James AThe people at this location were fantastic! The overall experience with U-Haul was terrible. Even though we reserved a truck and dolly, neither was available at my assigned check-in. By the grace of God someone returned a 26' shortly after my assigned time. Still no dolly. Reservations are taken, then that is it No follow up to ensure availability.
Nicholas RUnit needed a tire and exhaust was loud but they apologized and said they were grounding to take care of it.

Jamar RI have used this location many times over the years, but this time was my worst experience 😞 1) had a 9:00am reservation, but didn't get truck to almost 10:00(staffing 🤬) 2) reserved a appliance dolly, but NO dollys were available, NONE 🤬 Hopefully this won't happen again.

ROBERT DThe truck was old and kinda dirty inside. It drove roughly. There was only one person working the office on the day of pick up. He said the other employee called out sick and the manager decided not to come in. We waited nearly 30 minutes to get the truck although I had a reservation.

KELLY BOrdered a utility dolly and 2 furniture dollies, was only able to get 1 furniture dolly. Was told that the other 2 would be removed from my contract and off the receipt but they never were
Jeremy LWhen I filled out my application online, I indicated that I didn’t want accident insurance, and at the counter I told the agent that I didn’t want it, but they charged it to my card anyway. I also had to buy insect repellent and spray the truck bed before loading my belongings because there were cockroaches in it.

The entire process was very straight forward and I love the use of technology to be able to add another driver without them being physically present as well as to keep charged and records transparent. But even company procedures are terrible have to do everything online why even.have a person there at all. Have to scan my own id and check everything online. This is terrible company hidden fees.every where

James ALeft tire had what appears to be a broken or twisted steel belt in the tread. Had a very noticeable vibration and bounce at all speeds. Luckily I only used it for storage at my house a few miles away as anything longer would have been a miserable towing experience and possible blowout. I notified the attendant of the tire issue at dropoff. Hopefully it is remedied before next rental of the unit.
James WThe location was a little out of the way for us… since where we wanted to go couldn’t accommodate any more U-Hauls!! But, that being said.. the process at dropping off was painless and personnel was very friendly and efficient!
Susan HMy hitch is not installed properly or the wheelchair ramp. I noticed it while I’m out of town praying it doesn’t fall off . Or even worse someone hits me from behind I have my small grands in the vehicle.

Rafael BI am very concerned. I arrived at drop off and guy just took my trailer and said you are good to go. I should have taken his picture. I asked for a receipt and he said it would be in email. I need some sort of hard documentation when I drop off that I indeed did drop off and that they accepted the condition I dropped it off in besides e-mail backup. Please note: Other U-haul location is closer to my house but nowhere does it say that equipment cannot be dropped off there. U-Haul needs to make better notes that stand out.
Greg LAttempted to save time by using the Uhaul app. It is not user friendly, made me redo pictures multiple times, and would not get the odometer reading correct. Finally had to go inside and get help, where the lady at the counter was VERY nice and helpful. She said the app was glitching because the information was correct. So that was very frustrating. Also, the truck we were assigned had low tire pressure in two tires, the dash panel was cracked, and the knobs were completely broken off the AC-temperature control and fan speed, so it was unusable. Not a lot of fun in Florida to not be able to control the AC. Additionally, the tank had about an 1/8 of a tank of gas! Overall very disappointed in the condition of the truck, and in the app. But the lady working behind the counter was extremely nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. And the man working outside came over promptly to fill the tires with air. So thankfully the staff made up some of the frustrations of having an unsatisfactory truck.
HORREX KDear U-Haul Customer Service, I am writing to formally report multiple issues I have experienced with your company, including a billing error, failure to provide promised services, and unprofessional customer service. During my most recent rental, I clearly informed the representative that I intended to use a VIP promotion before and after checkout. Unfortunately, this was not applied to my account. As a result, I was incorrectly charged, which caused my bank account to overdraft by $22. This situation was avoidable and has caused me unnecessary financial strain. Additionally, I was promised same-day moving services through U-Haul. However, those services were not fulfilled. Because I was relying on that arrangement, I parked the rental truck in a safe, monitored location with cameras to prevent damage or theft, as I did not have secure parking at my rental unit. I was not expecting to handle the move myself. Due to the lack of coordination and failure to provide the promised moving services, I was forced to adjust my plans unexpectedly. In the process, I accidentally left the U-Haul key behind when relocating my personal vehicle. When the movers were ready, I was unable to return home (approximately 25 minutes away) to retrieve the key. As a result, I had no choice but to rent a second truck, which could have been completely avoided if the moving services had been properly arranged and communicated from the start. Furthermore, during a prior rental at your Southside Blvd location in Jacksonville, Florida, I was repeatedly contacted and pressured to return the truck as early as 10:00 AM, despite my rental agreement clearly stating that it was not due back until 5:00 PM. I received multiple calls requesting the keys, which felt excessive and inappropriate. I was later contacted around 2:10 PM and told I would be charged for an additional day she didn’t even leave the complete number I can forward the message via email if you like! I was also promised a follow-up call from a manager, which I never received. These repeated issues raise serious concerns about billing accuracy, internal coordination, and customer service practices. I am requesting: • A full review and correction of the charges on my account • Reimbursement for the $22 overdraft fee caused by your billing error • Compensation or reimbursement related to the unnecessary second truck rental • A formal explanation of why the promised same-day moving services were not fulfilled I would appreciate a prompt response outlining how this matter will be resolved.
