Good return 24 hours. I returned the truck after 5pm
Daniel OI first went to the location on Merrill road only to find a virtual station instead of a person on duty. Giving me and accurate information and somebody would be on duty. Second I went to the Atlantic boulevard locations. Third I had to go to the third location at Southside. They were excellent but it is extra mileage from time to try and rent the vehicle this is ridiculous yes I have to drive and I consider it very good professional deploying your business is open when it's not or staffed by no one but a computer. You have no respect for your customers time only your profit.

KEVIN WAll went well. The truck was pretty well worn out, but it did get the job done. The trailer pulled a little to the right, but again got the job done. All in all a satisfactory experience.
DAVID LOn the website the company asks which insurance policy you would like to use with a price and all that, however at the desk i was never asked about it and I feel they selected the policy for me costing me more than I needed to spend. second upon returning the staff member at the desk was busy on a phone call with a potential client, which isn't an issue except I feel like it was a bit too long, long enough for three other people to walk in the door, and I take the most issue with this because it turns out I needed only to hand them the key leave, if that's the case you might as well have a drop box so as a customer I can get on my way.
JEREMY VOur movers were excellent! They moved everything swiftly and smartly. Especially when the giant bed frame did not fit in the apartment elevator. They managed to lift the bed frame up the stairwell from the first to the second floor. They were excellent for Job number: JB-627C9202/Order Number: 7FB9CE93 However, the rental truck was extremely outdated. It did the job well however the turn radius was very limiting. Luckily the apartment complex has a large parking lot. Also the door seal came off when one of our friends tried to get into the passenger side of the vehicle. All in all it was a durable vehicle that got the job done. However very dated and limiting regarding the turn radius. The location is just too crowded. I do not recommend this location to friends due to the high velocity of traffic as people travel down Southside Blvd. The location is too chaotic. while the business transaction is smooth, it's just quite challenging to maneuver picking up and dropping off the rental truck.

He's supportive of his fellow co-workers and has an answer to their issues. Quite impressive during a very busy time.

JULIO LThe truck that I reserved was given to someone else. They said they tried to reach out to me, but I'm curious what method they used since I didn't receive any emails, text, or phone calls and I was literally sitting in the parking lot. But no, supposedly the other guy had rented the same truck, and the friend who was helping me hadn't show up yet, so the truck went to the other guy instead of me. When I asked if they had overbooked, they said that they hadn't, but the truck that was assigned as a back-up was an 'Out of State' truck that needed to go somewhere else. They refused to explain why I couldn't use it for a couple hours first and then ship it back out of state. Instead, they changed my reservation to an enormous 26' truck that wouldn't even fit in our driveway. I reserved a smaller truck for a reason and they act like they did me a favor by 'upgrading' to a truck we could barely use at all. When I returned the truck less than 4 hours later, one of the assistants tried to drive off with it before I could even finish the return process verifying the mileage and fuel. This was an unnecessarily bad experience, beginning and ending with this specific location.

WENDY SAC was broke in the truck, also had baby roaches running around. I was moved to this location because the original location dis not have my reservation and then when I moved to this location I did not get my truck until an hour and half after the scheduled time.

noemi mThe process was much improved since the last time I needed a to rent U-HAUL vehicle for a move 5 year ago. Good website, good pre-rental information input, fast, friendly service at the rental counter, clean vehicle in good condition, ready to go, and easy drop off.
ROBERT MRented this trailer on a Sunday. My reservation time was 10am. I arrived to facility at 9:45. I didn’t get the trailer until 11:15. I was still required to return at 4pm even though I paid for 6 hours. The employees did their best to help but were understaffed while U-Haul overbooked the rentals.
Patrick MHaving a staff that can handle reservations in timely manner, I was there at 845am for a9am reservation and was not seen until after 1015am. the 2 staff working the registers were doing their best, but equipment and trucks were not yet checked back in from drop off and the lot was chaotic, there were numerous double bookings and just a disaster, however I recommend it because the other locations in town are even worse. Uhaul, you need to do better and improve your system. Just plain rediculous.
BRIAN MThe truck rental itself was fine but the pick up process was a mess. We waited in line for over an hour to pick up our truck even though we had checked in online. The customer service was good- I didn’t catch her name but she was helpful and trying her best to move quickly but the trucks weren’t checked back in so as someone picked up a rental it had to be checked in before they could check it back out.

