We got the truck from Colfax and I-225 from there to my home is 2miles well when I get home the truck mark 6 miles!!! That's no honest part. Ok from my home to the place where I move isn't less then 2 miles but any way I have to pay around 15 miles. I take my gps every time to feel sure how much I going to pay but I believe this companies are sucks and make the money because the people need to rent truck good business 😒

I rent from you a few times a year for some local hauling. 1) On line reservation did not work due to light amount of weight needed to haul on a car trailer - hauled an axle that is same width as a car. Could not get an accurate ok to haul my load based on the towing vehicle. Always assumes you are hauling a car 2) Waited 20 minutes on hold to speak with agent - no answer 3) At location 6 people in lobby - only 1 staff. I called reservation line again while in lobby - waited on hold another 15 minutes to see if my reservation was in. No answer by agent. 4) Staff helpful, as quick as they could - got my reservation. Then for the first time had to give them a phone number of someone else to rent ?? You have me in your system. Pretty poor rent experience with your systems. Terry Thon

They over charged for miles not used. And put two holds and cleared my bank account of all of my funds. Very upset with this location will not use uhaul again because of this last experience. Very poor service.

You need to offer seat belt extenders for larger drivers. I have been fat a long time and have never needed a seat belt extender before but the GM van's belt was not long enough. I won't drive without a seat belt so I had to buy one before I could drive the van.

Their system is pretty easy and works well. Being able to drop off at my destination was great. If I had any complaint it is that I got an excessive number of texts, but that is better than no communication. Overall a good experience, I would definitely go that route again.

I do have a complaint though, when I went back to pick up the trailer hitch in the evening, the kid who was working the evening shift was a total bitch. He was really rude - i asked if he could “show me” and I'll do the work, or instruct me on what I need to do to get the car on the trailer. And he even through a fit about doing that. I tried to explain to him I have never done this before. He got smart and said “read the instructions” 1) where the fuck was the instruction 2) when we dropped it off according the the way nicer gentleman in Phoenix, allegedly a you tube video was suppose to be sent to my phone. I didn't get that video.

Oktobre is an amazing employee. She helped with everything and got me in and out very quickly. Highly recommend this facility. The experience felt like a local shop rather than your regular run of the mill chain business.

I think the rep ( October ) could use some help. She did an excellent job, considering she was totaling overrun. I think overall that location is too small for all the equipment that was there.

The online check-in was not easy or efficient. It took us nearly 40 minutes to do, while the person at the store was there but was unwilling to help since (she wasn't officially open). the van we were reserved to use was blocked by another so even after jumping through all the online hoops we still had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the store to "open" so the employee would move it and we could get out. All in all it took us an hour to get it and get going

the agent that helped me with the initial rental was really awesome and courteous. When I returned the vehicle, the agent was a bit disrespectful in the way he asked me to wait outside. He was dismissive. Other than that, all was well.

I rented at this location two weekends in a row. The first weekend I was there a customer came in and ask to use the bathroom and the customer was allowed to. On my second rental when I arrived there, I had to go so badly. I told the last I had a reservation but I had to go to the restroom badly if she would allow me to please use the restroom. She adamantly refused to allow me use the restroom. I was like really, just last week I was here when a customer was given the key to the restroom, how come I can't. Her reply was, “I will quickly finish up so you can be on your way”. Will not allow me to use the restroom. No courtesy to a fellow human being. Not a way to treat your customers especially when I saw a customer allowed to use the restroom the previous week I was there.

I had to go back inside after waiting for 15 for someone to come out and hookup the trailer. On return, sign said to wait with vehicle if during business hours. After 10+ mins, had to go inside and tell them I wanted to return trailer

This location and staff was great! My complaint is with other members of Uhaul. Was informed when returning the trailer that Uhaul does not offer military discount or any other discount for that matter. So I was Blatantly lied to by the representative whom booked me and the “authorized retailer” I picked the trailer up from. Because of this, will not be using Uhaul again and would not recommend Uhaul to any friends.

I ordered a auto transport and 2 of them were in. On working ordered. I was then asked to buy additional equipment to somehow accommodate the trailer. Even though it was not needed. I was charged three times with no intents of refunding. I will not use this place again or possibly Uhaul if they choose not to fix this.

