VERNITA JMy truck had a starter problem and I almost got stranded in Bakersfield driving from Sacramento to LA. When I called this location for help, I was given attitude and when I asked for her name just for documentation purposes, she hung up on me. Awful customer service. I called back and she didn’t answer. Moving is already stressful but add terrible customer service and a broken truck makes for a miserable experience

Staff is very professional, courteous and accommodating to my schedule, and my clients’ schedules. Easy freeway access. Location is always kept clean. Great!

VIRGINIA MYou are pretty great already. Economical, the equipment is always in good repair, there are enough people to serve customers quickly, the location is centrally located. I would say the U Haul is a quintessential American business. I would not even dream of trying any other vehicle service devoted to "do it yourself" moving.

DOUGLAS JU-HAUL - 3979 North Freeway Blvd, Sacramento, CA I rented a Motorcycle Trailer from this location. I miraculously got this trailer home without incident and not realizing that the Tongue Latch was defective. The next morning as I was loading my Motorcycle on to the trailer by the time the front wheel got on to the rear of the trailer the trailer tongue was higher than the bed of my truck. It had come off of the 2" Ball hitch. I tried to tighten the latch but it was broken. On my return to U-Haul with the defective trailer, I had only one occurrence where the trailer broke loose from the hitch. Fortunately I was able to return the trailer without any damage to my vehicle or the trailer. I was not able to keep my appointment due to this incident and was also disappointed that this U-Haul location does Not keep their equipment maintained. It could have been a whole lot worse. My rental with the 1650 El Camino Avenue location was without incident.

ALEJANDRO MI was 30 minutes over the required hour due to medical emergency and was charged for an additional day. There should be a two hour grace time the truck was there I was just detained for medical emergency and was not there to sign truck in.
