GENE DMy reservation was made for a different location but he never had the reservation or the trailer. When I showed up there, he had to call someone (who sounded like we woke her up). She said my reservation was moved to this location on Gateway. I never got a notification of this until we called. Then I got a text and email. A little late. I then went to the Gateway location. The staff was helpful and the process was very easy. They hooked the trailer up and unhooked it when I returned it. Very easy.

MICHAEL MPick up was super easy. My trailer was picked up, installed tightly and safely and we were on our way in under 15 minutes.

MICHAEL MExterior was not clean and interior of van was slightly dirty, that my containers were dirty. Interior of drivers cab was clean. Chad was exceptional in customer service.
Leona BChad was fantastic. He said they would guide us onto the auto transport and make sure everything was super secure when it was hooked up. I returned that afternoon though and found Chad wasn't on duty and the guy who was didn't seem to be very interested in helping with anything. He didn't guide, he didn't really check anything, he didn't even help us figure out how to move the darn strap adjusters. So 3 out of 5 stars. Also, I was able to do it perfectly but it seems a strange thing to give people a truck with a quarter gas tank. It makes filling it rather tricky. If we turn it in low, we have to pay through the nose, but if we turn it in too high, it's not like we get any money back. What a racket. Give them out with full tanks or consider refunding the gas we pay for that wasn't needed. >:(

ROBERT SWe rented a trailer and it stunk like cat pee SO bad! We were hauling new furniture and I was worried the stench would make our furniture stink as well. This is the first not so good experience we've had and we have rented our fair share of trailers/vans. This experience will not deter us from renting again but it was a disappointment.
LEROY BU-Haul has never let us down! We came in on Saturday and rented a 10' van and motorcycle without reservations and they were able to accommodate our needs right away! The people that work there know their jobs and are very helpful. The miscellaneous items they have in stock have come in handy several times. Highly recommend!!
TAMMY DU-Haul of Grand Forks has never let us down. We have rented motorcycle trailers and a U-Haul 15 ft. van when we moved and they have all be the smoothest most convenient experiences!! Everything was ready for us when we got there and drop-off was a breeze! I won't go anywhere else for our transportation needs!!
TAMMY DThe amount of gas in the tank that was indicated when I picked it up was a little high. I noticed a little difference between what I was told and what appeared on the gadge, so I should have taken a picture or raised a stink about it with the individual checking me out. I wish I had, because when checking in, I was initially told that I owed something like $5.95 for gas, when actually I was upset with myself because I had put too much gas in the tank right before returning it. You can understand the frustration of putting too much gas in the tank and then getting charged because there was not enough in the tank. It appears, I am not actually going to get charged the $5.95, but frustrating I had to defend that is all. Next time I rent a Uhaul truck, I will remember the experience with the gas guage and will be a stickler for the details. I have rented so many cars over the years and have never been charged for underfilling, but have many, many times overfilled the tanks just like I did with this Uhaul rental. Again, it appears that I am not actually going to get charged the $5.95, but dealing with that after accidentally actually overfilling the tank was very annoying.

MARK DMy reservation pickup location was changed. When I tried to call the new location 5 times between 8;00 and 9:30 the morning my pickup no one answered. I actually ended up getting a truck gym the grand forks location I originally wanted to pick up at. If you’re going to move my pickup location make damn sure someone is there to respond. This cost me time time and money. The grand forks office was awesome but I would say Uhaul as a group filed miserably

SCOTT DDropped off after hours so did not talk to any employees. Not sure if travel blankets come with the trailer rental or not, but there were blankets in the trailer when I picked it up, and the blankets are still in the trailer. Just an FYI if they aren't supposed to be in there, someone should get them out of the trailer.
BRIAN JLearn how to respect your customers ( you can’t welcome your customers in the very mean way because, they come to rent a truck), reduce your mileage price, update your trucks because, your trucks are too noisy and they use too much gas.
MOUMINY SMy pick up went very smoothly. They were very friendly and helped hook up. I would for sure recommend this location. My drop of at a different location was a horrible experience but that is not what you were asking be rated here

HASKELL C.Had to pull out of a snow bank just to use it and then there was a nail in the tires. So I had to keep it air in the tire up.

OSMAN DThe only thing I didn't like was that there was no jack on the trailer so I couldn't unhook from the trailer if I had wanted to. Returns were easy and efficient.

nicole b | Overall ExperienceWe had issues with the ubox showing up 2weeks late and damaged. Grand Forks was aware of issue. The manager called right away when it came in and the sfaff was very helpful when we got there.
