The vehicle was extremely dirty on the exterior. The rep there said that they were very busy and only able to clean the interior. They had just received this truck in that day and he claimed they had no time to wash.

The hook up on my truck was not done right . I had a problem with the wiring it was installed too tight and broke my adapter so the brake light and left turn signal did not work .I hope to get call about replacement of my adapter . Eric at 530 679 0973

This location is normally excellent in all areas. The check in online feature is misleading. I have, yet, to get checked out quickly, unless Brandon (owner?) is helping me at the counter. Overall, however, this place is the best.

When I returned the 15' truck after only driving 13.9 miles, I had to put in 6 gallons of gas to get the gauge to a level they would accept without charging me $47.00. I did this at the gas station adjacent to the property and when I returned, the odometer light had "burned out" and I had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to come out to look at it so I could check out and leave. By the time the employee arrived to "fix" the odometer light (the interior lights had been set too low to see, apparently), the store had closed so I couldn't talk to anyone about the mileage issue. This is the only Uhaul place in town and I have used them before, so would I use them again? Yes, because I have in the past and it was fine. If I had any other choices, I would not go there or recommend it based on the gas mileage situation I had yesterday. 2.3/mpg is unbelievably bad. It felt sketchy and took way too long to deal with.

The truck, car hauler and trailer all got us to where we were going. Though the lights on the car hauler as well as the trailer did not work. The attendant at the San Angelo, TX location tried fixing the lights for the car hauler while smoking a cigarette. I was first given the wrong car hauler that was later switched after I mentioned the weight limits posted on the trailer. When I got home to put my vehicle onto the car hauler, it did not fit though I was told that my Silverado would indeed fit. I had to then unpack both of my vehicles and switch them around. This delayed our departure by y hours. We could only drive during day light hours due to the lights issues. When I arrived in CA I had to turn in my paperwork to the military office and in doing so I misplaced my copy. I called the Yuba City Uhaul to ask when the equipment was due back and was told 31 July. I said okay great I will have them a few days longer since my house wasn't ready then we discussed the extra cost. I ended up needing the equipment just one more day so I ran into the store since in was passing by to let them know. I again verified the due date of the 31st and it was confirmed. I was called the following day and was asked if I would be returning the equipment that day, I missed the call since in was unloading. The thing that bothered me about that is that the same Uhaul employee called me restricted just seconds after leaving me a message. I know it was the same employee because my voicemail caught him talking. What was the reason for this? Lastly, I returned the equipment and to my surprise, was charged an additional $1200. I had a feeling the 31st wasn't the correct return date but I askes over and over again to 3 different employees who all said the same thing. Now, $1200 came out of my pocket for this move. Being military we've moved 8 times, this was by far the more frustrating move and honestly due much to Uhaul. We will be moving again in 2 years and unfortunately will not use uhaul again due to this headache. Thank you for you time in reading my concerns.

Things went fine when I rented the truck, the men were polite and seemed to do their job well. But there were problems when I returned it. I left it where they said, as I returned the truck at 8:30, after they were gone. And I saw the sign that said to go online to myuhaul.com, but I could not do that on my phone. So I went home, and tried to do it online, but there was no place to show that I had returned the truck, which should have been simple. So I called uhaul, and the lady who talked to me sounded bored and not willing to do anything. She said that they would see the truck in the morning and take carre of it then. She apparently did not record that I had returned the truck about 8:30, because the next day, I got a bill online for two days of rental, when I had just used it and returned it withing 3 hours. Again, I called uhaul, and had to wait online for abou 25 minutes which is rediculous. Then someone finally picked up, and she could see that they had billed me for two days. She said they would fix it. When I got home later and tried to look at the bill, I could open one statement that said they had refunded my $71 and change. But when I tried to open the other statement, which I assume would tell me what I actually had to pay, that attachment did not open at all, so I do not know how much I have to pay. This is a rediculous amount of fussing around for what should have been a fairly simple transaction. Please let me know what I had to pay.

originally we requested a one way rental of a double axle car transport trailer. Later we learned it would be significantly less to rent the same trailer both ways. Fortunately for us we made a second inquiry and got the cheaper rate. Would have been nice if the first agent had explained that option to us.
