Nice people, everybody stuff is good

I’ve rented a 10 ft uhaul truck 3-4 times in the past couple years and it has always been a quick super easy process. The employees at Uhaul are always very friendly and professional. They get you in a truck on on your way fast.

Couple app glitches here and there but the staff here really tries to help everyone and get people moving quickly. The driveway when you bring the equipment back was a bit backed up when I brought the equipment back.

Both trailer tires needed replacing. Neither of the tires had tread and one tire had a bulge in the center of it. Location didn't have replacement wheels or trailer I could swap, so I had to wait 3 hours for roadside assistance to help replace tires.

I went to the location at Silverado and Audi in Reno they told me they had no trucks available they made a reservation for me in Sun valley I called Sun valley to let them know I was going to be late because I was moving some things to get ready to pick them up. When I got there the truck was already given to somebody else I really needed that truck since I've had all this stuff sitting out they were trying to look for another one they said now Silverado had a truck I went all the way back over there and they gave me a truck I had mentioned a $50 inconvenience fee and they said no because I didn't get there on time there was nothing they can do for me I had the truck for part of the day I came back to turn it in I thought I could turn it in and put the keys in a lock box, he said no you have to take it and go online I told him I had just had my phone stolen he says I guess you'll have to bring it back tomorrow or pay 20 bucks after all the trouble I went through it really pissed me off I came back the next day made sure the grass was right and turned in the truck I've had U-Haul many times this is the first time I've ever felt like I got jipped

Scammed us, said the fuel gauge was higher than it was and charged us more than we were told. Scam company.

Unfortunately, when I went to return the 10’ truck, I was not able to find a fast station nearby to fill up the gas tank to the original level and was forced to accept the high cost of fuel they charge for not having returned the rental with the required level of gas. I was charged six gallons for 31 miles at approximately $7 a gallon. I walked away and looked and immediately my rational mind told me there was no way I could have average five miles a gallon. After coming to such realization, I retuned to the counter and challenged the fuel charges. The manager looked at the facts in question and gave me a $20 credit towards the charge. Not a good experience as I felt my intelligence was insulted and they didn’t think I could perform sample math or that I had any common sense. The rental truck was not even loaded to half its capacity and there was no way I could have average such low miles per gallon. Take it for what is worth.

Very disappointing experience. I returned the vehicle clean and in good condition, yet I was still charged an outrageous cleaning fee of $1,200. Just because it was on Burn. It feels like no amount of cleaning is considered good enough.

Free coffee. The employees at Oddie and Slverado in Reno are men to be proud of. They were informed and informative. They acted calmly and efficiently to get me on my way. I was impressed that they performed the full hookup and safety check with zero confusion. Every move was explained. I would hire those men, or recommend those men for work any time, anywhere. The moving helpers need to do better. That was the main problem. I now have a broken digital piano. The movers either need to improve or be fired and not be eligible for rehire.

Gave me the wrong dolly. Didn’t put a lock on the U-Haul. Did not have the size U-Haul I was looking for.

Gas tank said 1/4 tank. It was on empty. Barley made it to gas station. U-Haul employee was rude. Truck was parked so close to next truck that it was very difficult to pull out without hitting the other truck. Truck was is bad repair, missing knobs and parts. Bad communication with return and felt like I was a hassle to them. Will never recommend this location. I usually go to the one on Virginia and am treated better. They need to train their employees better and be nice.

The van was nice but the manager here was an absolute dick to me from the moment I walked in the door- chastising me for someone else’s van that came back damaged, a van that I had nothing to do with. He profiled me and assumed I would do the same thing to the van I was renting. The whole experience was pretty upsetting- I’ll be renting elsewhere next time.

I was in town now that far from moving . It said 19 ish in town that was wrong false advertising on trucks . My bill was around 89

I placed my reservation online. The online app charged me for moving supplies and boxes that I never received. When I picked up my U-Haul. Nobody made sure that those items were there so that I could say I didn’t order those the staff there had no idea what I was talking about when I told them that the app had already charged me $154 and I wanted to know what for the Manager could not answer nor could the employee that was helping me. The store was so gross and dirty and disorganized that every single Customer besides myself felt the same thing that day. I had to call U-Haul headquarters to get a refund. I had to spend time of my own to fix the problem because the store could not. I definitely will never use U-Haul again. There’s gotta be other moving companies that are better than this.

There was broken glass on the ramp. The return process was terrible. My app didnt work and the person in the building refused to help me because it wasnt 9 am yet. Customer service hung up on me. It was unpleasant and I will not be using UHaul again.

I've used this location for the last 40yrs ,this time they had to bring up a second vehicle because of failure on first truck, I get it home loaded up with a lot of small boxes needing several trips to do so, I'm about to get in and go to storage when I notice the tread on the front tire , I checked it not even legal to be on the road same for drivers rear also, Im not going to get into an accident when one blows out, so I unload and turn it back in next dayno refund no anything My health and those I love shouldn't be put at risk because they don't want to maintain the equipment, if I was pulled over for any reason I wouldn't have been able to continue driving, I definitely will not go to this location EVER again, and recommend you don't either,

This was the worse experience. While trying to sign paperwork employee was talking on the phone to her mom and it took forever to get the truck. Told me the Uhaul was on E and I’d have to find a gas station and I wasn’t even sure I was gonna make it. The side view mirror on the right bounced around so much I couldn’t even see out of it. Told me when I get fuel only put a little in at first to see if the brake line was cut (like aren’t they supposed to ensure that before I drive? And that the equipment works properly?). I had it for 4h and drove 23 miles and they charged me for $123 so I spent $50 on gas plus the initial $56 cost plus $143 on miles I didn’t even drive. Uhaul is who I always used but this was the worst. Currently have a claim in for all the costs but do. It recommend at all!!

Have friendly representatives when picking up your rental. The truck I received had no gas and even gas light was on. I was told to put $36 dollars of gas in the truck to bring it 1/4 of a tank which it was more then $36 dollar and I was told that all I get refunded. . No knob on the driver side to roll down window just the handle so hard to use. First rental they were going to give me engine light on so they had to down the truck well I had to wait to get another vehicle. Sales rep who helped was not a happy person, I asked about the lock provided and told me the combination when walking away and could not hear it I had to go inside again to ask. Love the location for pick up cause it the only one close to me but needs to treat customers better. And put a smile on their face.

Staff at this location was extremely helpful and friendly. We are new to the city and they made us feel really welcome. I couldn't back the truck up with the trailer on it (the three days i had the trailer i never backed up once successfully) so when we returned the trailer one of the guys hopped in and backed it up for us and completed our check-in. Fast, easy and extremely professional, service with a smile! These guys were great! We also went to the storage in Sparks for U-Haul and they were great there as well! Very professional, very helpful, funny and willing to answer any and all questions we had!
