I’m upset because my movers wanted a uhaul payment code and I could not find it and uhaul was closed. The movers harassed me all night and scared me. Where is this code???? And why is it so difficult to pull up in an email or a text????
Dana HThe van front bumper was not attached properly, the van was filthy had dog hair all on the seats and everywhere else and the floor mats were dirty as well, looks like this was not cleaned and ready for rental, your rentals should be gone through and cleaned between rentals.

MICHAEL SBooking - easy. Assistance by Elijah at Brookline - very helpful. Our truck was not present (why would you book a 30min turn around for a truck?) and he assisted in locating another one nearby. He was the only helpful UHaul staff in all of Boston - and I felt bad as he was handling multiple customers. Brighton - horrible, lady working on June 19th had music blaring at her computer and we could barely have a conversation while she worked with us. She told us she had no dollies (even though reserved) and did not assist with helping locate alternatives. No walkthrough or handoff with truck. Truck was dirty in cab (spilt soda, trash on floor) and back ramp was covered in motor oil (our movers fell on it and we spent 10min degreasing it with multiple products). We later had to call corporate where after 3 transfers a supply manager helped direct us to the Mass-Ave Boston location for dollies. We showed up and staff tried to argue with me that I had to buy them rather than the products put on hold from corporate. The staff that brought out the dollies eventually didn't assist with loading and told us to 'fuck off'. I have used UHaul before and never had such a poor experience in Boston, St. Louis, Cincinnati before. This was so disappointing and put us back 3 hours.

William AEmployees were kind and personable. Equipment was old, outdated and dirty. TPS sensor on indicating an issue with tire pressure, yeah on a moving truck! Windows were filthy and pollen covered (on the inside). The passenger door mirror was loose and lost visibility out of it as soon as I drove off the lot. So bottom line your people are great, your product- horrible…Do better U-Haul.

Joseph TTruck cabin smelled of weed and was not really cleaned. The A/C was also not cooling. Yall should really give better maintenance to the trucks. Also the fact that it was given to me with only a quarter tank of gas wasn’t great. Truck space was great though and the employee I talked to was really nice.

HOWARD FTeam running the Brighton location did a great job. It was the smoothest pickup and drop off I've had with UHaul. No issues with equipment availability and I was able to drop off using the app.

SAMUEL MEquipment/truck was clean and generally maintained, but it was very difficult to maneuver. The gear shift was very finicky and the emergency break got stuck at one point. Would recommend for U-Haul to test drive their vehicles either more frequently, or adjust criteria for passing vehicles.
Susan NParking space for people who rent the truck. Also, the truck should be allotted to all person - not on the first come first serve basis.

Samantha SHi, This location did NOTHING wrong. It was the entire company as a whole. You pay people minimum wage yet have the slowest of internet, computers, etc causing lines out the door thus causing customers to be mad at staff when in reality it’s you corporate lions who sit at a big desk raking in money while the little people do your work and receive the brunt of complaints. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Im disgusted & will never go with this company again. Signed, a masters level educated human who is so tired of corporate bullshit.
Ariana BLocation is great. It was a Saturday am, so a lot of customers, but both check in and out would have been faster without using the app. To finally get to my approval stage on the app, I had to get an agent involved by chat after a few minutes to get approval. Also, when you check in manually, they give you the key and tell you exactly where the truck is located in the lot. When you use the app, once approved, you get a truck ID which you need to find in the lot. A lot with a many trucks the same size as yours can make this a bit time consuming. Then when you find your truck, you need to go back inside, and ask the busy agents at the counter to give you the key. The agents were very responsive regarding the key, but I think I will be using the counter next time, even if they are six people ahead of me in line!

RICHARD CStaff was friendly and helpful, despite the fact that an issue came up with a parking ticket that my son, who was the second driver, had two years ago. Apparently it got flagged in the system even though he paid it two years ago in a timely way (during. his own move with a u-haul in NYC). The fact that this can even happen was very upsetting. I didn't even know at that point if I could rent the truck or what I would do if we could to get it sorted because it was my daughter's move out day from college, and in Boston there would be no other rentals available. We did not even know WHOSE problem it was until I called the uhaul number the customer rep gave me and sat on hold for 35 minutes after U-haul said it would be a five minute wait on the answering line. That was a BAD experience for me, because I was not the one with the ticket, yet MY rental got delayed. U Haul needs to make sure customers understand this policy if one of the people potentially driving has an unpaid ticket. The guy at the counter, who was very nice, said it happens all the time. All the time?? SHAME ON U-HAUL!!!! This is a terrible policy. I If I had known, I could just have rented the truck in my own name and driven. But once my son's name was tagged to the rental, it got flagged. Since we didn't know WHOSE name was flagged, we were stuck. Moreover, it was UHAUL's FAULT for NOT CLEARING THE TICKET that was paid 2 years ago in a timely way. If you can't clear the tickets that were paid TWO YEARS AGO on your own lousy system then don't hold us accountable. Very Stressful when you are moving on a timetable. So U-Haul gets an F for rental policy but the office manager was very nice and understanding and tried to help us out. HOWEVER, UHAUL policy also let us down when I was told I would get a 10 foot box and we were "upgraded" to a 15 foot truck. I do not WANT OR NEED such a truck. I do not want to drive such a big truck. But I was stuck because U HAUL cannot guarantee anything until 24 hours before the truck is delivered to a pick up location. So, essentially, I had to take this truck I did not want. SHAME ON you, U-Haul. I rented the truck 2 months in advance, and you could not guarantee it?? I would think again before renting from U-Haul not because of the service team but these terrible policies.

MAURICIO ZI returned equipment after hours, so I did not interact with any staff. The location seems well maintained and safe.
JONATHAN LWhen I arrived the truck I was assigned was blocked in and I was given a new truck. When I went to return the truck I hadn’t been reassigned the correct truck in the system and consequently was charged for more miles than I drove because the wrong odometer was being tracked.
