First, I made a reservation (#21109281) that was confirmed for pickup at 17 AVE. When I got there, they said they never received any confirmation. I checked my account, and I realized that U-Haul moved my reservation to Blackfoot (I never received a notification about it). I arrived there to pick up the truck and the dollies, and they told me there are no dollies and the online reservation doesn't guarantee anything, what a joke! Finally, you overcharged me by about $30, and there was no explanation for it. See you soon, guys, this hasn't ended.

John EMy whole experience from the beginning seemed OK then I was given two different locations as to where the actual truck was so after driving around the city for 45 minutes being told at location and the other location that they had given me the wrong information when I finally arrived at the proper place they initially couldn’t find my reservation. Finally, the young man who helped me he was very nice obviously none of this is his fault..

Abdukadir FThe Van was dirty inside and out, I didn’t notice until I left on my trip but the windshield wiper was broken, there was hardly any wiper fluid, a light cover was broken, the signal lights were not working properly. After calling in someone came to fix the wipers and signal lights, but it was a major inconvenience. Also I was given the van with 1/4 tank which makes it difficult to return with only a quarter tank. I ended up returning it with 5/8 tank and was not given any credit.

William BExtremely poor experience. I feel completely misled. I made my U-Haul reservation one day in advance through the website. The booking was confirmed smoothly for pickup at 8:30 AM the next morning, and I only needed the vehicle for 8 hours. However, when I arrived at the location, the staff told me that because I had booked “too late,” I would be required to return the truck to a different location. This caused major inconvenience for us, especially since the two locations were about 20 minutes apart by car. As compensation, we were told that we would receive 100 km of free mileage. Since we urgently needed the truck, we reluctantly agreed. Later, when I received the bill, I was shocked and extremely angry. The staff had changed my rental period to 24 hours without my knowledge or consent. I never requested a 24-hour rental. I only booked the truck for 8 hours. She told us the booking was still for 8 hours, but that we could use it for 24 hours if needed. That is not the same thing, and she had no right to alter my booking without my approval. We returned the truck at 9:00 PM that same day, but because of the staff’s misleading actions, my final bill became over CAD 200. On top of that, the so-called “100 km free mileage” was never actually provided. Instead, I only received a discount of about CAD 30. This is unacceptable. I consider this deceptive and dishonest behavior. I am filing a complaint because customers should not be misled, charged for terms they never agreed to, or given false promises as compensation.

Jason KThe computer system was very slow at this location, resulting in a very long wait before I could pick up my truck. Additionally, I rented a queen mattress protector, but never received it. However, the truck was clean, and dropping off the truck was easy and straightforward.
Erik BThe trucks engine was very loud. Barley moved uphill. The locking back door stuck all the time both up and down for closure. At some point I had the key stuck in ignition without any reason.
Ashot MThey changed the truck last minute and didn’t have the two dollies that I requested. Ended up leaving ten minutes after pickup time and the employees were not very helpful. I also didn’t get a refund for the one dolly that they rented me. Because apparently it was first come first serve and they’re not reserved for me.

John Wthe first truck we were "assigned" only had a quarter tank of fuel and we did not have time to get fuel so asked for another truck but this added time to our tight schedule as well as the truck battery died and we had to boost it Sunday night after our workshop so that hindered my experience a bit

Cianna GVan was covered in snow and not ready, van i initially rented was behind a line of other vans and not accessible so I could not get to it and had to go back inside and ask for a different one and was not ready and covered in snow. I also had to fill up gas to 7/8 full and ended up filling the tank as I could not estimate that amount and the gauge doesn't work when van was off.

I felt with them always, always taking amazing, great care of me, and always making sure I'm satisfied with their service. And I'll tell you again, I am super satisfied with their service, and I highly recommend you all checking this location out. See for yourself! When I have questions, they are always willing to hear me out and work with me to set me on my way. Very happy with their amazing, professional services!🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡

Shunxi MClean the mirrors and windows -they were not clean when we took "possession" of the truck, but a staff member came out and cleaned all the windows, mirrors, and even the headlights when he saw my daughter starting to clean the mirrors.. No other issues. The staff, however, were WONDERFUL - One of the staff was there when I did the walk-around. Another set up my UHaul account. Another re-assured me when the online check wouldn't upload not to worry about it, as I'd be returning the vehicle to the same location. The very accommodating (I returned the next morning, and extended the rental a day due to just being physically exhausted). AND, when I did return the vehicle in the middle of the night, and completed the check-in photos, but was greeted by a "it's not you, it's an issue on our end" message for the self-check-in, the 1-800 staff was just as courteous - and reassuring as well. THANK YOU UHAUL.
