I have used this location 3 times in the last year. The customer service was very poor. The employees were either on ther personal phone or had someone in the store for personal reasons. There was no friendly greetings, no customer eye to eye contact, or willingness to make sure needs were met. All 3 visits I felt I was more an inconvenience more than a paying customer.

The box part smelled bad (urine smell) we had to spray it with Lysol. The motor latch we broken and let motor heat into cab. I did not get the blankets I ordered and was told they were already in the truck but that was not the case. I should have verified but was in a hurry. The truck ran well though. It was good on fuel and the guy at the store was super, very nice and was quick to help us.

1. At first, I was told that there were no packing blankets..... I had ordered 24. 2. I hooked up to the 10x12 trailer and during my pre-trip (I'm a pro truck driver), I noticed that the trailer license plate had expired in FEBRUARY. How many times had that trailer been "inspected" since February? Luckily, there was a 2nd 10x12 trailer for me to take that was in great condition.

Truck smelled like a moldy basement to the point my allergies forced me to roll window down. Was like driving a potato wagon. On return I mentioned it and person behind counter said I wash them out . I responded with well it stinks. He looked at another customer and said "I have to deal with this everyday" He assured me receipt would be Emailed when I asked for a hard copy. Did not get receipt Email.

I made an online reservation early in the day on Sept 15th to get a truck at a different location and printed out my confirmation. When I arrived at the location I was told that the truck wasn't available because it was already reserved but wasn't picked up yet. The other reservation was for 8am and they were 2 hours late to pick it up. Had to wait around 5 hours to get a smaller truck at this location. I used this location 2 weekends in a row back to back same day even I rented same size truck and went same distance about the same time as well. My point is I got charged less the first time than the 2nd time. Gas mileage was cheaper first time too. So if I placed the order twice but different days then why so much charged. Either some one was roping me off or someone didn't know what that they were doing?!!!!!!

I rent trucks and trailers several times per year. This Uhaul location does a great job of getting me in and out with the equipment. They were so busy this last time when I was there that there was almost no room to pull into the lot. With all those people waiting in line I assumed that I would be there for an hour. Rashay and her guys run a good operation and I was out of there in 15 minutes. Check in was just 5 minutes to unhook the trailer and I was out of there again. I highly recommend this store.

I was over charged multiple times on my card bleeding out my account. Leaving both myself and my wife stranded miles away from our home. Staying in a Wal-Mart parking lot with $4 dollars to our name and no one from U-Haul gives a damn or will help expedite the redunds. Awesome customer service.

I had rented a car carrier on my lunch break to move a car that evening for my daughter. She informed me about 2:30pm that she would not be needing me to do this. I returned the car carrier promptly and asked the receiving person that if any credit could be given due to the short period of time I had it out and the circumstances, it would be greatly appreciated. No consideration was given. The car carrier was in as good of condition as it could be given the age.

I dropped the vehicle off after hours. I was asked to park under the awning a drop the keys in the drop box. After I did that, I saw another sign off to the side talking about after hours check in online. Issue was that the site asks you to provide a picture of the odometer and gas guage. Suggest posting the sign closer to the drop box. No real issue. I have used the folks at Lyndhurst several times this past year or so and they do a great job so I was not particularly concerned about just dropping off the keys and letting them handle the particulars of the check in. Thanks.

First off i rented the truck and the mileage was wrong so i took my paperwork back in there and the lady wrote the mileage on the paperwork and initialed it and then they charged me for 113 miles when i only went maybe 10 miles and the lady that signed my paper don't remember anything and then the truck leaked and ruined my son's brand new mattress and my daughter's brand new karokee machine

The trailer had its wiring harness removed, the employee had to get it from another trailer. This location was way out of my way. It cost me over 3 hours of additional drive time. My original reservation was for Southern Plaza. This is a much more convenient location for me. I was annoyed that my reservation had to be changed.

I reserved a truck for 9-1-18. After I went to picked it up and checked out the truck the employee came out and asked if it was a one way order. And of course I said yes because that is what I thought was ordered. He informed me that it would cost MORE for the one way. So we proceeded inside and had to redo the order. Wasting time i didn’t have. Evidently the guy didn’t know much about what he was doing. The lady working took over and told me that a one way truck would cost $200. I got upset with that and asked why because I’ve used UHaul several times and I have never ever paid that amount no matter what. I did a one way move in December of 2017 and it cost about $100, plus whatever gas I put in there. She informed me that i would have to bring it back to that location. I said “if I have to bring it all the way back here, then I shouldn’t have to replace the gasoline”. I was going from Danville, Indiana to Acton, Indiana, 40 mile drive. I had to take an empty truck back to the Lynhurst and Washington St location when I was done with it, when i should have been able to drop it off at the Irvington Plaza location. NO MATTER what the UHAUL policy is. I was treated like i was trying to get over on someone. You guys made the mistake, not me.That was stupid for me to have to do. And I should be reimbursed $50 for the gas. I WANT MY $50 for gas reimbursed. Just like anyone else, I don’t like being screwed over, period.

MAJOR ISSUE: There was a loose battery cable! Truck would not start at one point. Lost two hours waiting for maintenance. I had to personally open the hood several times and "jiggle" the battery cable to get the truck to start again. Not only was this extremely inconvenient, but it was also dangerous for me.
