U-Haul makes everything very easy. I was able reserved exactly what I needed on the app, at a very convenient location. My only minor issue, is that the app would not allow me to select the dropoff location and I couldn't figure out why.

Staff was friendly and helpful. A little tricky leaving the facility if you need to head east on Kingston Pike (having to make a left hand turn off the property). Made sure that I was heading west when I returned the truck so I would be able to make a right hand turn back onto the property.

Pickup required that I come inside the building and it was a long walk across the store to the service desk. I would have rated it excellent if they had come to my truck. I'd recommend moving the service desk next to the entrance, and if picking up a trailer, offer curbside service. While the trailer was acceptable, the back door seal did not appear to be watertight. Fortunately, we did not have rain. I recommend checking and replacing gasket if needed. Finally, UHaul needs to develop a way to lock the trailer to the hitch ball on the renter's vehicle. I needed to leave my trailer in an urban area overnight and I did not want anyone to steal the entire trailer. I needed to rig a bicycle lock to the trailer arm in order to attach a heavy 4-foot chain, and pad lock this between my truck and the trailer. Fortunately, it doesn't appear to have been tampered with, and everything was okay.

Where we actually dropped of on 10833 kingston pike in knoxvile Tn was EXCELLENT, very accommodating! The first drop off we were directed to at 214 west central ave. La Follette Tn was unaccommodating with no access room to unload and therefor required a return trip to find the kingston pike drop off. The La Follette is HIGHLY UNRECOMDED!

I called in a reservation. Upon arrival, the reservation was for another location, even though I confirmed everything with the nice man with whom I initially spoke. The lady at UHaul of Farragut got everything sorted out and was able to rent me a truck. She is one of the best customer service reps I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with.

I booked a truck to pickup at 7:30pm using mobile phone. I arrived at 8:30pm but the app didn’t let me pickup. I had to call customer service. She said the reason was I was late. That didn’t make sense! Then she said she rebooked for me and I can go ahead. It worked but the reservation was only until 12:45am (4 hours) while my original reservation was for 16 hours. That caused lots of problems for me. I could hardly extend it to 8am and I had to do my job early early next morning which was very inconvenient.

Little annoyed that upon return, the sign said to use Mobile App to check trailer back in or be penalized but mobile app couldn't find my rental, so I guess I take it in the shorts on that one.

I loved the 26' Ford truck it had plenty of power and got reasonable fuel mileage for such a BIG truck. IT was clean and everything worked, AC Radio seats. The front-end alignment was good no pulling and I couldn't have gotten an entire house of stuff moved without it. THANKS Great job by the guys at Fairy-Gate Uhaul also they were very good, especially the guy who was there on Sunday. I was Hot,Tired and have just had surgery on Thursday before this move, so I was very grouchy and a PIA, I apologized to him (John i believe) there and am apologizing again now. HE was there by himself and did a GREAT job for being all alone.

Was charged $26 for fuel. I have a photo of when I picked up the U-Haul and when I dropped it off showing how many miles until empty. Someone needs to fix this before I call my credit card company and have the charge reversed. Very disappointing and poor customer service!

The young man that waited on me was very unfriendly and hardly said anything. Poor customer service skills! I do not recommend anybody going there because even though I’m doing the survey, they’ll keep him as an employee and not say anything to him
