Be careful with scammers!! We rented a uhaul today and when my dad returned it, they tried to charge him FIFTY DOLLARS for supposedly gas shortage. My dad is an elderly man so they were probably trying to take advantage of him but my father is a smart man and had a receipt showing the gas reading that was given to him in the morning before he started driving the truck. Be careful and take a picture of your gas tracker before your drive off the UHaul location!!!!MANUEL S.

First my pick up location was changed, so I went to the new confirmed pick up. When I got there they did not have my reservation, it was at the original place I booked. So half way there a lady calls and tell me not to come to that location because she doesn't have a truck available for me and send me even further out of my way. I finally pick up a truck get it home and see the lock in the handle is broken so the lock will not be secure over night !Julie P.

Horrible customer service. They had their entrances blocked off so I was unable to do an overnight drop off. I called customer service and they did nothing for me and said that I would be charged another day if I didn't drop it off even though I was unable to. After an hour of useless customer service they said I can drop it off at another location that was a highly inconvenience to me. The next day I get a uhual call saying that they couldn't find the trailer that I dropped off and they were going to file a police report on us. Luckily I had pics and videos of where I left it(parked right in front of the cameras) and suddenly when I send them the videos they had found it and dropped the charges. Now one day later they are trying to charge me for other uhual rentals that were already paid off! I was a loyal customer that rented uhuals EVERY weekend for my business and now I will no longer be using them or support them ever again. They are shady and crooked and lost a loyal customer.DANIEL P.

I was robbed 100 miles by U-Haul , I had rented a truck on Wednesday did my trip and the total mileages was 75 miles . On Saturday I rented a truck went to the same place and U-Haul charged me 175 miles ,I went to the same place..make sure you take pics..watch out for Renne.( The store manager). Weasel.JUAN D.

The trailer worked and was easy to tow, but it was not really clean outside and there were some leftover things inside and it smelled like a skunk. The rolling door got stuck when I first tried to open it to unload, but with extra work it did open. The floor made a lot of noise and had me concerned, but it did the job. So, it was serviceable but not as good as I expect you would want it to be.William L.

My reservation was confirmed for 7 pm Saturday night, when I arrived at 6:50pm one employee outside told me they were open. When I walked into the store another employee named Jaime told me they were closed. I showed him my reservation and explained to him that I was told I could pick it up at 7:00pm, when my reservation was confirmed. He said no we are closed. I told him if I needed to be there earlier I would of and that they should of informed me. He said â€œno we are closed and I'm going to have to ask you to step outâ€ This came as an inconvenience since I had movers waiting for an overnight move. For next time it'd nice if the pick up time was scheduled appropriately. And if you close at 7pm then close at 7pm not 6:50pm.JOSE C.

I made a reservation for an Auto Transport. I received an email confirmation which included the pick-up address. When I arrived, the representative informed me the reservation location was changed to a different city. I checked an email and I never received a call nor an email informing me of this change. We made reservations weeks in advance. Uhaul changed my pick up location the day of, and switched our pick up time twice. We scheduled the mobile pick up weeks before, and we're told one hour before that they were not doing mobile pick up. The new location made for a longer drive, and adding miles to our rental. Once we picked the truck up, we inspected the equipment to find it didn't come with a lock. You would think we would be told this to keep the equipment safe, and give us time to buy a lock. The drop off location was changed AS WE WERE DRIVING TO DROP THE TRUCK OFF. Completely inconvenient. Since we were told there wasn't mobile pick up we assumed no mobile drop off. We were confused, and had no idea how to drop the truck off. Other than being able to move our belonging, the entire experience was awful. The customer service was bad, the pick up/ drop off process was frustrating, and we were told the extra miles for pick up would be waived. They weren't.KORINNE H.

Our UHaul experience was terrible. Everything went smoothly when our UBox was shipped from New York to LA. Honestly a miracle because our experience in California has been really awful. We needed our UBox delivered to our new home, so we called every single day trying to find someone to help us schedule that. We got many customer service reps telling us â€œoh yes, someone else has to do that they will call youâ€. Every time we heard this no one EVER called us. So each day we would check back in trying to find our box and see if it could be delivered. Turns out the UBox can not be delivered to our address so they have to transfer the box. We were told it would be scheduled for transfer the next day and we would receive a call. So we waited a full 24 hours and never got a call. So we had to call and turns out our box was never transferredâ€¦â€¦and no one thought to call us and let us know?!? Here we are waiting for our box so we can finally get our things and no one lets us know the transfer suddenly can't happen due to a â€œlack of driversâ€. Okay cool so we say great we will pick it up our selves in a truck. We schedule a truck with a woman the day before we went to move and our UBox reservation. We get to our truck pick up, the woman the day before told us this would be a one way truck. We get there and the guy tells us these are only local trucks so we cannot take it unless we want to drive another hour back with the UHaul. So no we don't want to do that because that's expensive and a waste of time and we were told this location had a one way. It is also located near our Box. So we call and schedule a new truck and have to take ANOTHER Uber, just a lot of money being thrown away at this point, to a new truck location. Okay finally something goes right and we get a truck. U Haul. Your customer service reps are almost entirely incapable of helping your customers. We had the worst experience and we will not be using you again. The most helpful person was the lady helping us unload our U Box. Thank you to her she was a dream after a long nightmare of service and disorganization. Truck was dirty. Truck had lots of outside damages that were not listed I took pictures of all of them before I left the lot! I booked online, waited over 1 hour for my truck!! Truck did not have 1/2 a tank of fuel I filled it up a little over 1/2! I did not get reimbursement for the extra fuel or for cleaning the truck!Alex O. T.
