L’équipe est très courtoise. Il manque parfois de matériel pour transporter les items. Le jour de la fin de l’entreposage, nous avons entendu parler de coquerelles… nous n’en n’avons pas vu. Je suggère que les personnes qui entreposent les électroménagers pour faire commerce soient localisés au Rez de chaussée pour éviter de monopoliser l’ascenseur. Merci!

kevin s | Overall ExperienceI want to preface this that the customer representative I dealt with was very polite, understanding and professional throughout my entire interaction with him. However I'd reserved my van online for self-pickup. The person before me hadn't brought it back in time so I had to go into reception and ask for it. Having read all the FAQs about U-Haul CDW in Canada, I declined the CDW online in advance. However, when I was completing the registration with the representative, he had added it on. I asked to have it removed, and he said it was a directive from management that for all pickups and vans that CDW must be included. I said that wasn't the policy listed on the website, and also wasn't something enforced when I'd reserved the vehicle and checked-in online in advance. I asked to see where this policy was written. He called his boss, his boss told him it was on the website, I showed him several places on the website where it said I could decline the CDW and that there were no restrictions on doing this. I think it's very underhand and grimy to try and enforce a 'managerial directive' or whatever it was to all bookings of the two smallest vehicles. The same thing happened when I rented a pickup truck from this location in July, but I didn't fight it. Eventually after he realised it was pretty clear the enforcement of CDW didn't align at all with what is posted publicly for customers to read, he removed the CDW and said he'd find the 'policy' later and have it printed out for next time. This location is also very difficult/dangerous to pull out from given its location. Especially with the road works added around its entrance
SPENCER Cthe clerk mamoud was very unrespectful full on spot before the trip i booked the pick up and trailer and the day that i come to pick it up he told me that he dosent have the pickup but i saw the truck and the trailer in the yard .. i told him i was in a hurry because im going to nova scotia he ask me to shut up and not to tell him how to do his job... and then after my trip he call me back to tell me some threat because i bring back the truck in st jean and tell me '' im gonna charge you for stealing the truck and that im not allow to bring it back to an other uhaul and in my contract it says cleary that i can and everything so no more renting for me in cremazie

MELISSA SLe principe de remplissage du gaz avec une position de la jauge a essence, qui est par nature très imprécise, nous oblige a remplir beaucoup plus de gaz que ce qui a été consommé pendant la location. Je me suis retrouvé a ajouter plus de 20L dans le réservoir parce que la jauge ne bougeait presque pas, alors que je n'ai fait qu'une vingtaine de KM avec le véhicule. Quelque soit le niveau de consommation du véhicule loué, il est impossible que sa consommation normale soit de plus de 1L/KM (même un tracteur agricole en labour n'atteint pas une telle consommation) Par opposition, un réservoir plein, bah il est plein, le pistolet de livraison s'arrête automatiquement, il n'y a pas d'ambiguité.

MAKHAN S1. The equipment was well prepared. And the price was good. I can't complain about that. 2. But the communication was far from perfect. I had to speak with someone about my reservation on the phone several times. Only once I had a pleasant conversation. No notes are left in the reservation. And I had to respond to the same questions again and again, and again. And when I get upset about it, the woman who refused to give me her name threatened to cancel my reservation. 3. The additional equipment is not well counted at the location. I reserved two hand trucks (dollies) together with the truck. But it wasn't mentioned anywhere. The dollies were at the location. But the guy we spoke with said that he had nothing available, even though I reserved them. Maybe this guy was just in a bad mood. 4. This person at the pickup location who gave us the key from the truck had an attitude like he is giving us a favor by talking to us. The service was absolutely horrible. I am not sure I can recommend your service to a friend.
STEPHANE GThe check in process and the pick up at the Cremazie location took over 45 min. There was a line of over 13 people and only one poor clerk. He was nice and efficient but the waiting time delayed our plans greatly. Otherwise, great service.

Nous disposons d'un compte corporatif, qui jusqu'à présent n'a servi à aucun des objectifs pour lesquels il a été ouvert: pouvoir payer, consulter l'historique des factures ou des réservations - rien de tout cela n'a été possible. J'ai passé plus de 2h en communication avec le service à la clientèle, sans obtenir de solution. je vous remercie d'une solution le plus vite possible.

Indeed the truck had the option but it was defective. Even at A/C Max, there was absolutely no cold air coming out (truck DC4882W). Quite disappointing experience, especially for my family members who came and give me a hand. I looked like the cheap uncle that did not spend enough money to give them a proper environment. I would strongly suggest that the employees check the A/C, because I would have taken another truck...or another company. I am actually quite surprised because historically, I never had problems with U-Haul. Tks

DANIEL Wif someone paid for insurance, please don't take advantage of that to fix your truck. I took picture for every details on the truck, without this proof I was going to be fall into the trap of using the insurance to fix the truck and impacting my driving history. they insist that I hit the truck or scratch it while I have the proof of picture taken on the time before the truck moved. it is not a good manner to treat your customer, I will think twice to rent it again, or advice relative or friends.

