The nice young gentleman at counter had the flu or a bad cold. Consider policies: - to allow him some compensation to take a day. If he's part time then u have all kinds of flexibility. $50 might do it..spin it as a keeping U-Haul workers safe. - pay a last minute bonus to replacement $50? Result: - Keeps other employees from getting sick: - less sick days and disruption - more efficient operation means more $$

I worked as a uhaul rep for another place before, and it was super awesome that when I returned my trailer that they were right there to guide me in and send me on my way without having to get out of my vehicle. Absolutely amazing.

Scott MIt started to rain so I brought the truck back a day early. I asked for a receipt so I could get a time stamp on the return and was told I'd get an email. I had to call in the next day to get my email receipt at the 1-800 number. She sent me the receipt which had a 4.5 hr late return but I brought it back at 12 noon. (This was not an honest mistake) and I would call it criminal. I was going to go back for another rental to finish up the job but having second thoughts about U-Haul and especially that location. It appeared to me that Daniel was there 'only' to collect a paycheck while doing as little as possible, and not good at customer service 'trying to avoid questions when asked'. Maybe he would be more suited with a job not having to talk to people.

When I removed it from the hitch, the trailer rolled back but this guy didn’t even help ir say something but just stares at me.
JEREMIAH AIt's very frustrating to bother to pay for and arrange a reservation ahead of time for two utility dollys because we KNOW we will need them and then arrive to check in and be told they are not available. What is the point of a reservation? The reason was they were given away to walk ins. This would be like if you make a reservation for dinner and your table is given away because someone else showed up first, even though you had an agreed upon time. This left us scrambling to find another dolly. Furthermore, it was then difficult to even get through on the phone to many other locations because they were busy and all the centralized call center could do was search and speculate that other locations could have one. The people I interacted with at the facility when returning the truck were helpful and pleasant, hence why I indicated I would recommend this location, but the process of making reservations for high-use items is something that needs to be improved.

The truck was in a good condition. The drop off was great and I got confirmation email with my final receipt and got the refund for not used miles. Overall a smooth experience and surely will recommend to anyone.

Zachary SI have rented at the Curtner Av location for 10 yrs +. The men are very helpful with every issue brought to their attention. There are 2 issues non-employee related: 1) The bandwidth for the server and or Wi-Fi is extremely slow. When taking pictures for download upon picking up the vehicle takes an unusual amount of time. 2) The constant gas being syphoned from the tanks. I'm sure this is an issue on your radar for costs to begin with but it really is a hassle for all involved. I am very pleased with the Curtner Av. location as the employee are very helpful and pleasant, the trucks are reliable and budget friendly and it is easily accessible from Hwy 87. Thank you Team U-Haul for making my moving experience a positive one! Regina

JOHN HThe person that eventually help me was apologetic for the lack of care of his coworker. To be clear, the person that check me out tried his best to smooth my experience over. I was there for 45 minutes to rent an enclosed trailer. The guy that checked me out was busy and signaled to his co-worker to help me. The co-worker was busy on his personal cell phone and smoking pot in the back lot. I know because I walked out there to confront him and ask why he isn't helping me. He told me he was busy. I then observed him walking around for another 20 minutes. He wasn't doing anything. I yelled out to him and told him I need to rent a trailer before you close! He ignored me. Finally, I saw the original person in a truck he was about to move. I got a little upset and yelled at him since I was there for 45 minutes and no help. He got out of the truck and took care of me. He apologized. Management should look into that other employee. He is useless. If you need me to identify him I will gladly do so. He is a liability to your company.

TED CI thought the representative that helped me get my truck was very good. He was informative and helpful. The truck overall was clean and it ran well. Except, I had a two day rental and on the second day the maintenance light came on on the truck. I don’t know if this was for an oil change or some other more significant issue. That was a little stressful. I don’t know if this could have been prevented with regular maintenance. I don’t know how to judge whether this particular location was excellent above average average or whatever. It seemed like a decent store and it was clean and the representatives were good.

LISA LTruck has a rough idle occasionally. It seems to happen in the middle of the day, not when cold but after the engine has warmed up. There’s a little bit of moisture coming in during rain in the front attic but it’s minimal. Could be condensation or a small leak.
ANSON BThe whole process was fast and smooth with my reservation when arrived and even easier with dropping off the truck!! Daniel was super helpful and friendly with getting me set up with the truck rental. When I couldnt get the door to the truck open, he came out and showed me I had tried to open the wrong truck and found the right truck I had rented and moved it out of the parking space it was in for me to just drive straight out of the lot. Even helped place the dolly I rented in the back of the truck safely so it wouldnt move around while driving. Very clean lot and clean store/office. The process to return the truck was as easy as handing the employee the keys. He was busy with a customer but still multitasked and let me know I can hand him the keys and Im good to go. Very professional and kind. Will definitely come back to this location for any future truck rental needs.

DIEGO DThe truck is rented had clearly not been checked between rentals. After picking it up and fueling it (tank was empty) I discovered that the back of the truck was full of garbage, broken glass, and some chemical liquid (like epoxy) spilled on the floor. They offered to have me go back to pick up a different truck, but the line is usually about an hour long and I already put gas in it, and didn't have time to do all that over again. So I spent about 45 minutes cleaning the back of the truck.
KYLE EWhat can be done to improve for the next customer? Make sure there is gas in the vehicle being picked up. We got into the truck and it had no gas - it said 0 miles until empty. Work with the staff on customer service - the customer service was horrible. I wish I had the name of the person who told me to look at the contract when I asked him why there wasn't any gas in the truck. But Carlos was the consummate professional. He came to us and apologized for no gas then proceeded to put gas in from gas cans.

Sandra MWe got a broken truck. The gas was on E with 33 miles left. We were told to not pay attention to the 33 miles and that there was more gas than that in the tank. We ran out of gas after 6 miles, got stuck and had to find gas. Got gas, put 7 gallons in and the gas odometer was broken. The back of the truck door was broken and when we brought it back to tell the guy, he said it was our problem and didn’t let us exchange it but still charged us for it. We didn’t even get to use the truck.
