It was really difficult to get in touch with uhaul when I needed to. My first attempt to access my box was difficult. The office didn't answer the phone so it was transferred to someone who sent them a message and set it up so I could access the box. When I attempted to do so, the physical office had no idea what I was talking about and wouldn't let me access my box. When attempting to take the last couple of items out, I called to set up access to my box. They answered, said "can you hold?" Then put me on an 11 minute hold. I finally hung up and called a bit later a few times. No answer. I called the next day trying to set it up again. No answer. Transferred through to customer service where I had to explain I had been trying to access my ubox for a day at that point and couldn't get through. They managed to get me through thankfully and I got my things the next afternoon. I would not use this office specifically again. We considered getting a storage unit through them as my partner and I combine households but the first experience alone was enough that we decided not to. It seems really poorly staffed. At one point one of the staff suggested I may not be able to access my unit at all because he was the only one working the next day. They worked something out, thankfully, and I could, but that's a little worrisome.

I would never recommend any U-Haul at any time for anybody just because of my experience with every single person that I spoke with was a damn liar when I first arranged my truck they told me my month of storage would be free you would think a 15 ft truck would fit in a 5x10 locker? I mean do you not get that it would not fit in that stupid little locker? Common Sense would be a great start.

cami cWe rented a trailer and the tires on the trailer were not good. About 40 miles from our destination, the tire on the driver's side blew all to pieces. It was down to the rim. We logged onto the app for roadside assistance, but the app was not working. We called and were on hold for over 30 minutes. Once we reached a representative and filed our report, it took almost 2 hours for the repair service to arrive. Once the tire was fixed, we made the 40-mile drive into Tucson. Very frustrating.

GLENN SJohn went far above and beyond to take care of an issue with my trailer hitch power line that was not installed taught and had been rubbing and eventually pulled by my drive train wrapping it and breaking about 3’ of wire. U-Haul in Shoreline, WA noticed the same wire had fallen out of its crimp and re-crimped it. Unfortunately it had fallen out again. Tim rewired it and did an excellent job neatly running the wire away from any moving parts and securing it quite well along the undercarriage. He also installed an inline fuse and secured it with zip ties inside the engine compartment under the hood . Thankfully John was able to get the replacement covered under warrantee, saving me hundreds. John G. and Tim D. went out of their way and took care of it that day and I had my vehicle back hours later. I am truly grateful and they deserve recognition for their professionalism, excellent customer service, their craftsmanship and willingness to go above and beyond!

Steve WThe box made this move so much easier. It allowed us go at our own pace and pack things in it for several days before they came to pick it up. They picked it up and delivered the same day to our new home too! (It was 60 miles away) This is the way to go for moving! Will definitely do this again if I move again. Staff was awesome and very organized. They called me the day before to make sure the timeframe was still good on both the drop off and pick up days. Excellent experience overall.

So I was forced to get a larger truck that cost more. I not only will no longer be using your company ever again, but I’m posting my experience with UHaul to my 500k followers on social media, many are New Mexico residents. To Hell with UHaul.

JAXON PI was worried to leave my car there overnight while I borrowed the Uhaul van, and was half-expecting it to be vandalized when I came to pick it up (just because of the location); but that turned out not to be an issue. It is very convenient for it to be located across from a gas station. Staff was pretty friendly and professional on pickup and return, maybe moreso on return. Maybe on pickup I had seemed sort of suspicious because I was in such a hurry and stressed and scatter-brained from the move and other things I was dealing with.

ERIC BI tried numerous times to order online. It seemed easy enough and offered a $30 discount for a different location drop off. The only problem with this is that it would not let me process so we decided to go into the office for help. The NM (pickup location) Rep plugged in my information but couldn’t help me with the discount I was asking about. He did suggest I call a customer service representative elsewhere. I did and she also couldn’t help. The rep offered not even another word just carried on with his phone. I went online several more times and was finally able to work the online form to get the $30 discount. He then took it and gave us the trailer. No help at all otherwise.

JORDAN AThe people at this location were very nice and very Helpful. I not only returned the trailer to that location but rented a secure storage unit at that location. I followed the Uhaul person to the secure facility which is a block away. The facility was very clean well organized and easily accessible with the trailer so I could unload my belongings and use the provided carts to move my belongings to the actual unit. There was also I young lady there cleaning the facility and she was helpful and very nice. This has to be the best facility I have ever seen with Uhaul or any other storage facility.
Ed PIf the customer has to do the vehicle inspection the attendant needs to tell them this. People are busy and not always glued to their phones.

Joshua TA lot of stuff was scratched and broken. When I got my ubox delivered, it was screwed shut. And the screws were threaded so I couldn’t unscrew them with a screwdriver. So I had to call to have someone come back to my house to try and unscrew this box from being locked shut. Every single time I use u haul something goes wrong
