Seemed to be short handed. Had to wait a while until attendant was finished outside to come in and man the office. By that time several were waiting. Attendant was courteous and knowledgeable.

RANDALL BI was referred to the Chambersburg location from Gettysburg due to the previous renter damaging the trailer that I had reserved. Everyone was pleasant and helpful at both locations. U-Haul has a policy that mandates that I had to return the trailer to Chambersburg, a 90 min round trip, that was very inconvenient to the customer. In situations where an error or accident causes an alternate location for rental then U-Haul should have some flexibility and understanding.

EKONDUA AI asked for a box truck so I could move some appliances, and they gave me a 10' box truck. When I returned to my house to get my wife I noticed that there was no ramp. I returned the truck, and the manager told, me he would give me a lower rate for my inconvenience. When I returned the truck, and wanted to settle my bill, your employee told me that the computers were down, and he would send me the receipt. When I received the receipt, there was no reduction of the bill. Please look into this and get me the proper invoice. Thanks, Charles Lindeen
CHARLES LWonderful experience overall! That said, a heads-up that the dolly I rented was going to forcefully slam against the inside wall of the truck as I pulled away from the lot would’ve saved me a moment of panic lol

ZACHARY GThe truck was filthy. It had drinks spilled down both doors and something spilled down the inside of the back of the truck. When you opened the doors, it smellee bad. The rent me sign was still across the window. I had rented a furniture dolly, the gentleman told me to check the truck to see it was in there and it wasn't, so I had to walk back down to They had none in stock so he have me two little wheeled board things that were greasy and disgusting. I left the shop almost 20 minutes after my scheduled pick up time. I tried to use them and they did not work at all. I ended up running to the store to get room spray to try to get the smell out of the front and back of the truck. This was the worst experience I had with Uhaul.

MICHAEL LUhaul needs to look at making this more affordable your company preys on people that are in a binding for any reasons the other issue I have is how you devilishly Have your low gear tow setting to come on automatically without anything being hooked up I.E gas mileage drainer bravo uhaul I think you have the cable company's beat with your fuckery

The thing that is making give the Excellent rating is the female employee working and inspecting the vehicles - she was so nice and great that it just demanded a 5 start rating. I would rent from her anytime. She is an outstanding employee, and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

Shawn MThey sent me on the road with a faulty hitch. Trailer started flying behind my vehicle like a kite. Very dangerous!! There could have been a very serious accident! I waited on the side of the road for two hours waiting for the tow truck to take back the trailer.

TYLER PThis location in Chambersburg has always given excellent service for my business and personal needs. The lot could use more room to maneuver because this location is always busy!
BEVERLY COnly thing I didn’t like was that I ordered a dolly and two packs of blankets. Both were there but then another pack of blankets and a dolly was sip tied to the wall. If I broke the tie then I had to pay for it? They were both in the way and took away space in the trailer.

CHARLES MYour personnel hooked the trailer up to my truck. Approximately 5 miles after leaving, the trailer came off my hitch traveling diwn an Interstate highway.. Outside of damaging one of my exhaust tips, I was able to save the trailer and my truck

Sandra CI was told TWICE to go to the location on Route 11-- a real pig stye. The guy there was a real dick and refuse to take the truck. Said he had no room. Then I realized I had received an 11th hour, third text change directing me to Lincoln Highway. What a total fuck up. We spent an hour jack assing around in traffic. All because you try to get your customers to do your local logistics, instead of paying someone to do it. You want to fix it?? Send everyone to Lincoln highway and then if the asshole with the pimple of an operation on Route 11 needs a truck let him pay for someone to retrieve it.

Brenda BI was rented a truck that had no heat for a two day rental in sub-freezing temperatures. Vehicle maintenance and validation of system functionality need to be a priority. Also when I arrived at the destination where I was picking up my Aunt's furniture (a 2hr drive), I called a local Uhaul in that area to try and exchange the vehicle and was told I could not. The reason for this was not the availability of vehicles but because the truck I rented was a "route vehicle". I view the entire situation as completely unacceptable. Upon returning the vehicle and letting the attendant know it has no heat there was hardly any reaction or concern that the vehicle was rented to me in this state