I was originally scheduled to pick up the truck at the Colfax and Uinta location. It was frustrating to learn after waiting in line for about 20 minutes that they did not have my truck and directed me to the second location which was further away and meant another wait in line. An email ahead of time alerting me to the change of pick up location would have saved me time and frustration. Or, the truck could have been moved by U-haul to the location I requested. Either option would have improved my experience with U-haul. Another and much, much bigger frustration: trying to contact U-haul to report that the movers (N and C Movers, based in the Denver metro area) arranged by U-haul had canceled on the day of my move!!! Although I spoke with the owner of that company, his “that's just the way it is” attitude left me high and dry, saying he didn't care if I gave him a bad review, he was just not going to keep his commitment to move me. I was on hold for over 15 minutes with U-haul, while simultaneously waiting for someone to answer my “live chat” request from my tablet. The live chat person responded first so I hung up the phone. The live chat person was unable to address my issue with the moving company and transferred me to “moving help live chat” for which I waited another 15 minutes without any reply. I couldn't keep holding - I'd already wasted 30 minutes without a resolution. I needed to find another mover. My move date could not be delayed because I had a fixed timeline to get to my Fort Worth, Texas destination. I wrote a message to the “live chat moving help” describing what had happened. I have yet to hear back. And, the charges for the moving company have not been refunded. I found a moving company on my own, but because it was a same day move, I had to pay premium pricing. U-haul needs to be more thorough in vetting moving companies before recommending them. I have tried calling U-haul several times but wait times are just too long! I will complete your online “contact form” and hope to see the charges reversed soon AND to learn that some action is being taken against N and C Movers for their bad faith, moving day flake out!!

The truck bumper seems to have been painted the same day as pick because the next morning when I tried to open the sliding back door, the rubber seal was stuck to the paint and I wasted 1 hour trying to figure out what was wrong given the door wouldn't open. That hour resulted in me getting stuck in heavy traffic and adding 2 hours to my drive from Denver to Dallas. I didn't arrive to my destination until 2:00.

The process on both ends was easy. The vehicle was clean and both drivers were comfortable and happy it delivered them and their belongings safely- with guidance from our alien Roswell friend painted on the exterior. 😉

Make sure the clerk tells the customer every detail of their bill and explain all charges so the customer completely understands. I was surprised by a mileage charge I didn't know I was going to get.

I rented a 10 foot truck that is advertised as $19.95. As I made the reservation by phone I was told that I could pick up at the highlands ranch location. Then she told me that she need a credit card #. then tells me its $108.99? Being in a rush I did it. Then another associate call and tells me that I have to pick it up in Colfax (equipment shortage?) Okay being in a rush again I did it. Then I arrive at the location and the charge is $ 129.00 Pardon me and my french but WTF? Get it together! I will recommend to anyone I know that you completely mislead customers with your advertising.

Dollie wasn't ready, sales person said my new truck was the problem, not hardly, electric circuit on the dollie shorted gave me a 4 wheel dollie that caused me to go slower, and use double the gas I was not happy at all, I talked to the store manager the day before and she said all was ready to go, was not!!!!

Had to make a 70 mile round trip back to location because employee failed to return driver license and credit card. Also original order was for truck and car trailer. Employee failed to note that so had to wait while second order for trailer.

Already state on previously submitted review. All Denver, Co. Uhaul locations do the same thing. Charge for a whole day but want you to bring vehicle back in 4 hrs.

Permit local agents to accept local reservations for truck and trailer vehicles. The 1-800# is busy and clogged and often a customer has to wait 30 minutes or more to make a reservation. That equates to terrible customer service. It sends customers to alternative rental companies.

The employees need to have a clear understanding of the rental policy in order to explain to the customers correctly. If the truck rental is 39.95 a day then the policy and the trucks should state this clearly. It's not fair to charge for each day the customer extends the need for the vehicle unless there policy clearly has been outlined

No restroom for customers to use, was told plumbing issues but unable to confirm, the truck wasnt swept out by previous renter, was forced to wear a mask but it's not a law and If I choose not to wear 1 thats my choice not the companies.
