GARY AThe trailer was missing one of the pins that secures the door open when unloading/loading. With the winds in Missouri on Friday 5/16/25, the door violently swinging uncontrollably caused damage to cargo, hit the ones unloading in the back, and flung violently out into traffic passing by on the one way street.
TYE JThis is the second time using this location and the lady that that helped me was excellent.
TIMOTHY HThe truck itself was great, but 2 features were not so much. The giant display screen on thr dash was VERY distracting at night. Further, no explanation or training on the operation of the truck (the headlight DIAL(?) I drove St Louis to Indianapolis at night not knowing the TAIL LIGHTS WERE NOT ON, because they were the 5th position on the dial, not the first, which operated headlights ONLY, the cop that pulled me over in Indianapolis helped figure that out. And the giant movie screen on the dash would have been more palatable if I knew how to darken it, AND use the features on the steering wheel. Lastly, the drop off was a custom auto parts shop, which bore NO Uhaul markings or signs and the address is in 2 inch letters on the door , not visible from the road. We drove by it 6 times before figuring it out. Nobody checked the truck for damage, or at all.

Irene SAfter driving to the St Louis area with the trailer upon arrival the new lock purchased from UHaul could not be opened with the key. Called and spoke with Dominic the next morning and was helpful and stated I would need to bring it in for the team to look at it.After review he had to cut the lock off for issue could not be resolved. The team was very professional in correcting the solution. They replaced the faulty lock and extended my rental one day so I could get the trailer unloaded. Great customer service!! I would recommend this location and team for future rentals or returns. Special thanks to Carlos, Dominic, and Chelsea there at the Ballwin location!!

I booked my installation far enough ahead that they were able to procure a better, model-specific wiring harness that was easier to install and provided better longevity. Installation took less time than expected and I’m extremely satisfied with the results. Thanks again!

SETH LWhen I called in to change my contract, the person I talked with was very curt. This location is excellent, but corporate is extremely non-customer friendly. You have a monopoly and you treat your customers that way. In the future, when I have this need, I will purchase my own trailer and resell it when I am done.

DAN HI don't think my bad experience was related to the Ballwin location specifically. The truck that I was rented had lots of mechanical issues that popped up half way through my drive.
