The staff was friendly and helpful. They made suggestions on items we might need and even had a mental calculation of miles it takes to get to a destination, which was helpful in choosing how many miles I anticipated driving. Check out and back in was quick even for those who didn't make their reservation online.
Larhonda HMy experience was great up until I received an email stating I owed money. This was extremely false. I was told that I delivered the vehicle back late and also I was told that the gas was lower then what it was when I rented it. When I rented the vehicle I attempted to load my driver's license on the link that a gentleman sent me over my phone. When I scanned my driver's license the image just kept buffering it never went to the next stage. I informed the gentleman that it was doing that and he entered my information manually. Also when I went outside to take the picture of the license plate and vehicle before I left the lot the system kept doing the same thing. So I proceeded to go ahead and move my things to the public storage that I rented from you. I initially rented the vehicle for January 31st to the 1st, but I ended up not needing the vehicle for the entire day. I ended up bringing the vehicle back the same day which was Saturday January 31st about 3 hours or 4 hours after I initially rented it. If you check the cameras you will see that I turned the vehicle in way before time I had rented it for an entire day but I brought it back the same day I rented it. I also put more gas in the vehicle than what was initially in it. Once I returned the vehicle the gentleman that initially rented me the vehicle was backed up with customers and there was another female lady that was working alongside of him. I handed him the keys to the vehicle and his response was, "I thought you were going to need the vehicle for an entire day."and my response was to him was, "I thought I did too." He then told me once he got the line down that he would go out and check my vehicle in and that I was free to go. And then I get the email talking about I was late being bringing the vehicle back and that the gas wasn't where it was supposed to be and that I didn't initially do my PreCheck of the vehicle. And I did all of that and some. I'm not going to be charged for your system being down, nor am I going to be charged for your employee being negligent and checking my vehicle in way after time.

TANGANYIKA SThis was NOT my contracted drop off location. U-Haul redirected me to this drop off location on my last day of the 3-day 1-Way rental. This was 10 miles in the wrong direction for me & not near where I needed to be later in the day. This was a waste of 20 miles (R-T). There was no ask - if I could or would do it - just you need to take it there per their dispatch office. I felt lucky the location was open until 7pm and I could drop off in time with an agent. The lady at the rental drop off was nice but really confused why I went to them and not my contract. Another U-H issue fail.
