I might have chosen excellent, but I knocked it down to two pegs due to just one aspect. I had ordered a dolly and was annoyed when told they didn't have one to give me. They asked if that was ok, and I said, well, I guess it has to be, because you don't have one to give me. I was hauling a bunch of items, including a whole lot of boxes, some of them heavy, to a storage unit. And sure enough, the walk to my unit was substantial, and I had no dolly to transport the boxes. Needless to say, it was a TON more work and took WAY longer than it would have if I was given the dolly I had ordered. So while that may have seemed like a minor inconvenience, it made the move so much more difficult on the back end especially.

JOHN DThe brakes were very very soft. Dangerously soft. The transmission defaults to "tow/haul" at start up. It would be nice for the attendant to explain how to drive the truck in normal drive mode, particularly when driving an empty truck off the lot. Tach was at 3,000 RPM on a flat road. I though the transmission was going to blow.
MARVIN CMany of the people at this location are excellent. Others come across a little too casual/unprofessional. Smoking while checking back in a truck, talking to each other about non-business activity while servicing customers, etc...

All the people made it easy and were extremely helpful in explaining to me about the trailer and what to be careful of while pulling it. I went from St. Louis MO to Chicago IL then to Holland MI, and the equipment performed perfectly. All in all, it was a great experience. Thank you

MARK CEveryone at this shop was overwhelmingly professional & personable. I arrived for a noon hitch, brake controller etc install. (95 degree day, feels like temp of 107 in the shop. These guys did an immaculate install. They cut no corners, period. Highly recommend this shop above others particularly because of the staff. Everyone has parts, these guys make the difference.

JEFFREY HI made my reservation about a month in advance in Saint Louis, Missouri, which included a 20-foot truck, 12 pads, an appliance dolly, and a car trailer. However, my reservation was unexpectedly split — I was told to pick up the truck and pads in Saint Louis, while the appliance dolly would be available in Ballwin. Unfortunately, that turned out to be untrue. When I arrived in Ballwin, I was informed that all appliance dollies had already been reserved, and there was nothing available for me. It was frustrating to discover, despite planning a month ahead, that I couldn’t access everything I had reserved. This situation wasted a lot of my time. That said, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the employee in Ballwin who went above and beyond to help. Despite the issue not being her fault, she managed to locate an appliance dolly and provided it to me anyway. I would give her 10 stars out of five if I could — her professionalism and initiative truly saved the day. Lastly, I want to flag a safety concern: one of the straps on the car trailer was damaged. I only noticed this while securing my car, and it made me uneasy during the drive, fearing it might snap at any moment. Please ensure all equipment is thoroughly inspected for future customers. U-Haul is my favorite, but this time things didn't work out well at all.
Maurice TWe were charged over $100 for gas because they said we did not return it full. We have opened a complaint, but still have not heard back. We will never rent from this location again and tell anyone we know to not rent from there.