Makes no sense. .I reserved it there then they call me to go to the other one cause they dont rent for more then 1 day, makes no sense. They have 3 to 4 trailers in the back. One more thing , it would be nice if we can have a spare tire in case something happens. It's no loss, put a deposit on it , till you get it back. It may be stupid things for U-Haul, but your not the ones renting the trailers and have to deal with the headaches if something happens.

MAMADOU OWe were there 10 min in advance to get the keys but the service was so disorganized that ther was only one employee for 3 counters. The other ones were looking for lost keys. We received the keys 30min later than expected and they didn't even know were the truck was parked. We payed 7 CAD extra for a barrow that was not there. This jeopardized the whole moving day. I sent an email about this and never got any reply after two whole weeks.

It was my first time driving a truck and her lack of information made it more stressful. An overview at the very least would have been appreciated. Even the offer of one. I saw a girl get a recap when I arrived at the location but I wasn’t given the same curtesy. It’s a good location though. They had multiple trucks. The pick up was quick.

After several attempts, including with a different trailer, we finally realized that it wasn't my vehicle but rather your two extensions that were broken, since when connected directly to my vehicle, everything worked. Furthermore, when I booked, I was told that I would be entitled to straps to secure the motorcycle to be transported. However, the attendant told me that the straps weren't included (as I'd been told over the phone) but that they were available if I purchased them. A very different situation. Finally, upon returning the vehicle, there was a slight complication because the trailer I left with wasn't the one indicated on the contract, even though I had informed the attendant to make the change before my departure to avoid confusion upon my return. He replied, "Oh, it's not a big deal." When I got back, I had to explain what had happened to the second attendant. He then retrieved all the information.
CLAUDE DHonestly, I thought U-Haul had such a great reputation, but unfortunately, the employees and the customer the customer service and the taking ownership does not seem like it’s one of the objectives of the employees working there. I had a complaint that was that was open three months ago, and one of them was actually a complaint about a employee at a location, and the funny part is the complaint was given to that employee who close the case. It was given to her again yesterday and she closed it again. I actually spoke to her and when she picked up the phone, she was the most extreme rude person I’ve ever met. Her name is Jennifer by the way at the U-Haul St Michel location because I remember how rude and unprofessional she was what a better person which is the reason why I filed a complete and nothing has changed. She’s also added extra charges to my invoice that I was never aware of such as cleaning and the fuel was never at what it was indicated, but I only found out that today, which was about three months later u-Haul really needs to pick up the pace in terms of training or employees because honestly, I do not think I’ll be using your services again if I do hundred percent it’s gonna be using the app but never talking to actually one of your workers.

I was forced to take a bigger unit after making a reservation online which has not been respected by the employees and blamed the system when I had my proof. At least if there was a price adjustments offered for all those months but no, many increases of course.. if I ever need a storage again I will not go back there nor recommend to anyone.

Ca me fait tout de même de très bonnes histoires à raconter qui sont maintenant hilarantes ; bien que sur place, c’était loin d’être drôle.

C’était la pire expérience de déménagement.

When trying to reach the location, i kept getting transferred to the central. The people I spoke to (3 people at 3 different times) could not reach the Cremazie location either. No one at the location was logged onto the chat even though it was during hours of operation. It took me over 2.5 hours of calling and waiting to finally be able to upload my ID which was already on file (the system wouldn’t recognize it) and process payment. I received no help from anyone. Then when I got to the location, a padlock was in the locker I had rented. I had to wait in line in order to get someone to give me access to my new unit. (I was transferring from a large unit to a smaller unit. I’ve been a customer at this location for 13 months.) Not to mention I was provided with the managers email address in order to request help and he never responded to my email. Overall, below average service. It’s disappointing.

When I came to the facility on the moving day I was told that the unit I booked is not available and I can only get a smaller one (5' x 5 or 5' x 8'). I chose a 5' x 8' one, finalized the deal and went to check the unit to find out that it has a massive concrete pillar right in the centre (it's part of the building that just happened to be inside the unit that I was given). The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, but I would not recommend anyone using U-Haul storage services because of poor reliability. Everything could have been handled in advance by a simple phone call.

Déception pour un premier contact.

Granted its busy during peak times of the month there is still a level of customer service required when people are spending a lot of money with your company, even if they aren't. In a time when money is tight for most people and they are spending less, I would imagine that customer retention is high on the priority list for most if not all companies. I will not be renting trucks with U-haul any longer nor storing anything in their facilities.There are many companies that would be happy to have the business. By the way this is my fourth rental this year, one of them being for a cross provincial move. I have been left with a bad taste from my experiences at this point and will be sharing my experiences with friends, family and public. This review will also be copy and pasted to various U-haul outlets in particular the storage facility, and also google.
