Sam and his team went above and beyond. They even noticed that I could benefit from a different trailer and made the upgrade on the spot. The trailer with a ramp made the moving experience seamless and would not have been had they not upgraded me. They also helped get a stuck trailer hitch cover off my truck with a can-do attitude and took fantastic care of me.

ROXANNA BThe truck rental experience was wonderful. Check-in was smooth. Truck worked fine. After-hours check-out went fine, except I (and another customer who arrived at the same time) had a hard time finding the key drop. We eventually did. The only reason I wouldn't recommend the location to a friend is that I arrived to my own parked car (in the title loan lot) with a campsite in the parking spot next to it. I was at least marginally okay with that, but I know not everyone has my same tolerance for existing that intimately with people on the street.
JONATHAN MVehicle brakes overheating and sparking flames on front brakes. Had to drive below speed limit the entire trip, which was a nightmare. I was scared the whole truck would catch on fire and I would loose everything. Very challenging to pull into anywhere for refueling with car trailer on rear. Staff at Reno location was excellent and very inviting upon arrival. They helped me immediately and drop of of truck was simple and convenient. I was charged $170.00 extra for mileage because I had to drive from Big bear through California, Tahoe into Reno because of icy weather conditions along the 395 which I had to avoid with the trailer. U haul did NOT FACTOR IN THE road conditions or weather restrictions to the mileage and route. I was charged an absurd amount for a truck that was so unsafe to drive with sparking front brakes. I am Very disappointed in my U-Haul experience this trip.

BILLIE SRented 2 trucks - One online and other in person. Didn't know that to get the discount, the reservation needed to be made online and not in person. 2nd truck ended up being almost $200 more because of that. Would have completed the rental via the phone app if that was known.

RUSSELL JI could not reserve a utility trailer in Reno with a ramp in mid December. Is this a peak moving time? Uhaul inventory and unwilliness to rent some equipment one way sucks
GREGORY BI think this location is short staffed and there are always different employees which means that there is a high turnaround. The staff trys their best and I can't blame them because I see them doing multiple tasks.

OTHMAR VCustomer service was horrible on pick up and drop off when assigned a vehicle was told it had 3/8 of a tank and it had no gas at all I went back inside to inform the employee and he told me to fill it up to a quarter tank and good luck hopefully you don’t run out of gas. I put $50 dollars in to get it to a quarter tank and only went 26 miles I was credited back 40 dollars at the end but in reality for the miles I used it wasn’t a deal at all I am extremely disappointed in U-Haul this is my 2 nd horrible experience at two separate locations. I will only use U-Haul if it’s a last resort option other than that I will take my business elsewhere and never recommend any one of my customers or friends to U-Haul.

WILLIAM SI always run into I believe the manager named Samuel there and man let me tell you I never take time for reviews. This man Sam goes absolutely above and beyond in his customer service and frankly just speaking human to human to people. We all know Uhaul is a job that isn’t a dream come true but this guy takes his daily life with a huge smile and it makes me wanna turn around and just try to smile day to day because if he can so can I. Samuel if you ever see this great work brother your An amazing soul my brother and I’m always happy when your there because I know my issues will be taken care of expeditiously. Thank you again to brother Sam. Dude deserves to be the regional or operations manager of the entire city. Every Uhaul needs to be run like Sam’s

I also was not impressed by the man that helped me because he was wearing a lanyard from a local marijuana dispensary so that explains everything because he seemed very high.

JONI BWe did have an issue with this rental. We specifically needed a truck with a receiver - I called and spoke to Sam, who said the 10' truck we were reserved by corporate in Sparks had a welded on 2" ball so it could not be changed to the 2 5/16" that we needed. He was to have changed our reservation in Sparks to a 15' truck with a receiver. However, upon arriving in Sparks the only 15' truck available was at the Oddie, Reno location. We would have saved time knowing this in advance as we could have skipped a stop at the Sparks location.
JOHN SI did have an issue of a parking lamp not working. There was a wire hanging under the trailer form the rear light. Other than that, the crew was helpful and attentive. The trailer was in good shape besides the light.
BRYAN BThe manager, Charlie, was kind. Made my very difficult two days and morning of pick-up a bit better.
