OLADOTUN FSize and location of property makes logistics difficult. Pick-up and drop-off times of vehicles is wound so tight. When I arrived I found out the truck I was supposed to rent was scheduled to arrive exactly the same time I was supposed to be able to leave with it, and it never showed up. I was forced to rent a different truck and leave far later than I planned, and had to bring it back far sooner than I'd intended. Very poor organization, and the truck I was forced into had a massive exhaust leak that affected its performance and let fumes into the cab.
ZACHARY KI had gone to u haul on east st in Indy made a reservation got there and they did not have trailer so the manager said she would take 50.00 off bill and sent me to another store on lynhurst I have not received my 50.00 credit
CHRISTOPHER LMy initial reservation was with Wagners on west Washington Street in Indianapolis. Weceere scheduled for pick up at 10 AM. As if 10:20, they had not opened. I contacted customer service who quickly found what I needed close by. I have never been let down by uhaul before. Thank you to the support team

DWAYNE TI returned my rental a day earlier and was not returned the money for the day I did not use the rental. I returned it clean and with a full tank of gas and the company said the tank was not full and is charging me $13 for less than a gallon of gas. No one told me when I picked up or dropped off the rental that I would be charged for extra miles if the guess on the miles was wrong. The female employee at the Lynhurst and West Washington Street location was rude and insulting. My son said he could smell her. She needed to take a shower. I am being unfairly and Prejudicely charging $127 . I'm on disability and I'm contacting my attorney .

FRANTZ STo Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my formal dissatisfaction with the service Steve’s Flowers and Gifts received from U-Haul during the recent Valentine's Day holiday. As a florist in Indianapolis, we rely on pre-booked rentals to manage our peak delivery volume, yet our experience this year was highly problematic. Despite our reservations, the vehicles were not available at our designated pickup location. This forced our team to visit multiple sites to secure the necessary equipment, resulting in a significant loss of time and money during our busiest period of the year. Furthermore, we were recently contacted regarding "wrong location fees" for several returns. These vehicles were only returned to alternate locations because U-Haul failed to provide them at our primary, convenient location as originally scheduled. It is disappointing that after the logistical challenges and lost sales caused by these fulfillment errors, we are now being charged additional fees for a situation created by U-Haul’s inability to follow through on our booking. MATTHEW WFront door was told it didn’t work when I arrived and to come in the side door. No sign posted it was out of order. Also the door worked when I returned the product later that day. Employee smelled of marijuana strongly. Walk around the trailer indicated left turn/ brake light was out. No options of changing the bulb or changing trailers.

JANELLE BTHIS WAS ACTUALLY THE SECOND LOCATION, The first location was at 220 S. Belmont Indy IN 46222. This location had all kinds of issues #1 I was told he opened at 8am, nobody showed up until 8:30am. Then the computer wouldn't work, It was a Truck repair shop very dirty. However, the man there did get me hooked up with the men at the Washington St address. Those guys rocked walked right in and in a few minutes we were hooking trailer up. He took pics and checked lights etc and we were rolling!! I'd give these guys an A ++++ 1st guy a C-

PATRICIA GMake sure the customer has all equipment they need. We asked to rent a dolly and furniture dolly, but it wasn't added to the order. So just double check before completing transaction.

JOHN YYou should leave it as it is ,I rent a truck at least once a week sometimes more from this location ,you could retain records and shorten the pickup time for customers that rent weekly ,but this store always does great ,you have good people!!!
DAVID DThe equipment was pretty clean but I think it was just because it was a new unit. The service was top 3 worst establishments I’ve even walked into. First it smelled like sewage and to top off the customer service was even worse. I almost rather smell the sewage than talk to those people. They were rude with me and other customers. I will nooot go back there again.

STEVEN CFrom the moment I called on phone to pick up trailer to picking up trailer it was the most uncomfortable feeling. The gentleman helping definitely made it know I was a burden to his day. Customer service was horrible. Then I was told they will watch cameras to “look into situation” Will not be renting through U-Haul again.
QUINTON MFirst, the location only had 1 employee working. I'm positive that impacted the remainder of my bad experience. The clerk took almost 20 minutes to check out the individual head of me. During that time I heard the employee being very rude and short tempered with the customer. When it was my turn to check out my rental, the employee continued with his rude tone, comments, and behaviors. Several times just walking away completely, muttering obscenities. When I was done checking out, he told me he would come help me hook the trailer. I moved my truck around and positioned it by the trailer. Seeing as the employer had a line of 3 customers waiting behind me, I thought it would be helpful for me to hook up the trailer and have it ready for him to inspect. However, as I was finishing up connecting the trailer the employee came out screaming at me and being very aggressive that only he was aloud to hook up the trailer. I initially tried to explain that I understood he wanted to do the connection but I also saw he was busy; I was starting to explain that I was going to wait for him to inspect my connections (I have rented many many trailers from Uhaul and NEVER had this issue before) but he became even more aggressive and was cussing at me. I'm confident that if not for my large size, he would have continued to try and be verbally aggressive and would have continued with attempting to intimidate me.
JOHN MThe transaction went smoothly, but the woman at the front desk could have used some help. She was working alone, and the shop was fairly busy. We got there first thing in the morning, so maybe that was why the place was so busy.

BRYAN CI picked up the 10' truck around 4:30p. All I was doing was picking up a queen mattress. The attendant was very laid back and did not seem like he cared all that much to be there. He did not talk much and but helped me get out the door. I was told to fill the truck up to 7/8 of a tank when I brought the truck back. The truck only had 3/4 of a tank when I got in. Driving the location was fine. On the way back, the tire monitor system errored and a service tire monitor system message came up. Not an issue as the tires were fine. I got home and unloaded the mattress. I proceeded to take the truck back. I stopped and put $20.00 of gas in the tank. It filled the truck to between 3/4 and 7/8 of a tank. More gas than I started with. The biggest issue was when I arrived about 6:45p and the location closes at 7pm. The rented trucks and vans were backed up to the road entrance and I had no where to park. Luckily I got one of the smaller truck and was able to drive to the back using the outgoing traffic lane. I parked the truck, locked it and proceeded to turn in the truck. It was 6:53p. The front door was locked and I could not go in. I put had the key in the after hours key return. I with to the parking lot to get my car and the exit was blocked by the trucks. I would have been stuck there if I not find a way out where the trucks are usually parked before you rent them. That was not a exit from the lot. I did get a bill of $9.00 for 2 gallons of gas which I do not feel is just but it is only $9.00.
