Very slow staff. The line had 10 people in it. And only 2 workers. The “manager” was sitting in the back (everyone could see him) and he didn't offer help to his crew. Got to the location at 9am for 9am reservation. Ended up leaving at 10. And I only needed to pick up a trailer. On top of that. The ratchet starts on the car hauling trailer were in such bad shape, that I was worried that my car would simply rip them. So i ended up buying Husky Straps. The trailer itself was in bad shape. The hitch is worn out, tires need attention. When mentioned to one of the employees, he just blamed my hitch and my driving. Perhaps my driving was a little off today. But the hitch is brand new😂 The customers love using your guys trailer. But perhaps its time to upgrade them slowly?

Maybe the truck had just been returned and was the only one available for my reservation but it could have been looked over a bit for cleanliness. The cabin was dirty, either coffee of soda stains on passenger seat, cup holders and center console. Taco sauce and salt packets in glove box and inside center console compartment. An almost finished cheetos bag on the passenger side floor. The delay with being stranded for over 2 hours due to a bad battery was also an inconvenience. Had to jump start it again to get it back to the facility from which it was rented. Not being able to return it to a facility near my destination was an added fuel and mileage expense.

First: The trailer rolling door is sticky, the floor seems questionable, and the tie off rails were in need of tightening. Better maintenance would help. Second: Stop lying to customers about how to redeem a gift certificate. At pickup I was told I could not redeem it then because my card would not be charged until the return. On return I was told there was no option to pay with the gift certificate. I was also disappointed to find that my card was indeed charged at the time of pickup. I'm angry with U-Haul for the lack of honesty.

The manager was showing me some attitude at the time of pickup and telling me I had 2 days only to return the truck. I said no, 3 days and I had confirmed that with the scheduler team. He insisted no, 2 days only. I had ended calling the scheduler team back and they confirmed 3 days indeed. I put the scheduler on the speaker so they can hear and the manager finally said, yes you are good to go. What an asshole. Please excuse my language. He didn't even say sorry to me. I thought at first because I'm asian and I felt a little racist. Long story short, my experience wasn't good. I had ended paying extra days because the truck that I rented the heater does not work. I had travel 612 miles round trip. My safety is my priority, I don't care about how much it cost. They should have check this truck first before letting me rented it. It would have been okay if this manager apologize to me and handled the case as manager but clearly not unfortunately. How did this guy became a manager if scenario like this couldn't handle it. We even looked at the truck on the day of my returned and confirmed that the heater does not work. I wish I had recorded it. I called the customer service to give my complaint and told everything what happened. He told the customer service that the truck is in good condition and the heater seems working. What a BS and a liar! How could you do that! I almost risk my life at the freezing mountain without a heater frost. I almost couldn't see my windshield. I did not drive at night because I am afraid to risk my life. I will never rent in this location ever again. Not for this guy. Horrible experience. Because he was telling a lie, I went back to the location and told him straight, why are you not telling the truth that we both know the truck's heater was not working. He said, look man, It is just $40 credit, her coworker saw and heard everything he has to say. I said again, I don't care how much it cost, what I do care is my safety and for customers that will be renting that truck again. I said to him if we could open the truck and test the heater again. He refused to open and turn on the engine truck because he knew, it is not working indeed. It would have been okay with me if he tells the truth. What pissed me off is he lied. At the end, he yell at me and said GET OUT. At that moment, I grabbed my phone and recorded everything he has to say. Yes, I have the evidence of what happened. It would have been okay if he apologize but he didn't. Never ever recommend this location again. What a horrible experience I had.

1. I did my reservation in advance, got there and the truck that i reserve was not available, have to get another truck different size. 2. It was not clean with a hole in the middle of the floor. Please keep the reservation for your customers is very frustrating to get there and find out that someone decided to change everything with out informing your customer about it or at least informing your coworker about it. After waiting for almost an hour we have to get another truck of different size. And they didn't bother to give a discount after waiting for more than a hour. Very Disappointed.

This trailer have big issues .while you driving..I believe the Axel Wheels Suspension are Damage even you change tire everytime the problems will exist.. check wheels and measure each side if the chassis are Different..To much Shake's.

The worst customer service. Rude answers, they assume that customers know how U-Haul works and we ask them they don't have the capability to explain them. The website to return the truck online is not working well, it doesn't allow to complete the return process.

The Uhaul Link that was send to me for returns or drop off. Didn't worked. It stated that I don't have any rentals or reservation. Uhaul needs to correct this inconvenient link service for returns or drop off.. Also the 15 foot size Uhaul truck I rented. The cargo box was not swept. A lot of debris and dirt left for my unexpected type of service. Which it shouldn't happen at all.

I was not aware the gas is not included. I was not informed until after the contract was finalized and the keys to the truck were being given to me. Just a recommendation to bring it up before anything is final.

First, my appt for hitch, wiring and ball installation was changed. Then they forgot to give me the ball and pin. I didn't find this out until I got home. Went back a few days later and they gave it to me. When I picked up the uhaul which was a nightmare it was the wrong size ball I reserved my uhaul on 6/22 for a 8/31 pickup. I was called on 8/28 and given the location in Long Beach. Got to the location and was told “we UPGRADED YOU FOR FREE” to a bigger unit. Well, my car can't tow a bigger unit. I lived in Seal Beach, the pick up was supposed to be Long Beach. The ONLY correct size unit I was told was in Cudahy. Where the hell is Cudahy? Well it was 25 miles!!!!! I am angry and UHAUL's Mr. Shoen going to hear from me.

Maybe actually get a secure key lock for this location because they refuse to lock the keys in the truck for self check out because of crime rates. So may I suggest a lock box for the keys when people want to do self check out?

When I returned the van on Sunday at seven I did not know the place was closed. I did not know where I should drop off keys they did not tell me. I figured it out. Your website links to do the check out did not work for me. Felt nervous just leaving the car there and dropping the keys in. But since everything got checked out OK and I received a confirmation email this morning that was good. Please check out the email link. Would be easier to write the vehicle license number as your confirmation number in case you don't have it.

Trucks were parked by the time I dropped off my truck after hours in a way that didn't allow any access to the drop off location. Trucks had to be parked incorrectly in the customer parking.

The employee's were helpful but the wait time was too long. They kept saying it was because "the system was down" however I was unable to use the app as well. Just was very slow and time consuming, what's the point of booking online weeks ahead of time if its still going to be slow.

I was up-charged from the initial receipt because I was charged for an extra day. I did not keep the truck that long. I was only able to give the truck back after unloading it and there was massive traffic. It is unreasonable to charge that much without notifying the customer of these details beforehand. I also had to drive an extra hour out of my way to this particular location because the closer location didn't have the correct sized vehicle. I was charged extra for this circumstance that impacted the turn-in time. Also, we were given the vehicle with a quarter tank of gas that almost ran out when we picked it up. This is completely inappropriate and just another inconvenience on top of all the other issues.

Hire more people so there is less waiting time. And it would help if they can explain the whole process, instead of running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Because lack of staff. Longer business hours would help also.

The location and customer service is great! I just hate how the uhaul company gives false pricing advertisement. You go in thinking your paying $65 and then get your final bill at $200 like wow! They need to stop putting the fake prices on their trucks of $19.95 like that's what they charge the hour lol

Truck was too old, ac work for 5 minutes and then stop, no gas and there was damage to the sides of the truck, (I included the pictures to dispute it) took way too long to get help and then when I returned I waited for someone to come and check it but after 20 minutes I left. Just make sure you check the equipment before and after they bring it back
