This rental exceeded my expectations in every way. The order was placed seemlessly. I had a to tow a new boat for over 70 miles and the rate I was given was not exceptional but understood and explained correctly. I arrived and the pickup truck was exactly as described and BRAND NEW, wow. The hitch was ready, not like I have experienced elsewhere. It performed flawlessly and accepted my return in drop box and followed up volunteerily lower the price of the rental to put me on a reduced program. This is a first rate, well run outfit. HIghly recommend.

CHRISTOPHER BI returned the truck with the fuel at the level it was rented to me and was still charged for $22 worth of gas. The individual I called claimed they could not provide a picture of the fuel gauge unless I drove back to the rental location. I’ve rented several times from this location but will not be returning.
ROBERT SLived in Palatine for 28 years and a Senior Citizen. I have used U Haul multiple times & with my family multiple times.Never an issue.Now this shop is padding extra miles just because the customer is gullible and gets taken.I received one email on 3/26 from them - I heard nothing about checking odometer & rented multiple cars before without being scammed by miles by multiple rental companies.This is a first for me. I’m appalled that a large corporation has to stoop to this because of carelessness by these employees and zero respect to the regular customer. Drove to the airport and back to a friends property.Who will swear on that and I stayed there picking up furniture for a few hours back to Palatine. Approx 40 miles TOTAL.Checked my Amx bill and charged 190 miles!! Complained to both this Michael guy who did the paperwork in/out himself and literally blamed me the Customer!! For the error and said Jesse the manager would call me the next day ( today ) which he did not have the courtesy to do.So I called him and got totally rude careless attitude to me.Maybe it’s not his mistake but we are all in business of some kind and personally I know if a customer is telling me the truth or not.I personally will refund a repeat customer for sure as I don’t want to upset the customer and want them and their family back & good reviews from them. But Jessie said he’s heard this before and will do nothing to resolve.Not a lot of money BUT customers do no not want to overpay since they the customer did not do “ Their Job” ? And trust the rental company.I would not recommend this to any anybody.Poor customer service and zero about counting my miles?? Like that’s my job? NO I actually trusted you UHaul to be up front and you over billed me.

NATALIE MHad a few issues. The return address that I was told and provided upon pick up was different than where I had to drop off… I was not told until I called to return the truck that afternoon and was not notified prior to that. I had to drive to two different locations to return the truck. I was also not fully explained on the gas refueling process and filled more gas than needed on the return as well.

Blaine MWindshield solvent was bone dry, windshield was not clean and could not get it clean while driving. It was like looking through fog created unsafe conditions against sun. It's important to have windshield solvent tank filled for customers safety...
ALI URental trucks are clean and well maintained, checkout and check in process is efficient; staff is courteous, knows its repeat customers and provides extraordinary CS. Definitely will rent here again!!

NICHOLAS ZI reserved this truck online the day before picking it up - to save time the next morning, as the office wouldn’t be open until 9 AM. When I went to pick the truck up, I had to spend an additional 50+ minutes and two phone calls to finally release the keys so that I could finally leave. I will NEVER use UHaul again.

OLEKSANDR KI was renting this trailer to move an 8' couch. The description online says the inside dimension was 8'8". I thought it was a bit odd because it's a 5x8 trailer. Unfortunately, the inside dimension was NOT 8'8" and the couch didn't fit... I couldn't close the door. I will think twice about renting from uhaul if I need to rely on the accuracy of your website. You NEED to update your website.
