and the light was on my mother Sonya Hobdy did not tell me that it was ok E. When I went to use the truck the gas light was on and she only drove uhaul on oddie to boulder creek apartments.

Michael PHave new employees be shadowed by experienced staff more closely. New staff that doesn't know the ins-and-outs of hooking up trailers can pose a safety hazard.
