I understand he has several tasks to complete but he couldn't even say â€œgive me a minuteâ€ or â€œI'll be right backâ€ ??? Rude!!!! There was a late delay of three hours for the truck rental. This location notified me the night before, then confirmed early the morning of the rental that the truck would be ready three hours late. Check in was relatively painless. Curiously, even though I and my son are both clearly old enough to drive, we were required to provide the number of a third family member to verify that it was okay for me to rent the truck. Why? I am 56 years old and live my own life independently. I have had the same career job for 27 years and pay my own bills. Why was I forced to call my elderly mommy for her to tell the office staff that I may rent a vehicle? I was so stunned at the question and in a hurry that I just did it but never again. Ridiculous. The trailer was not aligned or the tires were not in good condition. The trailer should not be swaying back and forth like it was doing. There was about 1800 lbs in the trailer, I was traveling 1900 miles, at times I had to go 45 miles an hour on a highway because the trailer was so out of control.PRESTON C.

Drop off was rather slow. There were 4 staff people around and not all were occupied with customers. I had to wait upwards of 15/20 minutes to drop my trailer off. Trailer drop off should be lighting fast, because as long as the trailer is not damaged, all the UHaul associate needs to do is unhook the trailer from the customer's car and the customer is free to go.RORY V.

I loved my U-Haul experience! The manager, Waverley, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and kind. She made my experience seamless and went the extra mile to help me with my rental. I recently bought a camper trailer, and am learning the world of hitches. She helped me choose the right ball hitch for my trailer, and explained how it could be used with the U-Haul equipment I was renting. Thank you so much, Waverley! You rock! Tell customers how you want them to return the vehicle. Be specific; pull up in front of office, etc. It was pouring rain and we parked the vehicle in the lot not knowing that your staff would have an easier time checking us out if we had known to pull up near the office.Becky F.

I ordered a furniture dolly to go with the van I was renting. They forgot to include it. When I returned the van they charged me for the dolly. I told the girl at the counter and she said she would take it off my charges. She did not. I have called the store 27 times over the last 2 days and they never pick up. The phone rings over to U-Haul central where a recording tells me there is a 33 minute wait. They are great until they get your business then they become totally unresponsive.MAXIMILIAN W.
I had the worst experience with u-haul. I called to confirm five separate times over multiple weeks prior to my move, including two days before moving. The night before my move I call to check in AGAIN, and learn they don't have a truck available for me. After pleading with the customer service representative, she finally finds a truck for me an hour away. Every call to customer service took 30 minutes on hold AT LEAST. I had a problem with returning with the Uhaul app. It requires a photo of both the mileage and the gas meter. On the van I was driving, the odometer mileage appeared only after closing the door and before turning on the engine. The gas meter appeared only after turning on the engine. It was impossible to get the odometer and gas meter to show at the same time. I don't know what I would have done if the store had been closed at that time. The staff at this location are gracious, helpful, and friendly.Donovan R.

You ask for another phone number, that is not something you need to do. You push to hard for people to buy your insurance and saying your company will not work with my insurance! That is a RED FLAG. So I will be checking my options next time I need a rental. Your per mile rate is to high. U-haul could do better.MARK L.

The lady who helped me was wonderful, but the truck was so old and musty smelling I'm surprised it was still being used. I marked that the equipment was clean, but there was a lot of dog hair in the front passenger seat, probably from the person before me. It didn't cause any issues for me, but I don't want to be blamed for it as I only used the van to pick up groceries and furniture for my new place. I didn't transport any animals. James at the front desk was incredibly helpful when the app struggled to let me check in. He was very courteous and prompt to get me into the van without any wasted time. Give that guy a raise, he went above and beyond despite clearly being very busy.Alexander P.

Bruh I don't know the name of the guy but he had just started working here and was super helpful, my trucks trailer wiring had become disconnected and this dude busted out his electrical knowledge and experience and got my lights working again, and not to mention the awesome female manager who's name I'm forgetting that helped me get the right adapter and tow ball for my truck, helped me select the correct trailer and got my business squared away in the most helpful and efficient way possible, I would like to thank these two individuals deeply for their time and efforts in helping me solve my problems, would definitely recommend them and the store to anyone needing U-Haul services as they are easy to work with and want to work with you aswellMENELIK H.

You should not charge peoples bank card more money after calling them. I wasn't pleased when you charged my friends bank card more money when you called me about the truck. That wasn't right and you need to give the person back their money. You should not charge money off some ones card without them knowing. That was pretty damn rude. You need to give it back.
