Pricey when you add mileage so pricing is misleading. Also I rented a 10' truck. They did not have a 10' when I went to pick it up. I rented a van instead but had to make more than one trip as the van didn't fit all the pieces I was hauling, which caused me to incur more miles and was charged those extra miles. I don't think that was the right thing for uhaul to do. Other than that the service was fine.

You can have the equipment a customer reserves in stock to help facilitate their move better. It was frustrating to reserve a dolly and it not be available then be told by the MOD I could drive to other locations to see if they had it OR just get my truck from somewhere else. Why on earth would I drive to other locations in search of something I made a reservation for? Especially considering I had to pay mileage. Why didn't I receive a courtesy call saying the equipment was not in stock? Furthermore, anyone with a history of renting with U-Haul knows truck size availability is not guaranteed same day which is why a reservation is important. As a former resident of Indianapolis, this was the worst experience with U-Haul I ever had. P.S. If you have an out of town driver's license don't expect to use the mobile app to check out your truck. My reservation was at 7am and I had to wait until 9am when the location opened to pick it up because online verification denied my mobile pickup.

I went to go pick up my truck. They did not give the correct dolly. I could not work with the dolly they gave me to do the job. I returned the truck without using it. They would not give me all my money back. I got ripped off. I put in for a complaint and they had the same person that was at that shop call me and inform me that they could refund me for the gas but not the miles. Originally they only gave the money back for the cost of the truck and the incorrect dolly. Very , very disappointed overall. I should get all my money back. Very unprofessional. I will not be coming back. My order was transferred to different locations and it was not transferred correctly and I was not told that my pickup location did not have the correct dolly.

I booked my uhaul at the Brownsburg Ace hardware store and got a call an hour before I was supposed to pick up the truck telling me that it is not available and has not been returned yet. They did find another location for me to pick up a truck but in doing so, they transferred all responsibility over to the other location without taking accountability for this issue. This was a very bad customer experience. Moving is stressful enough, so getting a call an hour before I am supposed to get the truck and have hired movers ready to go is not acceptable. The owner of the Indianapolis location was very nice and helpful. I would recommend that location over Brownsburg any day!

Customer service was terrible. The truck brakes were very bad the overall truck was dirty and in need of maintenance. Was charged more for products then list prices. That was very upsetting

Appointment for pick up was 8am. When I got there at 8 nobody was there and my U-Haul app said no truck had been assigned. I had to wait until 9:15 until someone let me in. The guy was very rude and mad that I was there right at opening time. Truck was not completely full But he still marked it full and didn’t even look. Complete asshole and will never use this location again.

I was given the wrong truck. You looked over it said it was fine and that since it was a mistake by uhaul I would not be held responsible. I have now been charged an enormous fee because my actual assigned truck went to a different location. I am furious. I need those charges reversed immediately.

We had an awful experience with Uhaul. First our original date/time for truck pickup was canceled due to unreturned trucks. We were not notified this could be a possibility and upon arriving to the location we were given $50 as compensation and a 1-800 number. Basically told there was nothing Uhaul could do to help us. We waited on hold for a half an hour with the 1-800 number which was not helpful. Finally we spoke with a local store and they were able to help us find a truck for moving, however the time and date were different. Upon returning our truck the employees were very rude and basically gave us the run around on how to return a truck after hours which then resulted with us being on hold again. Over the weekend in total we spent 3 hours on hold trying to speak with a representative. We did not feel like a valued customers this weekend and we will not using this service again.
