We left the location without the trailer lights working. We had to have road side assistance come to our home to fix. Turns out it was just a loose connection.
TERRY DOnly needed the trailer for a one way trip only used equipment for 12 hours but was charged for 2 days? WTH???
BETTY BThe trailer we rented had a bunch of dirt and mulch in it. We had to clean it before we could use it which seems odd since when we checked it back in, we had to take pictures inside and out of it. You would have thought the last user would have had to clean it out or at the very least one of the people behind the desk would have. I didn't think to inspect the inside before I drove it off the lot. Also, the app is not the greatest. Took a couple of tries to go through the check in process and even then, it showed that we were going to be charged double what we expected even though we were returning it over an hour early for a 24hr rental. I assume this is standard operating procedure since there was also a place to dispute this right in the check in process. Ultimately, we didn't get charged extra, but ugg what an ordeal. One last note on the trailer itself, the safety chains were very hard to put on and take off of our car's hitch.

Donald GI was extremely disappointed with the manager’s attitude during my recent visit. When I arrived, I acknowledged that I was a few minutes late for my appointment. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager was immediately rude and dismissive. Without checking the system or offering any assistance, she told me my appointment was canceled. Her tone was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. Fortunately, another employee stepped in and kindly took the time to look up my reservation. It turned out that my appointment was still active, and there was no issue. I appreciate the helpfulness of that staff member, but the manager’s behavior was completely unacceptable and left a negative impression. It’s unfortunate that someone in a leadership role would treat customers so poorly. I hope the business addresses this, as no one should be treated that way.

TRACY MMy install was a little above normal. Install was quoted but the actual time to install was less. I was only charged for the actual time spent to install. You never get a credit, but it was gladly given. Great customer service, pleasant staff.

ROBERT MWhen I picked up the truck there was no dolly like I ordered. They said we only have an appliance dolly which I was charged for and did not use. The person checking the truck back in (Patrick was wonderful) said it is in perfect shape. They confiscated my original paperwork when I returned the truck and said I would receive a email with a receipt in it. When I received the email receipt, there was a charge of $120. When I called the front desk, the person was very argumentative with me and he hung up on me. I went into the office the next day and explain to them about the $120 charge. And the seven dollar charge for the Dolly. I was told that the Dolly charge would be refunded in 7 to 10 days. The person at the desk gave me a refund of $120 which stated on the receipt it was for missing and damage charge. when I checked further I saw I have been charged $128.40. I went back to the store and they refunded me the $8.40 which was for the tax on the $120 I still have not received my seven dollars back for the dolly I did not use . I felt I was mistreated and they were dishonest in the office and rude. Patrick was wonderful. The other staff was incompetent. If I had not thoroughly checked my records, I would’ve been overcharged for $128.40. This is unacceptable and I am very disappointed with U-Haul services … sincerely Ruth Maddox. RICHARD AIs it now a requirement to have additional insurance on trailer rental. I chose no insurance but when it came to pay the associate ask what insurance I wanted because it was new policy even though I chose none at the beginning
TIMOTHY ORep didn’t know how to enter info in system. He called me slick twice. Keep asking me same info, he doesn’t listen to customer. Had me buy insurance and have never bought insurance?
JOHN HI was surprised when I was told when I went to the origional location to pick up the trailer that it was not available there .I had to drive 15 miles to the Seminole location to pick up the trailer.The people at that location were very nice.

MARIO MI feel your company is being disingenuous when selling insurance coverage for trailers. The policy you are selling customers are excess policys. Meaning this coverage will just cover the damages after your threshold on auto policy is maxed. Do better !

