It doesn't feel like the employees at this location know or care what providing a good customer experience means. Two weeks in a row we've rented trucks and each time the batteries have died. They don't answer their phones. They don't apologize. It's basically our problem, not theirs. The tow truck driver that came to assist said he was surprised I could even drive the truck because the terminal was so loose and was surprised the truck was even still in service at all since it's a 2013. I'd feel better about the situation, if they displayed genuine empathy and pride in the work they do but instead we were met with rolled eyes, sideways glances, and smirks. It feels like any they don't want to be bothered.Georgia R.

Make the online return system work. I was returning the vehicle before the store opened and the online return was not working it would freeze on the step after taking the photo of the dash. Thankfully there was already an employee at the store who came out and got the key and checked it in for me.Jason K.

My truck over heated within 3 miles of Driving and i Has to wait 2.5 hours for the issue to be resolved. Wasted my gold day to do one small pick up. Had to pay extra for the hired moving help just to get it done.Christopher J.

Upon returning my uHaul there was a sign that said to wait for a worker to come out. And there were two workers who just stared at me and didn't come out and assist me. Poor customer serviceMarianne H.
Verify reservation time/rental period with customer. When mistakes happen don't threaten to report the vehicle stolen. Harassing customers during an already stressful time such as moving is poor customer care. Don't over promise rentals if they aren't available. Overall poor business practiceMiranda F.

Several problems with vehicle that were unexpected. Passenger side door did not close even if slammed, crack in windshield although repaired prior to renting-did not feeling safe, tires were unevenly pressured at pick up, gear shifter broken on reverse and difficult to shift, heat came on even with air conditioning set, had stop during trip and ask Uhaul to check safety of vehicle, maintenance made adjustments to tires then was somewhat better. Vehicle was simply too old to take the distance driven.Claudia A.

Dash lights out, couldn't see gas gage, speedometer, etc. Truck pick up associate seemed a bit lazy or maybe not liking his job. Can't leave keys for after hours drop off, was very inconvenient and a waste of gas and my time to have to return the next day again just to turn in the keys. Truck drop off attendant was very friendly, and seemed concerned about making me wait though. Thank you U Haul.Robin W.

I had problems with the Spanaway location.the They had poor customer service And told me wrong information about renting vrenting vehicles with an out of state license. The management and staff at the location on 12th street street they were professional helpful courteous and kit's all courteous and kind. I would recommend this location again and I and I rent often and will use this location solely.. Give them a thumbs up for meJessica S.

This location is outstanding compared to other U-Haul branches in my area. The others are under staffed or have trouble fulfilling my rental reservations on rental day. This is the second time I had to go to this location to bail out another U-Haul branch. Alison (sp?) was especially courteous and cheerful.
