Line got pretty stacked up when I returned the trailer. Perhaps you should move the stop point further from the street so trailers aren't hanging out into the right lane of University Ave. while they are waiting.

We lived in St Louis Park, and didn't appreciate our reservation being transferred to Saint Paul. It was incredibly inconvenient, and wasted a lot of time as we tried to expedite the moving process. Otherwise the location in service was excellent.

Staff was very helpful but there weren't enough of them. They were running and going as fast as they could and my wait was still long. It was much worse for people who came after me.

By checking in online, the actual check-out in the store when very fast. The guys were very friendly and helpful. When I returned at 5 p.m. I appeared to be 5th in line and groaned. But then a worker came to where I was waiting and checked me out in less than a minutes. All around great experience.

Customer service representative was awesome. That dude needs a raise/high five for his patience and careful explanations. The wait was long, but the location was understaffed on that Saturday morning, so I get it. Still, waits (~20 minutes) have been my routine experience at UHaul.

Staff is courteous and helpful. They work hard but are consistently understaffed. I frequently wait 15-20 minutes in line.

Clean and well maintained Yes the truck was clean But it seemed like either the brakes, gas pedal, or transmission wasn't quite right. Sometimes when I'd put the brakes on it would idle really fast and sometimes even squeal Everyone was very nice and courteous, even though they were really busy

Everything with the rental itself was just fine however I got billed for two days when I called in and told them I was going to bring it back late and wanted to know if there was going to be extra charges and the person on the phone told me no as long as I got it back before midnight. Well I got charged double what I was suppose to. I called in and was told the refund would go back on my card in 3 to 5 business days. well it was a week later and nothing so I texted the number the guy gave me he said everything went through than i didnt hear anything else back so I called the store. I was told the check was mailed to my old address. well that is my old address I would have updated it in the systme if I knew they where going to mail a check. So now its been 2 and a half weeks since i rented the truck and still not seen a dime of my money back that is why I am only giving this a couple starts because even when I called in i got transferred 4 times to different people and no one could give me an answer as to when I was going to get my money back. its now the 17th and i still haven't seen anything.

overcharged me $6 for what original price was agreed up. The manager said he will reimburse but I haven't seen the reimbursement.

Self-service rental did not work on my iPhone. However, staff was available to help with the rental check-out process.

When I made my reservation I was informed that the truck was available at 1400 Selby Ave but when I went to pick it up I was sent to the University location. The service I received there more than made up for the inconvenience of the extra stop, but it seems to me that I should have been given the right information in the first place.

Facility at 883 University Avenue in St. Paul- This facility was better than many u-haul locations I have used. I was satisfied overall and everything was as promised. The staff treated me well. The truck was clean. I have had poor experiences at u-haul locations in other states, but these guys did a good job for me. Also, u-haul general phone support was much better than I expected. They changed my order successfully, were helpful and efficient, and it was nice to talk to people in the US that could speak fluent English. However, I do have one suggestion. Every truck rental at this location should include a map showing that the stone bridge on Lexington by Como Park, which is just a few miles from this facility, is TOO LOW for a truck to pass under. I had previously heard of a u-haul truck sheared off at this location from a witness, so I asked about it when I picked up my rental truck. Yes, I was told, that is the one bridge in the Twin Cities that is TOO LOW. I was going that way and I might have gone under that bridge. I was glad I asked. Customers deserve a heads-up about this any time that a truck is rented, and a one sheet map should be included in the paper work since the bridge is so close to the facility. I think this would be a great service to offer customers who may forget about height clearances under bridges in the general confusion of moving. Also, aside from the facility, u-haul itself should consider their advertising '19.99 per day' trucks. What about all the other fees? MI charge, mileage charges, other fees... Also, the insurance charge I accepted was less than the final charge, possibly my fault. I think now it was a 'per day' charge because I thought it said $28 and the final charge was $56, so you may want to check that. But in short, the $19.99 a day for two days with very low mileage was really $112 out the door. That's OK, but I think the way the costs are advertised by u-haul could be made clearer. Maybe an average per day cost would better represent what a customer could expect to pay. I think most people would appreciate a clearer estimation of expected costs. That, along with a better controls and monitoring of other problematic locations (not necessarily this location), would go a long way in raising the general perception of u-haul as a company.

The pick-up went well and all staff was helpful and friendly, but the lot is landlocked and cramped. The (corporate) website was quirky. I could not get out of a loop where it kept saying "you have indicated you don't have a 4-way plug" when I checked the box that says I in fact, have a 4-way plug. The drop-off was weird. The guy who unhitched me told me a few times "you owe $28.56" and I told him I had already paid and had a receipt, and he said "I don't need to see that, my (mobile device screen) says you owe "$28.56". Then he walked away and didn't come back (after unhitching the trailer). I think what he meant was, my card would be charged that amount. He could have just said that. I was confused. I didn't know if I was supposed to leave or not. At this point there is nowhere to park, so I drove away, not being sure what to do. I guess it all worked out, since I got an email receipt.

I would suggest to have an upper management on the site other than the owner and employees. Because I brought up to Josh's attention that I was overcharged TWICE other than booked the truck online for $66 and the charges were $172, $174 and the final total was $327! It was dishonest of the employee charged me while I called and asked for an extension (five days). Very disappointed with the services. It messed up my security deposit for the apartment we were waiting for the application to go through for a couple of days.