Guy MWasn't informed during rental process that after hours return have a special procedure to do online at location .......had a hard time getting online at site and a police officer came and told us to finish up and move along......tried to connect to return service online and couldn't......the police officer said times up move along.....so we had to leave truck without going through the proper return... ..a heads up on after hours return protocol would be wonderful

ROBBIN HWindshield was cracked, tire pressure was all off and warning light was on, breaks were bad. Van was knowingly unsafe to drive and was still rented out.
JAMI RManager very rude.. They don't have any idea of what's going on. You walk in there to reserve a truck and you are told by the manager that they cannot guarantee anything. I personally ask her so all those trucks out. There are taken for this Thursday. And she replied went straight home, which is 10 minutes away.Got online and reserved the truck.It was told to me that she does not like put all this customers.

Jacqueline JTruck was not assigned at a different location the day before, I booked for 24 hours no one onsite. Customer service offered me a truck 14 miles away for less time. I declined( lost the $50 truck guarantee stipend).Set new reservation the next morning here best available anywhere at the time was 8 hours. Took uber to location the next morning and truck was not assigned again. Customer service offered me something different here and said don’t worry about bringing it back on time. Lost almost another hour. Sounded like the wheels were going to fall off the truck(rear)(brakes?) Took me an extra 2 hours. I didn’t fuel it up only needed 8 gallons. I was charged for 2 days service because I went 3hours over time. I miraculously turned a 24 hour move and crammed it into 10. This would never have happened if I had the truck the day before like I originally reserved. Young lady on this Seminole lot at 6am told me I had to wait until she opened at 7am before she would look into my unassigned issue customer service on phone did what they could both days but man this system is broken. I didn’t fuel the truck I get it and I’ll take the fees. We are all just numbers and dollar amounts, time slots and damage pictures. I don’t recommend Uhaul I’ve used them many times but this by far was the worst experience ever

Stephen COlder African gentleman was excellent!! He was professional, knowledgeable, and a great sense of humor. He got me a trailer hitch ball for only $30 as I didn’t have one. He stalled the hook up for me and waved to me as leaving. He is a great asset to Uhaul. He made my rental experience the best ever and I’ll for sure return the next time needed. Thank you again!

Gil AI had a terrible experience from an associate who was rude and had the worst attitude and for no reason and when I parked on the lane to park the trailer the associate was impolite and yelled telling me and not asking to park beside the other trailer and the associate had to either be ignorantly or completely dumb to realize I was not in a good position to back up the trailer into the spot next to the other trailer so instead I had to pull out of the lane, move up and back into the parking spot and was easy to move back to in reverse. Once parked the dumb associate yelled again and demanded “I want you to park here” so my response was “I parking here” and he said “No! I need you to park here.” And at that moment, I didn’t have time for his foolishness and responded “I don’t have time for this.” so I got out of my truck and went ahead to do the associates job by lifting up the trailer coupler off the hitch of my truck, and I placed the coupler down. Soon as I started driving away, I noticed the associate went to get a female associate, which I assume may have been the manager and I don’t know why he did that but he did not do his job instead I had to do his job so as soon as I drove off, the trailer started rolling a few feet ahead. The male associate is described as bald, black and maybe in his late 30’s early 40’s and as soon as he and the female U-Haul associate saw the trailer roll he yelled “What the fuck!!?” And then I paused when I was driving, looked behind the river mirror. Noticed the trailer was moving and then once the trailer stopped after it moved 5 to 6 feet I just drove away. I did not need to be around, but I should have at the moment when the associate had told me to back into the part but my first initiation should’ve been to go inside the store and inform the manager and complain what the associate was advised me, which was incorrect. I know that U-Haul has a policy that customers are not to do any work or effort removing the trailer that it’s the associates job. I will never ever go to this U-Haul or recommend it to anyone. I have been using U-Haul consistently every month for my business and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. I don’t even even think that it deserves a star rating.
RAUL AUh…they didn’t have enough folks nor folks who were totally physically able to help move trailers. I was able to help but it didn’t inspire confidence. They also didn’t attach the chains correctly/give me all the chain fasteners or tell me I needed to put weight in the trailer to safely operate it. I had to pull over a block away and fix it.
