Truck was only available for 7 hours but we made the short time work
Michael F.The reservation confirmation referenced "depending on availability". A confirmation means that your equipment will be there. It was there, but this reference is inconsistent with a reservation. The confirmation also indicated that I needed an inspection prior to the rental. I drove to the uhaul location and was told this meant the trailer needed to be inspected. This is poorly written at a minimum. Also, the reservation confirmation indicated that "this capacity was not available for this vehicle". I never learned what this meant. I recommend more clarity in your communication. The staff at the location were fine and the auto carrier worked fine.

Ron N.They overcharged me for gas. I put gas in the vehicle 2gallons only drove 10 miles yet was charged an additional $27 for gas. There's no way 10 miles is $37 worth of gas. I just dropped off the keys so l have to accept the charge. I'll never use this store again. Plus owner is rude

I was informed that this was not possible at their location. The staff worked hard to get me a truck. They did and I was a satisfied customer.

As if I that kindness weren't enough, the young woman who might have been the manager recommended a local delicatessen where we might find some fresh tripe for Xiao-Fung's grandmothers Phö recipe. She is steaming the green onion now and the tripe looks as wonderful as our new home! Thank you U-Haul!

LILLIAN B.I was sent pictures of the truck to check the status at pickup. The truck in the pictures had a different front bumper and had no notes about the numerous scratches and dents. The employees politely listened to me questions about this, but didn't provide much helpful direction for what to do to make sure I wasn't charged damage fees. The interior of the truck wasn't clean, the window crank handle was broken off. The steering wheel was covered in paint. None of these things were documented at pick up. I know that this location is in a tough part of town but the employees could definitely use some more support.

Ron R.Uhaul sent me to the wrong return location so I had to call uhaul customer service and get a new return location it was just a big mess and took over an hour to get straightened out it was honestly just one deal after another we will never use uhaul again

I have rented several items from the 6th Avenue location and can't say more positive comments for their efforts. The young lady who rented the trailer today and the young man who assisted with the return of the trailer were beyond professional.

Joseph T.Terrible neighbor hood. I was informed the night before my planned move that the truck that I had reserved had been broken into and damaged. They stated that I could still use the truck but it did not always start. What ? I was not happy. I stated that I had already planned with five guys to get this move done in one day. I said that I would be at their office at 9 AM. When I arrived they acted as if nothing had happened and offered me another truck, which worked out.
Randy S.The truck ignition looked like it had been recently stolen or something and wasn't repaired correctly. It made it extremely difficult to even start the vehicle plus was just concerning in the sense of it being easily stolen from us. They also told me that my card would not be charged until we returned the truck yet they charged me immediately after leaving. They also charged more than what we were quoted over the phone. We used this same location 4 1/2 years ago and it was a totally different experience,and not in a good way....
