The customer service is awesome at U-Haul on oddie in Reno Nevada. The employees there are very informative and they definitely answer all questions. I recommend this location to anyone looking for a smooth experience renting a truck or trailer for your next move or adventure!

Lucyanne TLet's see... 1. This rental started with all the hassle of receiving a truck that had had homeless people living in it and was not completely cleaned. The guy who mopped it out and talked with me was nice and helpful and I don't fault him... but it wasn't cleaned well so I had to clean it again. 2. Then the truck was bad (check it's history, one of your managers shared that is has had a lot of problems) and at one point it drove so roughly I pulled over thinking I had a flat tire. 3. Then your truck blew and burned up a wheel bearing. It was smoking when I pulled over (I have video). So we waited three hours for the tow truck. That and having to stay the night in Elko, NV, put us ultimately a full 1 1/2 days behind schedule. Plus we would have to unload a fully loaded 26' truck and reload it into another!!! 4. You gave me the option of doing it ourselves and being credited $600, or having two helpers to reload. I chose the latter, two men to help us. What you DIDN'T say is that they couldn't even be there until 12:30PM and we were ready to do it at 7AM. 5. So I communicated to you that we can't wait that long so just give us the $600 and we'll do it ourselves. And you replied, "By accepting the two helpers option you negated being able to switch." Yeah, well when I agreed to that it meant two helpers when we actually needed them. You changed that, but wouldn't let me change that. That just sucks on your part, and it REALLY sucked for us.

MARY SI do not understand why uhaul still has the audacity to advertise 19.99$ for a truck rental per day when the added fees brings it to 70$. I spent 100$ with gas for my uhaul. I had to check it in and out myself with an app. Taking before and after pictures. Then when I return it the uhaul employee has me wait while he inspects the van?? What’s the point of wasting my time? I won’t be doing this again. Next time I’d rather spend a little more to hire movers. What a huge expense for in town moving

JOHN RThe pick up location was very good. But we received very bad information about drop off. That bad information started with the U-Haul website where we said we wanted to drop our truck off in Truckee. We were able to make the reservation that said we could drop off in Truckee. The person working at the pick up location was very polite very good, but couldn’t give us a drop off location. It turns out that’s because there is not one in Truckee. It was very disappointing to find out we now had to drive our truck very far to drop it off. Had we known this we likely would not have rented one. However, well, we picked it up. The very nice attendant offered us $85 if we brought it back to the original location. We said no because we wanted to drop it off in Truckee. When we were told by the customer service person we couldn’t drop it off in Truckee that was no longer possible. We had to pay the full amount, even though we couldn’t do what we were promised, and we couldn’t do the option we were asked to do at one point. It was very disappointing.
STEPHEN PThis is a scam that this particular location is running. I asked for a full coverage warranty and they did not offer this one. I paid extra for nothing. Please contact me immediately.
KIMBERLY WThe manager was absolutely on his job and his customer service was top notch. I am so bad with names but I think it was Charles. My reservation got messed up and my late nite pick up wasn’t set up for me. Costing me time and money. When I came in 6 hours later then I needed this young man was accommodating and apologetic and even comped me some of my miles. Great customer service after a costly mix up. I will still use uhaul because of how he treated me.
DENELL CAll in all just fine. Not looking for a Rolls Royce rental. Just a truck to transport yard cleanup to the dump. That's what I got and it was fine. Old, but fine. I was late returning, but they did not charge me for another day, or even hourly. I recommend this location.

JACK WCustomer service needs improvement
HAKEEM BI rented a 6x12 trailer here and two of the tires had severe flat spots from being dragged with locked brakes. One tire had clearly been replaced recently, but the others were still worn and should have been caught during inspection before renting the trailer out. I ended up getting a flat tire in the middle of nowhere on a busy highway while towing over 500 miles. Sending customers out with damaged trailer tires is a serious safety oversight.
JACOB CSunday was a little crazy. We had to wait over an hour to get our trailer HOWEVER the staff was awesome, stayed calm and treated everyone as if they were the only person picking up equipment . I would use them again
Mark DGreat central location for north Reno. A misunderstanding led to overcharging but the store manager quickly credited back as soon as he recognized it. Use the app to quickly rent and return equipment. Oddie Blvd UHaul is highly recommended.

CHAROLET FThe staff was friendly, even though this site was extremely busy. I arrived early and waited 25 minutes in line with a 10am appointment. While waiting in line, my reservation was canceled by Uhaul. Luckily, the staff was able to get a new vehicle, but the experience was very frustrating.

THAD WI rented two trucks in successive days. A 26’ on Feb 26 and a 20’ on Feb 27. I returned the first truck at 8 am on 27th. Somehow your records show I returned it at 12:39!! That is totally false!! The man that acknowledged truck return immediately rented me the second truck.

WENDY VDear Sir/ Mam, It was a great experience hiring the vehicle. It was in excellent condition and neat and clean. I have one question, at the time of booking, I provided an estimate of 35 miles and was quoted approximately $60. However, when I returned the vehicle after driving only 33 miles, my final bill totaled $110. I was informed that $55 of this amount was attributed to 35 miles of driving. This charge was not clearly explained to me at the time of booking. Additionally, it is difficult to understand how fuel or mileage costs for just 33 miles could reasonably amount to $55. The final bill was significantly higher than the original estimate, despite the actual mileage being within the quoted range. Have a great day. Anwar
