Was in line for an hour. 1 guy at counter until very end. 15-20 minutes between each customer. Manager came through and helped the guy behind me before helping me. Everything was absurdly slow. Staff was friendly enough. Questionnaires and upsales take too many minutes in themselves.

HORACIO PVery understaffed. Only one employee at the desk to assist with rentals. We had a reservation and had to wait because of only one employee.

Liberty RThe sign said to wait in U-Haul at drop off. We sat there for 15 minutes and finally went inside where we waited some more. Then when I asked for a recite of additional charges, the guy reluctantly went out to do the inspection and send he’d send a receipt. It seemed to be a chore to do his job. When I asked why I was being charged for additional miles he told me it wasn’t a hidden gotcha fee- I just drove to far. After a long journey and tons of work clearing out my deceased fathers house - this did not make the journey any better

PHILIP Hmy only problem was the app would not work for me to check the truck back in and it took almost an hour for me to be able to ask someone what to do. it was a saturday morning and was super busy. but a simple put the key in the box would of been nice

PHILLIP WNo one was there at our pick up which caused us to be late, making it so that we had to keep the rental for an additional day. The truck drove nicely but kept pulling to the right.
TINA WThe person that helped me check in and hook up the trailer was very professional and courteous. You are lucky to have an employee like this. It made what can be a somewhat stressful experience (towing a car for half a day from Sacramento to Brownsville) less stressful.
BRANDES EThe customer service was amazing. Unfortunately, the equipment was not maintained well, and it took 3 attempts to get an operational trailer.

DEBRA TI was told that because I was returning after hours I needed to do the pictures. I asked how. I was told to just scan the QR code. I asked if I was going to need to download the app and was told no. Then I'm trying to return it hours later and had to download the app and create an account. At least inform the employees how it works so customers are prepared for late night drop offs

CHRISTOPHER BThe place was empty. I had to walk around to find someone working in the back. There were people working in an office inside the main area. When I knocked on the door it got silent. When the employee from the back helped me he told me to never knock on the door to that office. That is Transpertation and they get very angry when people do that. I asked if they work for the company. He said yes. Last time I checked im the customer. If they want to show me how angry they can get try me. Im sure I can get more angry. RIDICULOUS!

Trent SOn line booking is a total fail, guy in the store has no customer service skills. Truck had a quarter tank of gas , they couldn’t find our reservation. Back of u hual was wet from rain .

PARDEEP GI rented a truck using the 24/7 pickup. I travelled 1/3 hour to get the truck at 6:30 pm. The truck was there but when I opened the lock box the key was NOT in the lock box. U-haul charged me for the rental but gave me no truck. U-haul did not seem to care or truly apologize for the inconvenience.
Joshua HNot the fault of Yuba City U-Haul; they did an excellent job of correcting the issue. However, scheduling my pods for delivery was awful. Yuba City U-Haul and the movers did everything in their power to make it right. I wanted my items delivered on 11/28 and logged in to schedule everything, thinking I was all set. Then I received a call from the first moving company, telling me that I needed to cancel directly with U-Haul Moving Help because they could not fulfill the request; the price I selected was incorrect, and they could only move one pod. I called U-Haul Moving Help during their office hours, explained the situation, and the very nice person who answered the phone made me feel confident that everything was sorted out. However, the day before my pods were scheduled for delivery, I received another call informing me that my pods could not be delivered and that I would have to call U-Haul Moving Help again to reschedule. That was Thanksgiving Day, so I assumed I would need to sort this out the following day. That night, I received a text from a moving company confirming my delivery. I simply confirmed and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, when the moving help arrived at Yuba City U-Haul, my pods were in the back and not ready to be picked up due to all the confusion. The amazing staff at Yuba City U-Haul made it right and retrieved my pods, while the even more amazing movers waited on their dime for the pods to be pulled out of storage. I am so impressed with Yuba City U-Haul and the movers who navigated a very confusing situation and made it work. I am not impressed with the first moving company or U-Haul support at all.

TAMMY PUhaul of Yuba City Ca. is impeccably operated and always a satisfying experience with one small exception. The wait in line can be frustrating. A result of the staff's focus on catering to every customers needs, often leaving the counter (and those in line) unattended to show a visitor the cargo space of a 10' box truck, for example. In any instance of less than excellent service, a competent but thinly spread staff, in this renter's humble opinion, is the culprit.
