The vehicle left big oil stains at both locations and the two day rental was not a full 2 days. Will not recommend.

My trailer didn’t have a lift crank so it was very heavy and difficult to remove from truck. Employees saw me pulling into drop off at 7:02 i was fully aware that they close at 7:00 no help at all just waved. Hurt my back lifting trailer no direction on how to remove chains noting. Not impressed at all.

The truck I rented was awful. It had little over 1/4 of gas in it, it was falling apart. It had an odd smell. The driver side floor was peeling up near the gas pedal and kept catching my foot. The driver door seal kept falling off every time I opened the door. It shifted clunky. I did not request a standard dolly or moving blankets but guess what!? They were bolted into the box and if I tried to remove them to get the space back I paid for I would be charged for breaking the stupid green tags. I didn't even use the thing for the full 24 hours, I was below the 60 miles i thought I would use but wasn't credited anything back. I have rented from U-Haul many times over the years and this truck was the worst experience I have had. The worst part is I am going to probably have to rent another truck this coming weekend to finish what I didn't get done this weekend and I am already dreading getting another shitty truck that will snag my shoes when trying to drive making it a hazard and having to deal with a door seal constantly falling off every time I opened the door. I would have ripped it off all the way and be done with it myself but, would probably be charged for destruction of an already beat up smell piece of junk.

I reserved a 10-foot truck and hand truck and moving blankets. The add-ons were not in the truck when we picked it up; we had to point this out to the employee. The truck itself had over 163,000 miles on it. The sun visors had been damaged and wouldn't stay where we put them. We couldn't get the air conditioning to work. We had an alert on the dash that the right rear tire was low on pressure, and we stopped to fill it, but the alert was still there. The truck is in marginal condition.

The truck was on empty in gas when I picked it up . It had a message alerting me that 14miles remained as soon as driving out the parking lot . As far as all my experiences with U-Haul I had never dealt with this situation. Of course with all that I had going on with my move I forgot to take a picture to “prove” this but I would really suggest not to provide costumers trucks with empty gas tanks .

My van drove well. However it was very dirty. It was difficult to see out the windshield in the afternoon sun. I needed to take it to a car wash and washed it myself.

The first truck had a check engine light, the second we physically could not fill with fuel the normal way, or it would spray gas out and had less gas than it should have according to staff. We did not have confidence that a 3rd truck would be in good condition so stuck with the 2nd truck.

I didn’t like the way they treated me at 2012 mchenery ave location. I went in to rent out a 20ft truck and a dolly, but I was told they didn’t have any more. So they wanted to give me the 26 which I said I would come back because I had to discuss with my husband. I went outside to make the call and when I went back inside they said they no longer had it available. So they searched up in the computer and no near by location had any available either. The closest one was in Manteca, CA so I said that’s fine. They even wanted to charge me like 300 just to add the tow dolly. When It was previously 79. When I got home 3mins away, someone from customer service called me and told me they no longer had the one in Manteca and that the reservation wasn’t valid. So she tried to send me to ELK grove to pick one up. My husband called and they gave him a truck with no hesitation and a tow dolly at 4131 mchenery ave location. which the dolly turned to be only 79 for him. I felt like this was a sexes thing. I would recommend you talk to your employees I felt very upset. I didn’t catch the guys name but 1 of them worked both location Friday at the 2012 mchenery ave location and Saturday at the 4131 mchenery ave location.

We rented it to move from California to Georgia. The check engine light came on. We contacted uhaul and they it was fine unless it starts blinking. It started blinking a dew days later and we were told to pull over. After a while they told us to keep driving. We then had rain and the cab leaked water the whole time it rained. Needless to say this was unacceptable after paying 6 grand.
