The return process was quick and very easy. Everything was straightforward, and I was able to drop off the vehicle without any issues. Overall, a smooth and hassle-free experience.
JUAN RPlease keep in mind, this overall experience was not good. The location I was first told to pick up a truck from - had no trucks at all, and offered no help at all. So, I called the number provided, and they searched for another location that supposedly had the truck size I had requested. They did not have the truck size I requested. So, installed of running to another location I rented the only truck they had which was smaller than I needed. But, the staff at this location is fantastic. I listened to the one lady work with people on the phone, and she was amazing. The lady that helped me was very understanding and apologetic and very nice.

PATRICIA VI was overcharge for the Truck I replaced the gas I was late bringing it back an hour but was charge seventy four dollars but when I went to rent another truck I was told I owed another One Hundred Sixty Three more dollars. The price is not adding up for Seven Hours. Now the is not one thing I can do U-Haul only agree with its Employee's.
AARON Ei rented a truck and car trailer. the reservation was confirmed, but the next morning I was told the car trailer was not available at the same location and that I would have to get it a different location. I picked up both, but it was dark and did not notice the issue for car trailer until the next day. The car trailer had defective wheel harnesses. One was jammed and the other the strap was cut and only 4 inches in length. Not long enough to secure, I had to use my own straps.

ANDREW SCostumer service sucked 😒 very rude. Took for ever. The guy who tried to hook up the trailer to my truck had absolutely no idea what he was doing! He couldn't figure out how to put it on the hitch then he said my two inch trailer hitch ball was a 3 inch ball and that's why it wasn't going on lol.. pretty sure he had known clue what he was doing really not even worth 2 stars to be honest.

VEDASTE NWhen I picked up the 15 foot truck it smelt like cigarette smoke, but it was the only one left. Maybe put bigger signs inside the cab that says no smoking or at least roll your window down when you are smoking.

MARK SI was originally assigned a different drop off location which refused delivery and told me to proceed to this one. When I arrived here they initially informed me there would be a surcharge because of the changed location. I explained the situation and told them I wasn’t going to pay any additional charge due to the circumstances and they agreed to forgo it..

RAYDEL NCarlos and his partner were amazing. they showed up upon time and were very professional. They walk treated my furniture as if it were their own. I had no damage. The price was very reasonable. It was actually the cheapest price on the website, but the service was probably better than what you would get if you paid the most expensive I would highly recommend them.

NANCY SReserved a trailer and a hand truck in advanced. Upon arrival they hooked up the trailer but didnt have a hand truck for me and i asked if they instead had an appliance dolly, nope they didnt have that either. Then they asked me if i wanted to come back for it another day, what kind of question is that?? Im here to get a trailer to load and move to another state. I Had to go to home depot to purchase one for the move.
MATTHEW FMy original location, where the reservation was made, called the morning of the reservation, and said they did not have the truck. They sent me to another location that had a truck, but the person there said he didn't know anything about U-Haul and couldn't give me a truck. I called U-haul again and was put on hold for 10 minutes, only to be answered by someone in Alabama. They gave me the address of the same location I was currently at. I again called U-Haul and was put on hold again for 10 minutes, only to be answered by someone in Orlando who knew nothing about Jacksonville, so I had to give them several locations to check for the size truck I needed. We finally found a location that had the size truck. That location took 15 minutes to get the truck because the person there was having a conversation with another customer about their job's and how much they were getting paid. What should have taken 15 minutes to get the truck I ordered became a 1-1/2 hour ordeal.

OLIVIA AYou would think that in 2025 technology would allow for a touch less rental experience. Especially for a seasoned returning customer. No. After setting up the rental online, I arrived at the location where I again had to re-enter my information on a screen in the parking lot. Take a mug shot, take a picture and scan of my drivers licenses and then select another method to be “verified”. Some of the options are a passport, utilities bill or provide a telephone number for a contact so that their agent can call them to confirm who you are. All this while standing in the parking lot. Finally I got the approval and the screen instructed me to go inside to see a clerk for the keys. Returning the truck is no better. 6 pictures, inside the box, around the cab the instrument panel, the parking space number. This is a joke right? I make $60 per hour, by my calculations U Haul owes me money.
Abdul MGot redirected to this location after I arrived at the first location only to learn it was closed due to a recent fire. Location was easy to find, and staff was very helpful in receiving and processing my return. Received my receipt via email in minutes after dropoff. Overall return process was stress-free, which is nice after a long cross-country move!
LUKE PA bit of a rushed service. Several customers were waiting. Front bumper of truck was dinged and grill was broken but this was not noted on the vehicle records. Took a long time to get it documented thru the costumer service line. Overall not too bad!
OKAN NWhen I called they had me on hold to long instead of just telling me I could rent online. I had to ask them after the second hold.
ERICKA WMileage charges were really high and I didn't understand how a $29 1 day rental was $100 for Mileage around town ?

ESTEBAN FI competed the verification on the mobile app and arrived at the location at 5:50pm. The keys were not in the lockbox so I went inside. I was third in line and it took over 40 minutes for the cashier to get my keys. Cashier kept small-talking with customers about personal life. I also ordered the dolly and I didn't receive it.

JEFFREY HTrain, monitor, assist, and review new employees: Apral was not well knowledgeable in attaching the transporter to the rental truck. What should’ve been less time, took twice as long. She thought customers should squeeze out through a tight opening to exit vehicle after I was in my Lexus. Then to after gad to clump through back seat again to drive off transporter for her to set tire belts correctly. Very stressful and confusing. Later and finally was assisted by another employee: who said I did not pay for assistance (not true because GM Lea was to add $20).

ANGELITA VWas told we would be reimbursed for gas by one employee and so we filled the tank to half instead of the quarter tank and then we drop off and was told that reimbursement is only for mileage. Keeping your staff informed should be priority!
JOLIENA BMoving is already a heavy load and not to have your truck at the time of my convenience is a nightmare will never use u haul or suggest U-Haul to anybody I know.
