I had a horrible experience with UHaul. I repeatedly called and asked if I can pick it up off hours. But when I showed up early in the morning the truck wasn't where it was supposed to be. Worst was the customer service agents kept transferring me from one to another. This delay messed up my whole move. Very disappointed.

I was charged an extra $90 fee for I still don't know what, had to call 4 times and was on hold for 10 minutes. I gave up and ended up calling back later and Sam helped me over the phone and was able to fix everything for me. I still think this is a great location and they are very apt to helping you with what you need, however I wasn't told I had to fold the moving blankets when I returned them to avoid the $25 cleaning fee. That being said overall my experience at this location has been positive and if anything happened that I thought was negative, they're willing and ready to help.. other than leaving you on hold.

They had a huge selection of trucks to choose from, as this is an actual U-Haul rep, not a business that rents U-Hauls on the side. The gentleman was very nice and helpful. Had us on our way quickly. Highly recommend. We had a reservation with Budget but they screwed us and we were able to reserve with this place in a matter of an hour.

Items I had reserved were unavailable. When I booked the truck over the phone, they said there was parking. There was no parking and the employee practically yelled at me for believing the agent on the phone. I would not have booked this location knowing there was no parking.

It took 30 minutes to confirm a reservation I already made online. The person behind the counter (who was actually very kind) couldn't figure any of it out, so he asked the manager to come out. The manager came from the back room to the counter (indoors) without a mask on. It was extremely uncomfortable. I politely asked if he could put a mask on and he rudely told me “no” because he doesn't have to because this is his “office” and he's working alone. He's not alone or in his office if all three of us are there...Finally, I get the truck and there are used tissues in it. It's a pandemic... It was extremely unpleasant and I regret using this location.

It would helpful to have a sign at the entrance saying whether there is customer parking or where customers can part. I was confused and drove around the lot and the street covered in snow to find parking. Aside from that, the experience was good

I reserved the truck to be available at Hyde Park U-Haul. The day before pickup, I get a call that the truck would be available at Brighton U-Haul. This is a 28 minute drive from the reserved location. A big inconvenience. The truck did not have snow tires and I had to drive in snow on the reserved date.

The tank of the vehicle was not full when I picked it up. I filled the tank as requested by the agent before I return the vehicle. I use the vehicle for two hours. I was told I would receive a credit of $20 off of my bill because of the gas and this never happened. Therefore I consider the business behavior at this location to be fraudulent and I would not recommend it

I would definitely recommend UHaul to anyone moving cross country. The website was very helpful and the pick up and return of the vehicle went very well. The truck was easy to drive, clean, and handled well. I had no concerns about safety with regard to its handling or equipment (such as tires, or windshield wipers). My only complaint was how difficult it was to get a live person on the phone. There were times I waited more than 20 minutes to speak with someone. When I did speak with that person, they were very helpful.

first, i had booked for a local location to me so I could walk. my reservation changed last minute to this one and I had no choice but accept it. When I arrived, it took almost a half hour of standing at the counter to get my reservation. Then, I couldnt find the vehicle in the lot. turns out it was behind some vans. Then I had to wait 15-30 minutes more for them to move them. Finally got it home, with less than a quarter tank of gas so also had to fill up. THEN I had to uber for $20 to go get my personal vehicle. On top of that, I returned the vehicle at 2pm 5 days later, but apparently it was supposed to be returned based on the reservation time (which was not clear) yall had the nerve to charge an extra $60, even though I drove more than 100 miles less than estimated. never again will I use uhaul for anything, including my upcoming trailer rental.


Awful. I have never been treated so rudelt. They did not have the truck I reserved and made no attempt to help resolve it. They did not even look at me when I spoke with them. They did have the pads I ordered. The windshield wipers were defective. Moving is stressful enough


Have a working tow dolly if you rent it to me. 4 of 4 had a rear light not operational. Had to go to another location. Also, include the hand/utility dolly if I pay for one with my rental.


Woman working behind the counter on pickup not wearing mask--even when customers are required to stand 3 feet away, sign documents and provide credit card and license--so air potentially full of virus. Ditto: different woman on delivery day. Neither would allow inquiry from the front door, safely outside. No evidence or claim that UHAUL even bothers to disinfect rental trucks between users--but many other industries do so.
