Douglas CWhen i arrived. The lady at the front desk was not giving me her full attention. She was chatting and doing stuff in her phone while assisting me. I was due for a 5pm pick up, but that turned into me leaving at almost 6pm from the uhaul. The lady had to move like 10 trucks no joke, just to get the 26’ one out for me. But then, when she was trying to get it out, she couldnt, and came and asked me to spot her in the cold rain, this took like 20 minutes. This was a horrible experience. And on top of it all. She charged me like double the total of what i was supposed to pay. AND THEN, the truck driver side mirror was broken and i could rely on that to use for my safty. And the RPMs kept getting stuck. Id be driving and then randomly the RPMs on the truck would just rev and rev and rev until it just stopped. It was horrible. And there truck came with no lock for the back door.

Joann BReserve the truck the day before was going to pick up the U-Haul truck at 8:30 AM checked in the keys were not in the lock box No. three had to wait till 9 o’clock for them to open the employee shows up 10 minutes late pull into the parking lot like a bat out of Hill there was three other customers waiting for their units with me, the employee unlocks the door does not apologize for being late. She was very rude. Do not recommend using U-Haul again.

Joann BThe Vehicle I was rented on Saturday February 15th from you Langhorne location was a dangerous vehicle. It had No headlights besides the High beams that needed to be operated by holding the turn signal arm towards the driver. Also no rear lights, so driving through a rainstorm in the dark with a full 15 ft truck I had to constantly pull the arm towards me and leave the hazard lights on while driving through a rainstorm on Rt 1 going 55 miles an hour. Also, the Dolly I requested was not available so they gave me a hand truck instead. Useless for carrying 8' armoires and 300 lbs flat files. I would think there is some, at least partial refund in order. The clerk was nice.

Aaron BThe two girls that work in that office are rude, lazy, very unprofessional, they need to be trained to learn how to communicate with people! I was overcharged, the trucks back gate kept getting stuck which I address upon renting, I was ignored which led to the gate flying up while driving and lost hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise! You couldn’t pay me to have those girls work for me, I wouldn’t even let them volunteer ..total disgrace

JOANN BThe truck was older and has over 100k miles on it. It ran poorly. The employee didn’t go over the truck with me. And to top things off, I was charged an environmental fee that the employee couldn’t explain. When I returned the truck, the regional manager was there and I asked her why the fee didn’t show up when I made the reservation online. She confirmed that the environmental fee was BOT on my online reservation but still charged to me!

Cynthia HI rarely comment on reviews, even for poor experiences, but this was particularly bad. Poor customer service, need clear upfront pricing, truck was parked so close to another truck I had to enter from the passenger side door and blindly back out the truck. Paperwork said the gas was full, only 3/4 filled it back to full to not get charged. Attempted to go back but there was a handwritten sign on the door saying they would be back.

JAMES MCheck in girl was not very friendly but was very helpful.
DAVID KEquipment was in good condition. Employee was on FaceTime with a friend actively having a conversation while checking out my trailer order. As a result, checkout took longer than it should have. Employee also had no idea what an auto transport trailer was, she said ”did you see it out there? I don’t know the difference”. I made all trailer connections myself. The employee didn’t get out of her chair, despite me being the only customer. Most U-hauls I’ve been to in the past won’t let you hook up yourself without at least supervision, if not the employee making all connections themselves. Poor, incompetent service.
RYAN CThe appliance dolly had wheels that would barely move. The truck didn't have a ramp. The customer service person was speaking to me and someone on the other end of her personal cell phone. The customer service person asked me if I returned the blankets, I never was issued blankets and had not, to the best of my knowledge, requested them on my reservation.

Joann BReserving and checking-out and -in of cargo van was very smooth. Remote check-out and check-in went smoothly. Cargo van was immaculate upon picking up as was also the location attendant in handling the transaction. One minor, in my judgement, distraction was the adjustment range of the driver's seat for relatively tall people -- I'm 6' 3" -- is limited. RG
