Absolutely horrendous customer experience. I was lied to by multiple service reps. I was overcharged for miles not driven. I've called for help 7 times, have been told I would hear from someone within 3 days, 4 times, and have never heard from anyone. Horrible company. You don't care about your users or brand reputation. I will never use you again and be a strong advocate against your brand image. Poorly done... What you can do to improve? Care about your customer. Profits matter, customer experience matters more. Pick what you care about. My experience showed you care about profits, scamming customers, and ensuring a poor experience. You are nothing without your customers, remember that...

Everything actually went pretty well, especially the check-in...but the wait to get the equipment was VERY long. For a Saturday you would think there would be more staff there - I had an appointment at 11:30am, arrived at about 11:32 - and didn't get to talk to anyone until 11:50. 20 minutes in line doing nothing when I have a reservation seems excessive to me. The equipment was good, the return was especially smooth, but that wait...and unfortunately, I was expecting it (but hoping for something better) because I have had the same experience there before trying to get propane. Slow as molasses...

I had reserved a pack of 12 furniture blankets. The representative mentioned while I was checking in. He had me meet him at the trailer, I thought that while I was getting my truck he had put them in the trailer. When I got home I realized that wasnt the case. I had to call in to get them refunded and had to stop at another Uhaul location to get some. I was also not able to drop those off at the original location. So I'll have to return those at the second location again tomorrow too. Pretty inconvenient.

Check in and check out was clunky, no one at the desk when I returned the truck, as finally just told by a busy employee to leave the truck parked with the keys still in.

After hours drop off, but I did call in to ask questions about it. The lady helped on the phone. Was okay, but had lots of trouble with getting info in the app. Still had a sour taste from the whole pickup process.

Joseph was a real g, he swapped the kinda dirty van we were gonna get for a cleaner one with a rubber mat because we were moving furniture and other things we wanted to keep clean.

This was probably the smoothest U-Haul rental experience I've ever had. Everyone was great, the van was almost brand new, and everything (van and store) was clean. It was nice.

The Tooele location is great! Zero issues. The two locations in Salt Lake City and Murry, were AWFUL! The SLC location said they didn't have a one-way truck (I thought that was the whole Uhaul business model!), sonthey supposedly reserved us a truck at the Murray location. So we were sent there, spent a good 45 minutes at that sketchy place trying to get our truck, just to be told they couldn't help us. So then Uhaul customer service sent us back to the first location- where new they magically had a one-way truck for us to rent. It waster 90 minutes of our time, and ultimately made us have to drive it in rush hour when we specificity had gone earlier in the day to avoid rush hour traffic. It was an absolute nightmare! And all of the above made a two-hour start to finish transaction, take FIVE HOURS! Never again will we ever use either Uhaul location in SLC or Murray!!!

Was charged an entire extra day even though U-Haul was returned on the day specified. No one informed us that we had to return it by a specific time or we would be charged for an additional day. If we had been informed we would have done that.

There were two employees working the counter. Joseph was working with me and he continually stopped our conversation and started helping the customer at the other counter who was alreay being helped by the other employee. That's not good customer service.

They are thieves they stole a lot of money from me they said 85 dollars and they charged me over 150 and there attitude is terrible they never explained to me the details of anything just gave me the keys and said 85.

They forgot to give us the dolly that we paid for but they did refund us for it when we returned the Uhaul.

No complaints, staff were incredibly helpful and very nice. This isn’t the closest location to me but I would use them again. I feel bad I didn’t get names bur the cute young ladies that checked me out were awesome as was the young man who checked me back in. If you know who they are please thank them and tell them lady in the grey Tundra was very appreciative of their great help, I be back I always need a trailer for moving things about.

I still have not received communication regarding the breaking of my tail light. I ended up purchasing different wiring because of this. I did receive wiring but it was incorrect.

It would be nice for them to make sure it was possible to get into the parking lot safely to drop off a vehicle even after hours. They are on an EXTREMELY busy main road. The side street is less busy but people can park in a way that makes impossible to get into the lot from the side entrance. Because other road IS so busy, it's also divided. Driving a moving truck is already stressful and often exhausting. Dealing with trying to flip a u-turn on a busy street or trying to figure out how to get to a place where you can then travel the correct way to come into the lot from the main road just to drop off the truck is adding insult to injury.

The truck didn't fill till full and we got charged for gas we shouldn't have had to pay for. Also we got charged for an after hours fee and I dont know what that what was for.

I was over charged $197.40 when I call that location they refuse to help me with the over charges. They said it would drop off that the charges are just pending but they have been taken out of my bank and the location refuses to refund the over payment

I took pictures of the fuel gauge when I got in the truck. That tank was not full. So when I “filled” it up when finished, I filled it up more than what I used, but not all the way to full because it was not full upon receipt. Then I got a fuel charge of $11 on my bill. Play fair! There’s no way the 9 miles I took it ate more than the two gallons of gas I put in. And all the other fees. Environmental fee? License recovery fee? Pretty sure you’re just making up stuff now. I’ve rented from you twice and the bill is always 30% more than I expected.

In the last five years, I have rent a couple times trailers and trucks from this location. The staff used to be very friendly, but early this morning I was serviced by a young girl that has a lot of attitude, a little pass, but at the moment that I was given the trailer, she hooked it up. Everything was great, but I was asking questions and she just turned around and walk away. Very disrespectful for Customer Service.

The reason I gave below average rating is because I coordinated a pickup truck with the Pendeltons Towing & Recovery, and surprisingly the truck I reserved was not available when I went to pick it up. They have to transfer my order to another location that made me loose an hour.

If I am told that there is a FULL tank of Gas, there should have been! I filled it back up so it IS FULL now! (Sorry, they do not reimburse if you actually fill ot back up) I had originally ordered a 26ft truck and ended up with 20ft. Waited 30min to get start my rental. Why? I had to go find someone to get my rental to begin with. And the truck was not cleaned when it was picked up. Not working with this location again.

The location and everyone working there are amazing and super helpful. That being said, the trailer I rented had electrical tape wrapped all around the wiring harness and the coupler was broken. These issues damaged my hitch. There was no effort made to mitigate these issues when I left with the trailer, and even less effort in checking in about how the rental went or the condition of the trailer when I dropped it off.
