Edward MThe uhaul computer system was offline, so check in / pickup was being done manually, so there was a significant line up waiting to get vehicles. But Kristy did her best to get everyone out as quickly as possible.
Kevin HIt took approx 30 minutes to check in due to a computer issue supposedly happens most weekends. When I returned fhs truck, I could not get a receipt due to the system still being down. Very poor!!!

Henry DCalgary winters are messy. The truck wasn’t washed so I can’t say it was clean. The part that I questioned was the gas. It was close to 1/4 tank at pick up. We were to return it on 1/4 tank. I would have preferred full. It was very hard to estimate how much gas we would use. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was the best possible diy move experience. We finished early and were only charged for the days we had the vehicle.
John RI don't recall seen on the website that I would be charged for fuel. I used 1/8 of a tank and was charged $33. Given I was being charged by the kilometre I assumed that included the fuel charge. I am not happy - not that it's a lot, its more the principle of it.

Robert HThe trailer I picked up looked like it was taken off roading. Covered in ice and mud. It was filthy inside as well. The lights did not work properly. I had no time to try to convince the person helping me to give me a different trailer. I reported it and was credited back on my credit card. I move home staging furniture using your trailers. I had to try to clean up the mud inside using my moving blankets. I had to lay a sheet across the entrance to avoid getting mud on my furniture. I had to extend my rental because of having to clean up the trailer inside. The next day weather was warming up and so the melting ice on the roof ran down the entrance dripping muddy water on me as I unloaded and onto my furniture.
Monica POver all, above average. The inside of the cargo box had lots of snow on the floor. The back door must have been left opened before it was closed. However, the snow wasn’t removed. It was inconvenient for this occasion’s needs.

BRUCE AThe registration form said truck was 3/4 full gas, in fact it was only 3/8 full of gas. I noticed it after driving a few miles and could not stop to take picture etc. How did the form say 3/4 and only 3/8 full. It was frustrating. Did some one steal gas or ... .......???

Justin GI have rented a cargo van from this location on a number of occasions and have typically had a positive experience until this one. I was not happy with the cleanliness of both the exterior and the interior of the van I rented. Inside, there was garbage left in the cab of the van (an old Tim Hortons cup and old rental agreements) and the exterior was quite filthy. I brought the matter of the exterior up to the associate I was dealing with, and I believe the manger or owner of the location, and it was quickly blamed on the cold weather. While i understand the weather was extremely cold and likely difficult to wash, the situation could have been handled a bit better rather than just offering me a cube van. The van was really dirty and while i cannot prove this in any way, I believe had been dirty for a while as the dirt was caked on. One other note was that there was 3/8 of a tank of gas in the van. I was again a bit surprised by this as it is typically full. Overall, i felt there was a lack of attention paid to your product, the van, that has been typically shown in the past. I am an owner of a service based business and if I or my staff presented our product to our customers like this, I would be disappointed on an ownership level and wouldn't be surprised if my customer didn't come back.

Patricia HIve rented here lots and always was happy with everything. This last go around though with the car hauler I rented wasn't the best. The one strap was so frayed that it look me damn near 30min to get it to work. I was 3 and half hours away and wasn't leaving the car behind so I had to struggle.

Margaret JI rented the same type of trailer a couple weeks prior and I was provided a U-Haul 2" ball mount and I was good to go. This time around, the lot attendant said my ball mount is too big and he told me to talk to the manager, which she said they do not lend ball mounts and that there aren't any. My shop was not too far away and I went to borrow a 2" ball. Just an inconvenience had I known that it was not included and I could have prepared for it.
Kendrick KValerie was absolutely amazing. it was my first time moving/ renting a box truck so of course i was nervous so it was nice that she was very kind and patient. also i don’t remember his name but the man that pulled the truck to the front and got it all warmed up for me was genuinely a great employee and made it super easy for me!
Bob HThe van was not very clean and the windshield was cracked. The team at UHAUL acknowledged the crack when I picked up the vehicle and there were no charges to me. I can understand that the outside of the vehicle was not clean because the streets that day were wet and slushy. The interior however, was another matter, there was still litter left from a previous renter.

I asked him if they had something to move trailers and he said U-Haul doesn’t provide anything. I won’t be going back, if they don’t know what safety is and not have trailers everywhere.literally the trailers where everywhere and it wasn’t safe to be backing in and around other trailers

Chris BThe customer service has improved a lot since the last times I’ve used Uhaul. Two things though. Please make the app check in function much more obvious and user friendly. I had a tough time finding it when I needed to. The windshield wipers need to be checked before sending a customer out. My wiper blades were worn and it became a visibility risk while driving.

Jesus RThe rental process should include the rep showing you where the vehicle is. I was given keys and told it’s outside, big place! Once I found the truck, it was covered in snow and ice. No snow brush or scraper and when asked the rep said they don’t have any. I asked him to clear the snow while the truck warmed up, he found a small flimsy broom and did it. I had expected to have a vehicle ready to go being that I made a reservation. It’d be nice if the vehicle was warmed and ready. A little more customer service would go a long way!

Nancy NPerhaps avoid: We were asked to go outside and then sent inside Being charged for 3 miles over for a 300 mile trip was petty especially when the gas gauge clearly shows that we left more gas than was given. It was a shame the employee was unwilling to try and make a simple adjustment. She showed no initiative to make a customer happy. It was ONLY $3.20 BUT no customer service given. I guess UHAUL always comes out on top. I’m not choosing your company first ever again.
