I don't understand the charging for 1. The rental per day 2. Per mile 3. Fuel costs. So we pay for the rental for the day, cool. Then we pay for fuel so they don't have to do it, also cool. But for each mile? What is that for? The depreciation on the vehicle should be covered by the daily fee. I feel like I have used Uhaul before and they never charged by the mile on top of the other two charges. Will be using another company with more reasonable charges next time.Michael B.

I rent trucks from your company on a weekly basis and have for years! I called to ask about a charge and the representive David was very rude from the start of the conversation! I was charged for gas i have never returned a truck with gas not where it needs to be a have the proof with receipts and mileage but he hung upon my and said i was yelling which i was not! As i said i rent all the time from your company and i know how to speak to others ! I am going to go in the store and speak with manager! Or i will no longer work with your company!Freedom G.

My interaction with the staff was excellent. My brother and I reported the fuel was at 3/4 tank which was less than was invoice at check out. The gentleman was kind and informative and reassured us that we would be charged for the mileage/gasoline used based on what we reported. We were very happy with the customer service we received and will recommend our facility to our friends and family. Lower the rate charged per mile. With cost of the rental and optional accident insurance coverage it can get a little pricey. Accident insurance coverage is optional but why would anyone want to take a chance on no coverage, so you have to do that option.Kenneth L.

At least one employee was not wearing a mask (had it pulled down to chin and not covering his mouth or nose) inside the building and was a "close talker." Staff was rude on the phone when calling to ask when we were coming back because they had another customer there to rent the trailer we were using.Nathan R.

My original reservation was at your North Freeway location. I reserved a month ago, confirmed with the location 2 days prior then arrived to pick up and was informed that no trailer was available. What a joke. Through persuasion had manager call El Camino location to find a trailer was told I had to return it Sunday while my reservation was through Monday. NOT HAPPY!. Considering dumbing U Haul. Even tough I've been a 6-10 times a year regular client for 5 plus years.David V.

The staff doesn't even acknowledge me when I came in, poor greeting i was first the last customer was helped first with his propane that looked bad on the older man that was working there! The girl with purple had a attitude problem she was not friendly at all! I felt like I was not welcomed there. The truck was dirty! With 3/4 of gas! The truck I rented had an engine light on due to the gas cap needing to be replaced. I am guessing due to the pandemic and trying to keep costs low, the gas cap was not a high priority, although it did make me nervous while driving it. The inside of the windshield was dirty and had a lot of glare when the sun hit it although the staff was good and helpful. No problems with my reservations as the truck was available for me when I arrived.John H.
