Horrible staff. Extremely incompetent. RUDE is an understatement. I wouldn’t expect such low class people from a well established company like UHaul. We are very disappointed and will never return to this location.

While in Miami, I made several trips to this location to purchase packing materials. My experience each time was subpar!! While the helpful employee there was in the minority, most were indifferent to my presence as a customer. Walking into the store, I received no greeting and walking up to the counter, the same! I purposefully waited at the counter without speaking; I wanted to see how long it took one of your employees to say, “May I help you?” You need a “manager” there and if you have one, s/he needs training in customer service. On the day I picked up the trailer, there was severe dysfunction between the woman at the front desk and lot attendant. They were not communicating with each other and appeared to be angry - not something for your customers to see!! You need to send someone from middle management to observe this operation.

OMAR BI rented an 8 foot enclosed trailer… There was something wrong with the left front tire, which caused it to wobble and shake not only the trailer and my truck at low speeds. I called the U-Haul store in North Miami and was told I could not drop this trailer off at my final destination. I was also told I needed to return the trailer to its original location.this made no sense due to. It was a hazard to myself and other drivers on the highway. I am not sure I would use U-Haul again.

Gerard MThe overall experience was terrible. The back if the truck (cargo area) smelled like the previous renter transported rotten meat or something of that nature, the smell was almost unbearable. Eventually the intensity of the smell decreased by using Febreze and leaving the rolling door open. The truck cabin had many ants all over the door panel, door frame and driver's seat. I had to use ant spray to be able to drive the truck. Also, the floor was very dirty and sticky. Lastly, I drove it for a few miles and the exterior rear tire on the passenger side blew up. This tire should have checked and replaced before renting the vehicle. I contacted U-haul for assistance to change the tire, and the service was prompt and efficient. I also contacted customer service to notify them of the issue with the ants and odor. The representative opened a ticket and mentioned the store general manager will be contacting me by Wednesday. I hope the general manger makes it right.
ALEJANDRO GWhen we got to the return location and got hit with the huge fee because they switched vehicles. They didn't care and we still had to pay almost $200 for that mistake and they overcharged on mileage. We go 89 miles and the said we drove over over 100 which was not accurate. Nightmare-- NEVER AGAIN

He gave me ice cold water help me do something he wasn’t supposed to you hooked everything up super polite, super helpful very compassionate cannot rave about him more. I don’t know what his name is. He is absolutely fantastic. Much appreciated young young dog head very very thoughtful
REGINALD BThis is my local U-Haul and I’ve been renting trucks for atleast 15 years. This was the first time I encountered an employee who just said “our system is down” repeatedly without any solutions/alternatives. It wasn’t until another employee asked if I had a reservation and was able to complete my reservation. Highly disappointed.
ROLYN Awhen we went to drop it off 10 minutes before closing the lady inside locked the door when she saw us drive up and refused to open the door and take the truck back
VIVIANA GOnly 2 reason I gave it a 1 star. One is because the guy behind the counter told me and my son that they close at 7pm and if we didn’t get the truck back by then I will be charge an additional day. (Friday) only to rush back at 6:56 for another shift to tell me they close at 8pm. I was pissed and to make matters worst before that even happen the breaks had air in them I had to push the brakes all the way down to stop. My son was too scared to drive so I drove for him because I knew I had a time limit. Other than that the staff was very nice. Just need to be trained in store hours. And keep up with the maintenance of there vehicles. It is completely unsafe .

JOHN HWas charged for 2 extra fees that weren't disclosed upon rental. An employee at the Miami location charged me to unload my vehicle from the transplant I was charged $20 after dropping off the truck, even though I cleaned the truck and overfilled the gas level. Disappointed

SHA QBe truthful, because yesterday i did rented a cargo van from 12:06 pm from this address in Miami 12865 NW 7ave to go to Plantation fl wich suppose to be a 25mns ride ,when i returned the cargo van they stated i that i have run 82miles wich was false,should be 36 mil in total back in forth

KLEMENS KI was racially profiled at this particular location by stuff members. After I presented my active reservation (for equipment), my state issued ID (compliant with REAL ID act) they kept asking me more forms of identification. I presented several (more then one) premium credit cards with my name, like AMEX platinum; furthermore, just in front of me in the line was another person with JUST one id and without even providing a reservation or any other documents was able to obtain a rental equipment (they were paying cash, no even credit cards) and I did overhear the conversation where the clerk pointed out that they only have one form of ID and nothing else, but they smiled to each other and did the rental. The only difference between the other customer and me was the customer AND the clerk were African American. I am caucasian. The worst possible service. (I am frequent uHaul customer and rent equipment quite often, but in different locations)
TIGRAN AUpon returning the rental to this property I was never told about a charge for wrong drop off location and was told that it has to be a local return yet it was returned to a location within the same county. My last move I returned the truck to a different location and wasn’t charged for wrong drop off location. This charge is absurd because I was never told about this or I would’ve returned it to its original location. I dropped off key through drop off window early morning and decided to stay until location opened just to meet with an associate in case there was any discrepancies or any issues with additional costs and was never told anything about wrong drop offs. I’d like to speak to higher management about this issue. Thank you

GUZMAN BI paid for a 15 ft truck more than a week before my move. At this time the truck was available. The day of the move I went to pick up the truck there was no truck available. I had already blocked my movers half way when after 20 minutes I was directed to another Uhaul location to pick up the truck. It was way further away and I occurred more mileage, I was late bringing the truck to the mover appointment and spent more gas. At the end I was not reimbursed $50 for not finding the truck ready to go. I contacted Uhaul but haven’t yet received a response. This is a lacking service and the many times I used Uhaul it’s the first time I did not find my truck at the location I booked. I am definitely not happy with the service I received at the booked location. I also wasn’t advised via txt nor phone call that there was no truck available for my booking. So I am waiting to get a reimbursement for this matter before I put a bad review on your website.

OSCAR V5 out of 10 invoices are wrong. They always overcharge me. One of the truck is infested with roaches, I been letting them know for over 6 months, they still didn't do anything about it
YASMANI BI was told when I arrived at 8am that my 7am reservation was cancelled because I was more than 30 mins late and the trailer was already rented. We have rented from U-haul numerous times and have always been told that we can pick it up any time. Thankfully another trailer was available, but if this is U-hauls policy it has to change, and if this is only a single location doing this then they need educated. Moving is too unpredictable for something like this and a reservation is to make sure it is there when you get there. Otherwise this location was great.

After a very poor experience renting a van at another location where I was charged fees that we never expressed or explained, the experience at this location was totally different.