KATRINA CEquipment not available even though reserved. LONG wait times to pick up equipment/vehicles. Two different lines would be beneficial, one line for reservations and one line for walk in.
ROBERT WWe made a reservation for a truck AND a dolly this past Saturday to move our daughter into a new apartment. When we arrived at our 10am scheduled reservation, we were informed there were no more hand trucks available. I was told even though I had reserved one, it was first come, first served. What’s the point of making a reservation if it’s not actually reserved? We needed a dolly for our move. This was a major issue for our move and a very poor reflection of your business protocol. The truck was in good condition but the awful inconvenience of not having a dolly will ensure we never use this location again.

DAVID HI declined SafeTow coverage both when I reserved online and at the location, but was still charged for it. I called in, and the call center staff were not able to remove it. They stated I had not responded to a text to decline coverage but would start a claim. They gave me the number for a Manager that was in the next day, but when I called the next day there was no Manager on duty. When I dropped it off the Manager on duty started a claim but was not able to remove the charges or issue a refund immediately. I told her when the charges arrived on my card I would decline until the erroneously charged SafeTow charges were refunded. This on the face of it appears to be either an incompetent staff coupled with lack of authority for call center problems to rectify a problem quickly or a scam to sell insurance.

EDWIN CWhen I went to pick up the trailer, they did not have it, and I had seen somewhere in the reservation process that it was guaranteed they would have it or I would be credited. I had to get the smaller trailer to avoid having to drive to another location.

MICHAEL DCustomer service was superb! Initial inquiry to dat before phone call. Checkout was great. I did it all myself, with loading and unloading crews. Saved enough money doing it myself to purchase a new washer and dryer! U-Haul equipment was good!
CHARLES BLong wait to pick up. Was charged for extra day even though my truck was returned on time. I was told to just leave the keys with attendant because there was a truck in front of ours then my truck was “returned” nearly 30 minutes after I left it. Online customer service was no help.
BRITTNEY BPickup was a LONG wait time due to only one register with a line. Drop off was excellent though, very easy.
Isaiah SWe were called up to the counter and the associate decided to finish her text in stead of waiting on us AFTER we had been in line for over 20 minutes. The van we rented smelled like body odor and pig manure. It was completely disgusting.
BARRY HI used my debit card for the $100 deposit. I turned the truck back to it's location on time. I had to go to the location to ask for the receipt and have my reimbursement of $48 to be taken off of hold after waiting one hour and twenty minutes for someone to answer the phone. I never understood why my reimbursement was placed on hold. I'm still waiting 12 days later for my money.
SARAH FThere was only one lady at the front helping customers. The line was getting long and she was taking phone calls as well. My wait in line was 10-15 minutes over my truck pick up time which I was not too happy about but was considerate because she was working alone. I highly suggest to hire more people to help, especially on the weekends.

JAY TWe took the time to pay and sign up online for faster pick up. It took 45 minutes to get the truck, which we almost lost because it wasn't checked in and they almost gave it to someone else. Also the price is misleading....how does 30 bucks turn into 130? I'm paying $1 per mile driven and having to fill up the truck with gas? Seems like highway robbery. Would definitely not recommend uhaul down here in FL to anyone.
WILLIAM SMade a reservation on Monday for Saturday for a truck and auto transport, arrived at the location waited in a long line, this location on had one person at the counter working 3 computers. When it was my turn there was no truck for me to rent and I was told no trailer despite one in the lot that apparently was not checked in, I was told I would have to drive further out to rent a truck from another location, drive back to this location and rent the trailer and when I was done I would have to do the same and return at 2 different locations, they were unable to compensate me for their mistakes and I am the one who had to pay more in mileage and gas this was very inconvenient to me and I lost one of the people who were helping me move that day, I’m a disabled veteran recovering from back surgery and this was the only day I had help.
Jose Dthe truck was clean but there were other people's bed frames on the top shelf in the box. I left them there as they were because they weren't mine. But overall everything is cool. Thanks
