I reserved a trailer online. It showed 3 days to return. But once I went to the pick up location, they told me it was only 2 days. Extra charge after that. I found it dishonesty. And I ended up paying $28. I feel it is wrong.

The in person experience at Kirkland was exceptional at pick up and drop off. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend using this location if near your moving experience. The online experience was terrible - equipment was not located near where it was reserved, added several.hours of transportation time for.pick up and drop off. The online services only worked partially at.pick up and we're much more cumbersome than in person.

I had a good experience renting a U-Haul truck and returning it — the process was smooth and convenient. One suggestion I have is that before handing the truck over, it would be very helpful if a staff member could give a more detailed explanation of the truck’s features. For example, showing how to adjust the mirrors, operate key controls, and go over safety features would make first-time drivers feel more comfortable and confident. Overall, it was a positive experience, and with a bit more orientation at the beginning, it could be even better.

Hitch installation is incorrect because they missed installing a bolt on the hitch. Moreever, this location is heavily understaffed , I need to wait on phone for hours before talking to somebody to know if my car is ready.

From the moment I walked in the sales guy was a super Duper nice. I wanted the newer van and at first he couldn’t find the keys, but then he found the keys and I am so happy that I rented the van that I rented. It was the best and the easiest driving experience I’ve had with U-Haul. I had to call and extend by about an hour and a half and again I was treated so nicely. When I returned the truck again, the person was very very friendly. It was a fabulous experience.

Great and easy process! Made the move so seamless! The only thing that happened was when we made our reservation for 8:00 am the location ended up not being opened yet. But somehow the reservation went through. The customer service representative my husband spoke to was super kind and helpful. We got our truck in the end and we moved! Yay!

Truck was ready and clean as expected. The only thing keeping this from being five stars was that the engine light was on. Before I drove off I went and asked about it and they said don't worry about it. While doing my move, the engine light started flashing which made me think things were getting worse. Everything ended up fine but it was very disconcerting as I could not be sure I would make it to my destination. I think they could do better than that. Otherwise I really like this location.

Both the transmission and the alignment on the truck are in desperate need of service. It was miserable to drive. We truly enjoyed the service we received. It was excellent on pick up and drop off and getting us all of our supplies however over the vehicle was absolutely miserable to drive

They treated me terribly here. On the phone, the kid tried to discourage me from coming in saying that it was too late to rent a van, 1 hour before closing. I asked some questions and he finally let me come pick up a van. The young man, new worker, with British accent had NO IDEA how to check out my rental and made multiple mistakes, overcharging me, telling me the wrong price, and taking over 30 mins. He said I could bring it back before 6pm the next day. At 2pm, the other kid calls me threatening to report it stolen. He was extremely derogatory when I called back, stating what the new employee told me. He scolded me as if he was a police officer, saying "you bring the van back. Before 5pm. Today. You dont get put on the stolen list. UNDERSTOOD?" I was stunned and told him that the new guy said I had a full 24 hrs. He immediately understood his colleague's mistake and became very nice to me all of a sudden. He tried to backtrack saying he wasn't scolding me, he just wanted to be sure I understood. He needs to be investigated. My phone call was recorded, please look into it.

Can't leave your car because there is no parking, truck was falling a apart, and we got SCAMMED. We did 10 miles, put gas, and still got charged $20 for 3 gallon, when the truck had more gas in it than when we took it. This place is a shithole.

I had an extremely difficult experience renting a U-Haul at this location. I booked a 9-ft cargo van initially, but was then notified that those aren’t available for after hours pick up on the day of my reservation, and was upgraded to a 10-ft truck. But when I arrived at the U-Haul to pick it up, the 10-ft truck was blocked by other vans. The first person I spoke to on the customer support line was super helpful and professional and was eventually able to get me a 15-ft truck, but I was not expecting to drive a vehicle of that size for my move. In addition, going through the setup process with the app was incredibly confusing because there was no support for my specific situation. My online reservation didn’t update to reflect the new truck, so I couldn’t upload pictures of the original truck or complete any of the pickup instructions. I eventually was able to bypass the pickup steps and just continued on with the reservation, but faced the same issues when trying to return it. Overall, this experience was a huge hassle and I hope there is better support for situations like these in the future.

Management needs a spanking. These poor kids are soooooo busy with only 1 or 2 at the desk. Its impossible for them to keep up. WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THEM YOU GREEDY PEOPLE? YOU TRY IT. THEY ARE GROSSLY UNDERSTAFFED.

I empathize with the plight of the staff here, but they really REALLY need to learn how to better handle a situation when a customer with a reservation arrives on time and the equipment they had reserved isn't available. Ask questions about their needs, offer some accommodations or suggestions to help... or I dunno, maybe get in touch with the people who didn't return the equipment on time? It's never an easy situation to handle, I know; I've worked jobs like this before, when I say I empathize I truly mean it. But come on, why didn't the staff here even try suggesting I take a smaller truck? I had to ask about that... On the other hand though, the truck itself (along with a previous rental from this same location about a week ago) was in very good condition. The store was clean and seemed well organized, and navigating the lot to both take and return the truck was very easy. The location of this particular store is a bit tricky to manage due to the high volume of car traffic passing by it, but that also means getting on the road once you have the key in your hand can be very quick -- depending on traffic of course. There are many things that definitely need some adjustment from a process perspective, but the staff seem to be doing their best and I can't fault them for being subject to the fickle nature of customers failing to return equipment on time. How they respond to that fickleness is what needs improvement in my opinion.

The attendant checked me in quickly and then hooked up the rented trailer to my car in just a few minutes. The trailer did the job, and when I returned, the attendant got me on my way again in just a couple of minutes.

I am generally satisfied with U-Haul's services, such as vehicle delivery and agent support, which have helped simplify the process. However, I felt frustrated and cheated after an unwarranted deduction occurred post-delivery of the vehicle. As part of the vehicle handover process, we filled up the tank (I can provide the details and charges, if needed) and the agent verified and acknowledged that everything was set. Yet, a fuel charge was later added, which was very frustrating and damaged the credibility of U-Haul's services. I did not find it professional to add such surprising charges without any explanation, especially when the agent had verified and confirmed that everything was in order during the handover. This experience has left me feeling cheated, and it may impact my willingness to recommend U-Haul's services in the future.
