Kathleen CI came in 2 days before rental to fill out paperwork and reserve trailer. I said I wanted to pick up trailer at 7am when they opened. The manager showed up at 7:20 am and 2 other renters were waiting ahead of me. He didn’t get to me until 7:45 am. I brought the trailer back around 1:15 pm. Not at 7pm when they close. Why lie about returning the trailer? They need more than 1 person at this location. That 1 person spends to much time talking on the phone. I probably won’t use this U-Haul location again.

JOE GConstant calling for things resolved, sometimes calling or texting before 8am for something already confirmed multiple times. With the truck I was put on hold with no warning, waited 10 mins before hanging up then went back to a meeting. Was rapid called 10 times. Call go to voice mail call again instantly 10 times. U-Haul is impossible to contact if something goes wrong or you have questions but if U-Haul wants to talk to you they will destroy your life till you pick up. Get a text you have to call back. At one point I tried to call a U-Haul location, was redirected to 5 locations in 3 states. Told problem was solved, next morning U-Haul shows up with 7 mins notice when it was supposed to be rescheduled later in the day. Unboxed were supposed to ship immediately but sat in Colorado for more than a month. will make it my purpose to ensure no one I’ve ever met uses U-Haul ever again. Most horrific experience with a corporation my entire life at almost every interaction. I will also post many reviews for each location I worked with covering specifics for every interaction. Disappointed would be the understatement of the year for my experiences with U-Haul while moving.

BERNARD GMore personnel to assist waiting customers. Truthful signs advertising rates. More flexibility on the use of vehicles for local and non-local use. The unwillingness to rent what they termed as a local use vehicle costs us an extra $100. We will not use U-Haul again, we'll use Enterprise instead.

KENNETH MThe wait to rent the truck was very long. You need to hire help at the Victoria, Texas location. I waited well over forty minutes while Larry was assisting other customers. This put me behind in my moving process.
FELICIA EEverything was good customer service all that was good location good only complaint I have is that every time I have rented the 15-footer box truck on two different trucks the same problem is going on with the transmission I can go all the way to 3,000 to 4,000 RPM in first second and third gear and it does not shift gears like it's supposed to I have to manually shift it from drive to 3rd and back to drive so that it will shift into the next gear and that's not right there is definitely problem with that type of truck and that specific transmission in each box truck this definitely needs to be fixed and I've even asked when I brought it in has anybody ever complained about the transmission not shifting and each of them say yes this is a problem if I wouldn't know how to downshift the transmission and then upshifted manually the motor could easily be blown because of it not even shifting it revs up so high in one gear without shifting to the next gear that's a serious problem that needs to be fixed! other than that I don't have any complaints.

Joe SI reserved a large cargo trailer 2 months in advance, get a call they do not have it a day before I was to pick it up, I get the smaller one because I need a trailer. Made it work for the job. . This is the second time this location has done this to me. Not using them again.

Linda SFire the store manager he's very rude and unprofessional . Yelled at us in front of other customers. I work in customer service and I know the customer is always right and it is always in your best interest to assist the customer. The best you can that was not the case with him. I've heard stories about him being rude to other people that do go in there please fire him as he is giving the U-Haul company a bad name.
liza cRefunding back the money that customers pay. When it’s needed, customers take pride in booking with U-Haul and then at the end of the trip if and when returned in an early manner, those fees that were unused should be refunded. It’s actually not fair to the customer to go over and beyond to ensure quickly turnaround when U-Haul decide to just not give that back in return. If that’s the case the ordering process should be totally different and changed to notify customers of that before they even purchase.

Michael GThe manager was 30 minutes late opening the store for me to pickup my reservation. He was rude, wouldn't explain the total charges, never handed me the keys but yelled at me he had, and even refused part of the arrangement from the company. He was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional stating he was late because he was at the store because of customers returning equipment late. I tried to use another location but was redirected to use this one. Next time I'll make other plans because this made the move too stressful and was unnecessary!!

LAURENCE JThe manager was working very hard to help all the customers. At 8 am Saturday morning he was the only one working. This is a prime time for people to rent to do their tasks. The line was five customers deep at 8 am. I had to wait 40 minutes to get my online reserved trailer. Nonetheless, the manager is very friendly and energetic the three times I have interacted with him during my move.

It was broken 1/4 split down the side of the table and scratched up from the road. Then I went to U-Haul to speak with the manager and told me it was my fault for not buying a lock for a rental I will only use one time. But keep in mind I was not asked or recommended to buy one or to “secure my load”. Like dude it’s a cargo trailer that’s the whole point. It be nice for a refund it’s not like I’m trying to bend someone over. Y’all’s $41.37 vs my $150-$250 lost come on I bought the safetow insurance not expecting to use it but it’s a scam anyways.

Those guys in Victoria on Sam Houston are so busy from 7am -9pm. I have been over there many times and I might have to wait 20 mins. Not because they are slow, they are busy.
