The only issue was that the deck of the trailer was loaded with ice & snow when I arrived and myself along with one of the employees had to shovel it together in order for it to be safely usable to carry a vehicle.

KATRELL AConsider allowing additional miles. I rented a truck from Middletown to Stamford, CT. I was only allowed 91 miles. I was charged $16.00 for an extra 16 miles. I used some of those extra 16 miles to go from Middletown u-haul to my home and from my daughter’s home to Stamford u-haul.
RICHARD OVery disappointing customer service. From the moment I arrived, the person assisting me was rude and unwelcoming. He did not say hello and was very curt when I asked simple questions. He only told me to leave the truck and that I could go. After parking the truck, I accidentally walked away with the keys in my pocket. Less than five seconds later, he yelled at me in front of other customers: “THE KEYS! THE KEYS! GOD MAN, YOU ARE KILLING ME!” I chose not to respond or escalate the situation because I was accompanied and there were other people nearby. I simply handed him the keys and left. Later, I noticed I was charged a few extra dollars for gasoline, even though I returned the truck at the same fuel level. I am not going to dispute the charge, but it felt unfair and possibly retaliatory given the interaction. This happened on Wednesday, December 30th, around 3:00 PM. I don't know his name. I hope i don't met him next time I do not recommend this location if this individual is attending customers. Professionalism and basic courtesy were completely lacking.

chris dYou rented me a truck that was not safe to drive the breaks went and I was unable to stop while driving, had a hard time trying to stop at a light and was rolling into traffic. When I dropped it off we spoke to a gentleman and let him know he checked it and sure enough breaks didn’t work. So they still charged me full price for a vehicle that should of never been rented out..
