One improvement would be better signs to identify the entrance when coming to the location from the West.

I reserved a cargo van but it was not available when I arrived at the location. Instead I was given a larger vehicle when was too tall to fit under the garage clearance.

I was charged for an extra day of rental and they will not reimburse my money. Terrible!!!

The side mirror on the rental truck did not stay “set”. It would rotate outward while driving

What a train wreck. Everyone had to check in online (why?), but that process couldn't start until after the reservation time. So right away, I lost 25 minutes on my rental because I had to wait to check in online and then wait to get my key. The people working in the office didn't seem to have any idea how to handle customer complaints or issues (lost reservation and unsafe truck were the ones I heard while waiting) and kept giving the customers non-answers that had nothing to do with their actual problem. Just terrible service.

I hate to complain, but the staff member I dealt with was curt and unhelpful. I was transferred to this location when my preferred location could not honor my reservation. When I showed up to pick up the vehicle (at 2 PM, my reservation was for 1 PM), the first thing this frowning person says to me is "So I see you are late for your pickup." I then asked if it was OK to pick up anytime between 1 PM and closing, to which she answered, "Yes, of course." No 'Hello', no nothing. I thought this was weird and unnecessary. When I dropped off the vehicle (a day early), instead of allowing me to drop the vehicle and go, she first told me I had to take the vehicle through their 'return' line. There was already a vehicle in the return line being vacuumed and whatnot, but she wanted me to wait in line to return the vehicle. When I asked her if she could just drive the van through the return line later, she very reluctantly agreed. I just couldn't see the need for this person to treat her customers in such an adverse fashion.

Need to Install bright lights in the parking lot for the return of the vehicles. If there are lights out there they need to work! The little parking area needs as a minimum, motion lights. It is very scary out there alone!! This is the only reason that I would not recommend this UHaul.

The check in using your phone is a joke. I had already had a reservation and had to go through the hassle of your app to get my keys. Whatever happened to customer service?

I found the on-line registration far more time consuming than my previous experience several years ago. Once I had downloaded the app and filled out the required questions, I thought picking up the vehicle would be easy. The staff member helped me with the rest of the lengthy process. Then the app suddenly went down, requiring a complete reentry of the information. Then the staff member gave me a different truck than he’d showed me earlier. He realized his mistake and gave me the proper vehicle. With a big job to do the return time looming, the registration process was unsatisfactory

phone rep reserved a covered trailer, when the location called to confirm the reservation there where no covered trailers available in the state. very frustrating to have one person tell you equipment is available and then be told its not available once you have already given your credit card information and made a reservation.

We forgot and left our metal attachment for bikes crates etc when we attached the trailer. When we returned and asked for our metal stand they said it wasn’t there. Obviously someone found it and could have put it in lost and found. I am very disappointed that no one seemed to know anything. Obviously it was taken. How would you feel if that happened to you?

Play some background music so your staff aren’t whispering to talk to customers and also provide padlocks for the vans and trucks

Seemed understaffed, unorganized and needing cleanup. The intake person was in her car on her cell when we arrived to drop off the trailer. I saw her after entering the office and being told by the single U-Haul rep behind the counter that she would be available soon. By the time she finished her phone call the return line was four vehicles deep awaiting processing.

Original rental site was different, they called me a couple of days prior to let me know they didn’t have a 28ft truck. They offered a 20ft truck at this location and said “is that ok”? I guess it’s better than no truck at all, but because the truck I rented was further away, had to pay mileage plus the cost of the truck. Be weary that these types of rentals call fall through.
