Tried to talk with a staff member about the issues with my truck at the drop off. Was told I had to fill this survey out and wait for someone to contact me. A few days later I was finally contacted from a Uhaul representative. I explained to him about my terrible experience and he informed me that it was my fault for accepting the damaged truck. He informed me that the damages should have been an easy fix and would not have required a truck swap [So why were the damages not fixed before I rented the truck?!]. Also, when I initially called Uhaul customer service about the damages they did not disclose all my options and tell me about this easy fix. The only option I was given was to swap out the truck. However, that was not a viable option for me due to very strict time constraints. Moreover, the Uhaul rep told me that I could have gotten over a 50% discount if I would have swapped out the vehicle and complained more about the damages. Uhaul should take responsibility for providing me with a dirty and damaged, unsafe truck and for not providing me with all my options to solve the problems I was experiencing with the truck when I called customer service. I drove through very congested traffic and was endangering myself (and potentially other drivers) on the road due to the unsafety of this truck. It's outright unacceptable, irresponsible and egregious on the part of Uhaul to have even put me in that situation to begin with.

Debo helped my wife and I rent a van, he was friendly and professional. The van was clean had less than 8k miles and we did a night drop, the fuel and miles and bill all were correct the next morning. Debo was great he was upbeat and focused, please let him know he is doing good at his job. I appreciated the experience so much I left a 5* Yelp review too.

The maintenance on the trucks needs to be kept up because it took FOREVER for the truck I had to go over the road with to switch into different gears and going down hill WAS THE WORST...not ok.

cargo door was padlocked. I had no key for it. had to double back to the rental site while leaving my helper waiting. manager was busy, his assistant couldn't find the key. forty-five minutes wasted
