The young gentleman I worked with was not only professional and knowledgeable, but candid, caring, and empathetic. His wisdom is way beyond his years, and you need to promote and retain the representative who walked me through the process of renting a U-Haul trailer in Middletown. I'd be open to speaking to management about this young gentleman and my experience, how he thought outside the box and made sure that my daughter's college drop-off experience was not hindered by U-Haul or my lack of preparation. Retain and promote that young man, or he'll start a business of his own one day.

Alex SThe truck had issues with the transmission sticking and the brakes becoming extremely hard to depress. I had to move items from storage that is a 100 miles away and travel on highways. These issues were not only scary, but dangerous as well. I reported it to the u haul location and they told me they had 5 other vehicles down at this time and no one was fixing them, he couldn’t afford another truck out of service. I felt I didn’t receive the quality of product I expected and safety should be number 1.. that all said, the owner and workers are pleasant and the truck itself was clean with a great AC which we needed as it was 90 degrees out.

PETER CTrucks were in terrible condition. Was charged 6 gallons of gas for driving 12 miles. Trucks only get 2 miles per gallon??
PETER COrdered a 15ft truck. The user before me did not return the keys. It was discussed that they had not even called the guy for the keys till I got there to pick up the truck. I had to wait 40 min to get the keys as one of the employees went to pick up them from the last user. There was no dolly on site period, dissipate me reserving one online. Then the ramp to the 15ft truck was broken... the attachment to make it flush with the box truck was broken...had to wait for the service guy to come out. Time line.. I pushed back my pickup from 7 to 10 due to a flat tire 10am arive for pickup, there are no keys or like truck on site. 10:40am swipe my card for the hold and get keys By 11-11:15 call and put in service request online for the ramp 12:52... get the callback that the guy should be there in an hour. Thankfully the service gent was about 30 min early, does his thing and pops off in about 15 min with the quick fix being dont pull the ramp out all the way. The only positive was that the manager gave us weekday rates vs weekend rates for my troubles.

Frank SI started using them again after many years of thinking I was getting a better deal at home depot. Well, lucky for me, my reservation was M.I.A when i went to pick up the Van.I reserved at home depot and they didn't have one for me or my reservation. U haul not only saved the day but saved me quite a bit of money. I have used them twice in the last three weeks and will be using them again in two weeks from now..

Mark RGas tank marker is a pain in the neck. we can't get it right to bring the needle to the exact location at the rental time. Why can't you keep the tank full and request customer to give back full? this way, 90% of the time tank if full and rarely UHUAL employees have to fill it just in case when customer doesn't have time to do it themselves.

owen MYou over charged me for gas. I replace gas prior to returning it. It wasn’t a full tank to begin with. I drive kicks and out gas and returned it where the line was at. But still was charged gif gas. Not acceptable.

James GI was there for an over an hour trying to drop off a vehicle that I was apparently not supposed to have. This was due to no fault on mine or the middletown location. The team there did everything they could as quickly as they could, it's just the name of the game with the uhaul process.
Christine MI am completely satisfied with my entire U Haul experience. From booking online, to picking up the vehicle, to the space l needed in the vehicle, to the Movers l hired through U Haul, to the return of the Vehicle.

PETER AVery friendly and polite. Helpful as always. I love doing business with them. My only complaint is that I wish they would at least give a 5 mile leeway to get to where you are going. I spend more miles trying to get home with the truck then otherwise. I know its company rules but maybe the company can give at least 5 miles for people. Nothing against anyone at all. No problems at all. Customer service is fantastic.
DAWNMARIE DWindshield was filthy, the back door has extremely hard to close. I wasn't happy that I needed to remove the hand truck that I didn't use because I needed the room to pack all the stuff I had.
