They lost/cancelled my original reservation, which caused a lot of issues when I came to pick up the trailer. Then, I didn't get very far down the road and got a flat tire. 2+ hrs later, the tire was changed by Allstar tow company. Then, only about 5-7 miles down the road, the same exact tire got a flat. So, clearly there was something wrong with the trailer structure that was rubbing on the tire or some similar defect. Evidently, these trailers don't get very good inspections. I've never been so upset about renting from U-Haul ever! I will never trust again.

I have to say Uhaul has come very far in its customer service and equipment. I met Annette when I arrived there at 7ish in the morning and she was so nice and helpful. I remember coming to Uhaul a year or so ago and it was nothing like my experience with both Annette and another employee there on my last visit last month. Thank you to them both and to Uhaul for having such wonderful employees!

I got an oil change for the truck because after driving it 3 miles the light came on that it was low. Numerous phone calls and seven weeks later I am still waiting to be reimbursed like I was promised.

I picked up my truck on Saturday morning and when I arrived there was a big line and only one person was working at the checkout. For a busy Saturday it would have been nice to have more than one person working at the counter. When I finally made it through the line, the lady working was really nice and efficient and got me out the door and quickly through the check out process.

Annette was great but on a weekend morning she needs some help. They gentlemen pulling the trucks was also great they just need some morning help to move the line. Truck was full of gas , though best to double check before leaving site, with a few dings but nothing you wouldn't expect from a truck rented countless times.

so now i reserved uhaul online yesterday for today...i went to location at 11.30 am..i was standing in line for 45 min...there was only one employee was working... she took almost 15 min to each customer...finally i reached to counter... she was doing all contract things.. than she took almost 15 min to find uhal.. than she gave me uhal..made all contracts..i paid.. and now i was waiting for my epuipment outside.she showed up after 5 min and said i couldnt find vehicle than she took more 15 min to find vehicle and finally she told me i dont have vehicle that u already reserved so i m gonna cancel your reservation..wtf. it screwed up everything my work.. and the other thing she doesnt know how to talk.....reason i m writing this.. i was regular customer for that location if see the history i book uhaul 2 times a week... and now you i never go there anymore... i have budget truck rental next to my business location.... thank you and i hope you take some action so u wont loose more customer in future..and i m gonna write this to everywhere becoz i m pissed.. screwed my day

The manager was very nice (and very stressed by the day). However, I had reserved a 9' cargo van. I had called 2 days earlier and confirmed that yes, they would definitely have the van. On the day of the rental, the manager called me at 9am for a noon pick-up that she didn't have the van. But should have one back by 3pm for a 1 way, out-of-state trip. When I arrived at 3pm, she didn't have the van, because an employee gave the wrong van to an in-town mover earlier. Although the manager was very apologetic and very kind, I was forced to take a larger 10' truck (the move was into New York City, not an ideal place for a wider, taller, and larger truck). Although I was able to complete the move with the truck, I was very disappointed at the failure by the U-Haul company (not this location specifically) and the logistics involved.

Make sure that all existing damages on the trucks are documented. I had to request this because a significant damage was not yet known and documented when I got the truck.

Actually, we have a not so pleased experience. We have a reservation for a 10' truck at River Street. But when we check-in, the location is changed automatically into Beacon Street. And we haven't realized this until we go to the River Street. Then, we are told to go to the Beacon Street and the truck is already prepared. However, when we arrive at Beacon Street, the staff tell us that our truck is not prepared and we need to go to Quincy to get our truck. Finally, we change our truck from 10' truck to 8' pickup truck at Beacon Street. We hope U-haul to make the online system much better so that both customer and staff can communicate more effectively.

The online ordering system could use some work. I rented 1 set of furniture pads and a mattress bag and when I got to the uhaul location I was given and then charged for 2 sets of furniture pads and I am pretty sure I had to pay for the mattress bag again and online when I ordered.

The check in process is highly manual at the location and it is poorly staffed. When I arrived there were 3 people ahead of me but I still waited 27 minutes. I can imagine this can be automated online or with an automatic machine. At least, you can assign more personnel to do it. When I left, there were 7 people behind me. I imagine the 7th waited at least ah hour in line.
