I called and made reservation for a box truck. And a car hauler trailer. For the 24th Saturday of octhe. Pick up was to be between 9:30 AM. And 4 PM on that Saturday. I get there at 10:10 AM after driving.All right from oklahoma to alabama and my truck and trailer had been canceled not by me period I ran around all day using gas. I didn't have to try to find another box truck and trailer. All they had was local trailers. And trucks. So they said period 230 they call me back and say they located me a truck and another car hauler trailer, but I would have to pick them up in 2 different locations. I get there to pick up my trailer and truck and they have the doors locked. And nobody answering the doors. We waited an hour, but needless to say, neither the truck nor the cargo hall and trailer were there period period so therefore I had to stay even longer in Towe were supposed to have left on Sunday. I had to be back at work on Tuesday. We did not even get to leave town until Tuesday. When we finally located a cargo trailer by walking in to a U-Haul\n On Monday morning so therefore, I miss 3 more days of work, trying to move my stuff because you all dropped the ball period I'm very unhappy about it.\n Especially when I went to the trouble to make the plans ahead of time. I do not feel as though I should be charged. The extra time for keeping the trailer\n 2 days longer. Because the screw up from yall's end is what put me behind in the first place. I would like the refund of the extra $45. Thank you

Truck was full of roaches and disgusting. Had to throw away most of my personal items after they were delivered in truck.

Only one staff available during pickup and drop off on a busy Saturday. The pick up staff was really hustling and did a great job of taking care of the many customers.

A really great team to work with. 100% helpful and professional. They even carried out my boxes and packing supplies. They also helped me with the UHaul website issues. Great location and close to Redstone Arsenal. I will be using this store again in the future. Thanks for a great service to the community.

The original location I was given is close on weekends and considering the area I was uncomfortable leaving the key in the drop off box. I prefer to hand the key to a person

Customer service above and beyond. Marcus checked us back in and the young man (do not remember his name) was very quick and efficient. Their were several people waiting. We were in, hooked up and on our way in less than 15 min. Thank you

I use this location for trailer rentals four or five times a year. Dependable, helpful and friendly staff always greets me with a smile and gets me in and out in minutes. Never have an issue with the equipment and they have supplies when I need them. The website works well making rental, check-in and returns a breeze for me and them.

Billy Bell... knowledgeable and professional. He was who was helping me initially. Then..Store representative think his name is "Ronnie - working when I returned the truck. Unwilling to listen because I questioned the final payment on bill. Very rude .."I am supposed to be off....I'm getting ready to leave and close the store. Continued to talk very loud and aggressive. I asked to see mgr... He's not here . you can call him.. I called the store to talk with mgr.the same store representative continued to ask me my name I told him my name is not important I need to speak with the manager. He hung up on me. This lack of professionalism by this one individual is one that can directly impact a company bottom line. My daughter later call the store and spoke with a well spoken employee (Will) regarding the event that took place with my mother. I explained to him what took place. She also told him that he could share their conversation with the employee named Ronnie. Will provided her with Billy Bell's information. My mother would like to talk with someone about this horrible experience. Improve customer service by providing this employee with intensive customer service training. Continue to work with employee to become a respectful and customer focus employee. Please contact me

It took almost 2 hours pickup the truck. No remdy was offered. The truck was dirty inside and out. I paid for two dozen blankets and was only given a dozen, with no refund for the ones I didn’t get. No winshield wipers for the truck either…Staff was nice, but didn’t make for all of the problems.

I rented an appliance dolly. In the right side, the below was completely off of the roller and just hanging on there. Also, the right wheel fell off of the dolly as I was using it. There was no cotter pin securing the wheel to the dolly. I had to fix it before I could continue to use it.

We love this particular location for renting Uhaul's. The staff is always friendly, and the prices are reasonable. We originally looked online, and it said they did not have any available. Make sure you call to confirm, ends up they had plenty. This is the only Uhaul place in town I will use. Billy and Marcus really took care of us. They have easy and convenient drop off after hours if you finish up with the truck before the original drop off time. It was nice getting to sleep in a little after unloading quite a few times, and not having to worry about returning the truck at 8 the next morning. Highly recommend.

We reserved a truck online for one way. Your website allowed us to complete reservation online and gave us a destination to pick up the truck with a confirmation number. When we got to the location to pick up the truck they informed that they did not have any one way trucks. This apparently has happened to several people. This is very poor customer service. Your website should not allow you to complete your reservation if this is not going to be available. We had to have the truck so because we had no time to go anywhere else. We had to drive the truck to our destination and bring it back which cost us about $100 more in mileage. You should fix your website before you loose customers. Word of mouth spreads faster than anything. If I knew what I knew now I would always look for another option. Not a good way to conduct business. The gentleman at the pick up location we very nice and respectful, but their hands were tied as your system failed.

The truck was infested with roaches... The workers were not cooperating they wouldn't contact the general manager we bought the 15 dollar insurance they charged us for the 45 dollar insurance... It was all around a terrible experience.

Understand and inspect the reservations for the day and ensure you have all appropriate rental equipment for the reserved customers. I reserved a truck and trailer; they had the truck, but accidentally gave me the wrong trailer. I had to travel across town to pick up the appropriate trailer. Other than that, the equipment worked great, and the people were friendly.

I did a reservation online and the morning of my afternoon pickup someone switched the name on my account. I got a receipt and confirmation under my reservation for someone else. I asked the store to change it back to my name and they said to call the 800 number. This puts the mistake and issue back on the customer which is a bad business practice. I will not rent from this location again and now looking for other move operations or company in the future. Someone needs to fix this issue.

Overall U-Haul rental experience was very good...only had 2 issues: I had to wait at the counter for someone to appear from the back to check me in. Second, the dolly that was provided was broken - still functional, but metal piece in the middle was broken and loose. The van that I rented was excellent!!

This location keeps the in-town trucks with a full gas tank and has folks on site to help during business hours. Easy location to use for U-Haul. Great staff.

I selected the Governors location in Huntsville primarily due to their excellent reviews. I am not sure what happened with that level of care and customer service last Thursday. A young man with an interesting orientation about him assisted me that day. Outside of speaking in a tone that was unbelievably difficult to even understand what he was saying, the customer service approach was not in keeping with the spirit of other U-Haul experiences I have had. After we completed the inside portion, he asked me to meet him outside at the trailors and which time he began to hook the trailer up to my truck and was about to send me on my way,, when I asked if he was done - reply "yes", I said, how about those safety chains. An audible sound of disbelief echoed over Huntsville as he realized a big does of humility was in the process of being tabled. Ohhhh, claimed the young man! He hooked the safety chains up and I went on my way. Thank goodness U-Haul I was an experienced driver and lived with several trips around the sun to my credit. If this had been a more junior driver,, things could have gone really bad. U-Haul, you can do better than this. Everyone deserves a job - a chance to succeed, but we individually get to choose every day, what type of citizen we are going to be, how we are going to treat people, today!

I just didn’t like the run around and when I checked in the equipment they were not friendly at all.

I reserved a trailer for one way and this location gave me the wrong trailer. After loading the entire trailer up and ready to go I was informed I would have to come switch trailers if I wanted to do one way. Otherwise the trailer would have to be returned to the original site. The regional office was extremely rude in trying to handle this situation as we were first told it couldn't leave the State. We opted for returning the equipment instead of going through the hassle of removing a packed trailer and reloading it.
