JUSTIN WThe fuel at pick up was recorded wrong. I put 25 miles total on truck and put 4 gallons in and was still charged an additional $10 for 2 more gallons on top of that?? So, apparently the 20ft truck only gets 4 miles to the gallon? Would have been nice to inform customers on such poor gas millage. Also, cab smelled strongly of cannibus. Would not go back to this location.

KENETH TFirst some of the customer service team at the store are very rude when talking to them on them phone second please put some air freshener in the truck or van because the truck I had smelled like pee and it was horrendous and we drove with the windows open

Cory HThe check in process was curt and dismissive. All they were concerned about was whether the gas tank was full and they wouldn't review the condition of the truck while I was there, but insisted I leave and get an email within 10 minutes. Not a very comforting customer service experience.

John REmployee forgot to provide code for padlock, didn’t answer store phone. Had to return to the store and he knew he didn’t provide the code but made no attempt to contact me. Drivers side door sticks, whole vehicle in rough shape. Unclear return instructions
AMY DThey were super busy but still have great service. Odell was also helping a coworker while helping me and other customers. They literally ran to get things done so customers would get taken care of. I really appreciated it.

PETER FThe engine light kept going on and off.The truck was acting like the alternator or something was messing up.Did have to call u.H road service because of the box truck would not start. This was the first time This has happened.
VENUS HCustomer service was good but the truck was filthy. There was left over snacks, dirt and stickyness.
FHONDA CI filled the gas back up to when I rented it and I still got charge a fee for not filling up the gas. I called to get it sorted out and nothing was done. Last time I use Uhaul if they are going to be scamming people.
MIGUEL DThis store is chronically understaffed. There is always a long wait; usually only one person working. I gave them one more chance and they disappointed. The store manager was about 30 minutes late coming to open the store. No apologies...nothing when she arrived. The only bright spot was the employee [I think his name was Lee] who stood outside with us in front of the store letting customers know that she was running 10 minutes late (for 20 -30 minutes). He was kind and professional and definitely deserves to be recognized.
ANDREA TWe always get a warm welcome from Angie every Saturday when we pick up the truck. We are very pleased with the services at this location.
Anupma SHalf of the trailers had the doors open and obviously had people sleeping in the back of the trailers. Dirty clothes and human feces on the lot on the ground right next to the open trailers. The store didn’t have a the lights on and the store was in disarray. Lots of random stuff all over the store. Myself and a couple of other customers had to wait for over an hour to get hooked up to our rented trailer. They couldn’t find them and another customer had to return a freshly rented truck due to it not working properly. The trailer I was given had a fender all smashed in and the trailer had a short in the brake wires so I kept blowing a 15 amp fuse in my truck the whole trip. Clean up and organize the store and the lot. Hire staff that care about the business and know what’s going on.

JOSEPH WThey never gave me the code to the uhaul trailer so when I got to the destination I couldn't load anything ! The usual was already closed by the time I arrived
MASON MThe place was not well or strategically laid out (inside the building or outside in the parking lot). It seemed like the staff didn't have the experience/know-how to be doing everything in an effective manner. I had to wait an hour until I finally got my truck rental. Longest wait I've had at a U-haul ever in all my years of using U-haul.
KYLE FEverything went well but they appeared to be understaffed for a Saturday morning, the line extended out by the door. The staff did their best but did seem a little overwhelmed. Also I never received the email that I returned the trailer.
NATHAN LVan easy on gas 2 wheeler strap didn't seem to secure but worked I do it again i suppose have 4 hrs Fri back by 5 came back sun 9 another lady call later follow up about van that I got I still need extra day shop was ok w that that was nice tell him screw up I had public storage he worked a deal for nice job because that I would recommend 👍public storage how nobody to help answer like calling 800 who cares

PAUL CThe dedicated covered hook up section with someone already there ready to help was excellent service. I've been to locations where it took a while for someone to come help. There were also multiple service members at the desk to greet and help, that made the experience the best.

BENJAMIN EWhen I rented the truck the guy asked me if I needed the lock on it. I said no so he took it. When I returned the truck, a new guy asked me where the lock was. I said the first guy took it. He didn’t believe me and I didn’t know how I could convince him so he charged me $20. I am unhappy about this.
Carl YI am not sure I will use U-Haul again. First, I rented it from one location and it was switched at the last minute to a location in an unsafe part of town that would not allow me to park my car there. Then when I checked the van out I was told there was 1/3 of a tank of gas (about 8 gallons) but it was, in fact, on empty and I ran out of gas. When I called U-Haul for roadside assistance I was told it was a 2-hour wait. Finally, when I was trying to reach out to U-Haul with these issues the many transfers and delays were maddening.
ERIK NFirst van I was offered had burnt foil in the side doors meaning somebody was using drugs in the van. When I asked to change it they acted like I was an ass hole for requesting a different vehicle. I got a different vehicle but the only caveat this place has is that it’s close to rent vehicles.
Patric vTook me an HOUR to get the rental truck due to issues with desk staff getting me checked in. Cost me an extra $170.00 for moving labor overage as a result! Also, the 26' truck needs to get its suspension checked - it beat the sh** out of me and my stuff on the drive down to Dallas!! I have NEVER been beat up like that in the no-less-than 30 moving trucks of all sizes, including 26' in my life!! I also reserved a dolly and 30+ blankets, only to be told they only had 12! So I didn't have enough - another reason my things got damaged. I made the reservation quite some time in advance, too. I will use Penske instead from this point further. AWFUL experience!

Joshua PThere was a bit of a challenge with my originally assigned truck being blocked in with other trucks . The young man working in the lot was very pleasant helping resolve the issue, and the woman working inside took pictures of all the trucks to help avoid the issue for future rentals. I was VERY grateful for the help given we were experiencing EXTREME heat that day.

NICOLE AWhen I arrived, the employee helping me with the checkout did not do a walkthrough of the vehicle. I was about to drive off, but then I decided to stop and look at the back of the vehicle and noticed a padlock on the back door. I was not given a key to this padlock, so I almost drove off with a vehicle that I could not unlock. It took an employee 20 minutes to find a key to this padlock before I could leave with my rental. In addition to this, there were several people roaming around the parked vehicles in the parking lot and a man inside the vehicle behind mind and had appeared to be sleeping or living in it overnight. Overall, I am very disappointed with the safety and security of this location and how the employee helping me did not give me all the keys for my vehicle. I will not return to this location and may never consider renting a u haul truck again

Markeith BI received a larger truck that I ordered, which is very difficult for navigating urban streets. I also received the truck with an eighth of a tank of gas, which was also very difficult to manage a truck that size in a gas station. And on one of the hottest days of the year, the air conditioner did not work, which just sucked. I’ve rented from U-Haul many times in the past and this was my worst experience. The staff was great though!
Rechelle PI rent here 20-24 days a month. Just got charged $120 for blankets and dolly for 2 week rental. Where is the love? Would appreciate having that comped considering I spend over $2k per month here
KEVIN SFor the equipment to be ready at time of pickup. Additionally truck bed had weird goop most likely from last renter which got on my stuff. Tow Dolly also had a chain issue.
CY WOdell is a special type of employee. He's friendly, kind, respectful and professional. He deserves to be a manager and more if he's already not.
Ronald TOur U-Haul U-POD experience was perfect until it arrived at the U-Haul St Paul location. After that it was a disaster. Your 200 character limit makes is impossible to list the screw-ups. NEVER AGAIN!
