The first location i was suppose to pick up from...the customer before me needed more time. This location did not have what I reserved, but a location within 2 miles did. They accomodated me needs plus (a bigger truck-same price). Very happy every customer was taken care of. 5 STARS

KATRINA CEquipment not available even though reserved. LONG wait times to pick up equipment/vehicles. Two different lines would be beneficial, one line for reservations and one line for walk in.
ROBERT WWe made a reservation for a truck AND a dolly this past Saturday to move our daughter into a new apartment. When we arrived at our 10am scheduled reservation, we were informed there were no more hand trucks available. I was told even though I had reserved one, it was first come, first served. What’s the point of making a reservation if it’s not actually reserved? We needed a dolly for our move. This was a major issue for our move and a very poor reflection of your business protocol. The truck was in good condition but the awful inconvenience of not having a dolly will ensure we never use this location again.

DAVID HI declined SafeTow coverage both when I reserved online and at the location, but was still charged for it. I called in, and the call center staff were not able to remove it. They stated I had not responded to a text to decline coverage but would start a claim. They gave me the number for a Manager that was in the next day, but when I called the next day there was no Manager on duty. When I dropped it off the Manager on duty started a claim but was not able to remove the charges or issue a refund immediately. I told her when the charges arrived on my card I would decline until the erroneously charged SafeTow charges were refunded. This on the face of it appears to be either an incompetent staff coupled with lack of authority for call center problems to rectify a problem quickly or a scam to sell insurance.

EDWIN CWhen I went to pick up the trailer, they did not have it, and I had seen somewhere in the reservation process that it was guaranteed they would have it or I would be credited. I had to get the smaller trailer to avoid having to drive to another location.

CHARLES BLong wait to pick up. Was charged for extra day even though my truck was returned on time. I was told to just leave the keys with attendant because there was a truck in front of ours then my truck was “returned” nearly 30 minutes after I left it. Online customer service was no help.
BRITTNEY BPickup was a LONG wait time due to only one register with a line. Drop off was excellent though, very easy.
Isaiah SWe were called up to the counter and the associate decided to finish her text in stead of waiting on us AFTER we had been in line for over 20 minutes. The van we rented smelled like body odor and pig manure. It was completely disgusting.
BARRY HI used my debit card for the $100 deposit. I turned the truck back to it's location on time. I had to go to the location to ask for the receipt and have my reimbursement of $48 to be taken off of hold after waiting one hour and twenty minutes for someone to answer the phone. I never understood why my reimbursement was placed on hold. I'm still waiting 12 days later for my money.
SARAH FThere was only one lady at the front helping customers. The line was getting long and she was taking phone calls as well. My wait in line was 10-15 minutes over my truck pick up time which I was not too happy about but was considerate because she was working alone. I highly suggest to hire more people to help, especially on the weekends.

JAY TWe took the time to pay and sign up online for faster pick up. It took 45 minutes to get the truck, which we almost lost because it wasn't checked in and they almost gave it to someone else. Also the price is misleading....how does 30 bucks turn into 130? I'm paying $1 per mile driven and having to fill up the truck with gas? Seems like highway robbery. Would definitely not recommend uhaul down here in FL to anyone.
WILLIAM SMade a reservation on Monday for Saturday for a truck and auto transport, arrived at the location waited in a long line, this location on had one person at the counter working 3 computers. When it was my turn there was no truck for me to rent and I was told no trailer despite one in the lot that apparently was not checked in, I was told I would have to drive further out to rent a truck from another location, drive back to this location and rent the trailer and when I was done I would have to do the same and return at 2 different locations, they were unable to compensate me for their mistakes and I am the one who had to pay more in mileage and gas this was very inconvenient to me and I lost one of the people who were helping me move that day, I’m a disabled veteran recovering from back surgery and this was the only day I had help.

AARON VAbsolutely terrible equipment quality. The trailer I was given was the most beat up trailer I have ever used in my entire life. Took me 7 hours to get from Jacksonville, FL to McDonough, GA to pickup my new motorcycle. On my way up, I called U-Haul and spent more than an hour on the phone trying to swap this trailer with a good one at a location on my way to the destination. Spoke with several people, including managers at different locations. No one wanted to help stating that they cannot swap an in-town motorcycle trailer for me to return it to a different location. U-Haul employees do not care about the equipment, do not service it and they keep renting these death traps to people. I will file a complaint with Better Business Bureau for everyone to be aware. I am not doing this because I expect something in return. I just want to ensure that the safety of the customers is put above the financial interests. Will never rent any type of equipment from U-Haul ever again.

CURTIS BI was overcharged for gas and mileage even after filling out the form correctly with the accurate information upon check in. We waited 15 minutes for someone to give us keys. Luckily I took additional pictures in the off chance that we would be taken advantage of. We will not use this location for rentals again.
Shannon OI had a hard time getting my rental checked in at the office after I dropped it off. My rental was due at 7 pm however I returned it at 2 45 pm same day and it showed active on the app as if I had not returned it. I went back to the office only to be told by the same cleck that recieved the equipment that he did nothing with it. Thats why it was never checked in. I would think that better trained and responsible people should be in charge. He did say he was new but I would think that better training is definitely needed.

VICTOR AThe truck issued was clean but the battery went dead during pre trip. Ten minutes with the hazard lights on and the engine wouldn't turn over. The battery needs to be replaced. Maintenance preferred to jump instead of switch out truck. Not good for business. I just let the truck run intermittently during my move. Truck did not require jump during my move but engine light came on. Replace the battery.

STEVEN Mthe wheels were severely out of balance. the rachets were very difficult to tighten straps on tires. Even more difficult to release straps. The layout for this location was strange. It maybe limited because of surrounding real state. I have used this store before, but over twenty years ago. I will try hard not to use it again.
TERRY KI have been told by the staff that after return equipment company would prorate my price come to find out that there was wrong information and there is nothing they can do about not cool towards to me. Educate their sales people before they gave up wrong information to the customers before your rent check with the corporate info you get it correct you end up paying more than it’s worth

JESSE WDon’t give someone a vehicle with a random amount of gas. It’s impossible to get it back to the same amount. If you give it full, it’s easy to return full. You charge people if they don’t return it full, so fill it up. It’s especially difficult if it gets around 1/4 tank. One guy was super nice. One guy was snarky and trying to tell me how to read a gas gauge.

This is the second time I've had a reservation and the process is terrible.The clerk literally rented my equipment right in front of me. I had a reservation and luckily before the person left I heard her renting it. He was directly in front of me and when I got up there she said they don't have one. Since she had rented it and I told her you just rendered my piece of equipment to him.He did not have a reservation.She had to go and take it back. Ridiculous hassle! Moving is trustful enough.
BRETT JMake sure to check out vehicles before renting them. I mean drive the vehicle yourself. And see if that's anything you would put your family in. Transmission shot! Did not change gears until it got up to 3 RPM. Not fare to rent out junk and have me afraid the whole time. I'm a single mother and you truck made it very challenging..
