The online process hides shipping materials in a discrete way where I was charged for $103 of stuff I didn’t need. I was refunded, but this practice wasted your employees time (and mine) as they had already packed the truck with stuff I didn’t need.

When I tried to contact UHaul I couldn’t get through. Instead all I got was a nonstop recording from UHaul which after 15 minutes is infuriating. Why don’t you have people to answer your phones!!!! Totally crappy customer service by phone! The folks at the rental location were excellent. I suggest you remedy the long wait to contact UHaul by phone.

Not specific to this location. You charge 4.25 a gallon for trucks not returned with the same feel level. Trying to gauge how much for was used can be tricky, I out in 5 gallons after driving 25 miles. It really would be better if all the trucks were full when you rented them and you could return them full, no guessing

When I arrived at my drop-off location, I filled up the gas tank to the amount that my contract stated. The next day I was contacted by my drop-off location rep (who was awesome) , indicating that it needed a full tank. I forwarded the contract, only to find that the pickup location put me in a truck that did not match the contact. Therefore, the mileage and gas was off. When I contacted the pick-up rep, he was rude and took zero responsibility; claiming that it was my fault and I didn't follow directions prior to leaving. He misrepresented our conversation during pick-up. He was not helpful in putting me in touch with the manager and eventually hung up the phone on me. I had to take 90 minutes off of work to drive to the drop-off location to rectify the issue. If this is an example of the customer service that uhaul provides, I would never use again. Actually the contract attached to this survey was NOT the one sent to me upon my pickup. This is the FIRST time that I have seen this contract

experience was great and owner was considerate of my situation which required modifying a one-way reservation to a return trip. i appreciated his responsiveness and efficient handling of the situation. i would like to note that customer service was difficult to get in touch with and i was shuttled from department to department and placed on hold multiple times. i ended up going in-person to the original drop off location (which was great and helpful) as well as the return location (which was also great).

The representive was very helpful. I had a broken ground on my truck and the hookup wouldn't work. He crawled under the truck and fixed the ground. I was on my way in five minutes.

Tom was great and the equipment performed as expected. The only feedback I have is regarding the tie down methods inside the trailer. The slots in the padded side rails are to narrow limiting my options in regards to tie down locations. My bungee ends could not hook into them at all. Think about other ways people might want to tie down their stuff.

Make sure trailer is empty before leasing out to customer. We rented the trailer and when got home and opened it , had moving pads and dolly inside. Had to go back to give items back before we could use trailer .

I used this u haul location to move very last minute. I walked in and got the truck I needed very quickly with no problems. I used it over night get and it worked great. Returning it was easy and it was very affordable.

I wish I had know about the free 1 month storage rental before I rented the uhaul. Long story short uhaul saved us today! We rented a storage unit and paid $94 for a 5x10. We picked up our uhaul in Dover & drove to somersworth to the storage unit and the code they gave me wouldn't work.. no emergency number to reach someone after hours. And they are closed on Sunday. I was frantic calling around for a storage place that would be open. Just at the right time uhaul sent me a text saying thank you etc.. the mentioned storage!!!! Omg! What?! Seriously uhaul saved us!! We get to the Rochester office.. super nice & helpful! He told me the first month is FREE!!! Because we rented a uhaul!! Seriously?! I was so happy!!! The only downfall.... they didnt tell me our storage unit was up in a building in a very tight spot :/ my husband is storing some big tools so that was not fun getting in and out of! Very awkward to get in and out of the storage unit.. I wish we could of gotten one outside. Which is what I thought we were getting for $85 a month :( that's my only downfall with this but man!!! Uhaul NEEDS to advertise BIG time!!! FREE month of storage with uhaul rental!!! Thank you again!!

I am extremely upset with the service I received today. The employees scammed me. They charged me 150 dollars fine for supposedly damaging the van when I did not damage it at all. The man pointed out a tiny scratch in the side door and made claims that it would be 600 dollars to fix it. When I tried to dispute it they called me a liar and faulted me for not taking a picture of it when I got the van that morning. The girl who rented the van to me that morning glued her face to the wall and wouldn't even look me in the eye. When she had verified the van that morning with me she did not make it clear at all that I would be charged for any tiny ding or scratch. The scratch was so tiny as to be unnoticeable and not in any way affecting the function or condition of the van. You would have never seen it if you were not looking for it which I am convinced he was. He went right too it immediately and gleefully informed me that he would be charging me a fine. When I examined the van that morning I thought I was looking for any obvious damage when I reviewed the van and I did. There was no obvious damage when I took the van and no damage when I returned it. The man's claims that I owe them to repair a scratch that was more than likely already on it are ridiculous. As are his claims it will be 600 dollars to fix. They won't fix it, they will rent that van out tomorrow and pull the same scam on someone else. I was so upset by this experience that I cancelled my future reservation with uhaul to move form Ohio to Maine. I will never use uhaul again.

Tom & Billy are always great to work with. They remember who you are, your preferences for equipment, etc. Uhaul needs to clone these two guys to put in other facilities to spiff up the quality of customer service.

I thought you should be aware that your ca Shaun’s at the Gettysburg U haul was ride, unhelpful. I was told at the Dover NH location, excellent marks all the way that there would be wood so my undercarriage would not scrape. Shamir said he doesn’t help to unload cars it’s not his job, that he didn’t have wood and we needed to go to Home Depot 30 miles away. I will never rent from Ihaul again.

Fix a crappy app. It took 1 hour for phone check out at truck location. I confirmed res 2nd time online earlier that morning, licenses dates, names etc.. Get to store and have to take pictures (makes sense) but that stops the app to wait for approval of paper I submitted yesterday and this morning. Call or verify with business, passport or?? Dumb shit. I took truck before app finished, but I had keys, you had more than enough and app wanted me to wait for approval 10th time. Not User friendly

The person who processed us out when we returned the truck was thorough, efficient and courteous. Very impressed with this Dover U-Haul location.

The manager, Tom Fuller (spelling) was phenomenal. Usually when you go to a UHAUL facility, asking anyone for anything extra usually comes with a fee. Before I could get out of my truck, Tom had the trailer hitched up, latched on, and ready to go. He was polite, friendly, even asked how I was doing. Wow. Talk about service. This should be the standard that all your facilities align to. I will DEFINITELY be renting from the Dover facility again. He even let me top off my tire with air. Allow staff to adjust the time you are charged for the truck by more than an hour. I had the truck for a total of 29 hours ans was charged for 2 full days.
