They substituted a truck instead of the van we usually get almost every weekend in summer+ I am a florist. The van did not get returned in time for us to use it to deliver a wedding..and because the truck did not have ac in back a bunch of our flowers wilted and we had to spend a lot more on gas because the truck was old. Not happy at all. Turned into a very stressful experience. And then had to be on hold to talk to someone for 2 hrs to get any help. Ridiculous!!
Julianne W.I know this is easier said than done, but you need a larger parking lot. At the very lease, a better system for the loading up, and dropping off of trailers, trucks, etc. It's a VERY tight fit for customers and equipment.

lora B.Chris Dun is a asshole pardon my language but he's a fucking faggot. I rent from 7th street a few times a month for over 2 years now liar. He knows I work in the cannabis industry completely legal and we use the U-Haul to move product from a grow to a wholesale facility. I am aware that if the car smells or is dirty there is a fee but that is not the case when it comes to me. i clean the uhaul very well i use orange zep degreaser and i can tell you i clean the trucks better then the employees at uhaul. i have rags that come up dirty and it is not from me everything i put in the trucks is in a tote or a box noting is open with product when using the uhaul i smell like cannabis all the time on my person. when i drop of the truck he stands out side and says that he can smell cannabis which is a lie because i tested it buy renting a truck and not putting any cannabis in it and he still says it smells like cannabis but how is that possible if no product ever was placed in the truck. regardless he as very rude told me to never come back that U-Haul which is impossible they are around the corner from my warehouse and there is never any available from others around me and I will not drive across town to rent a truck that i can rent 2 blocks from our work. also every time another employee checks the car they do not smell it and they do not charge me the fee. when i go to cascade U-Haul when they have the truck they don't even care b/c the smell is not really there. Chris told me i cant smell which is a joke cause its part of my job i know some people get desensitized to smell after working in it but i know what smells like orange cleaner and cannabis. he is very rude and i will be complaining on every app I can about him and I will be making sure everyone i know in the area to avoid that shop or at least to avoid him. I would like an apology from him and some money back for the horrible service he provides if I don't hear from yall in the next week I will to go every app yelp and give this shop a horrible review and make sure that all my friends and co workers do the same. b/c once I had a a dread headed hippy return a truck and he was charged 250 dollar cleaning fee even when the truck was spotless just because he was discriminating against my workers. all the other workers at 7th are very nice except him and you know the saying 1 rotten apple can ruin the the rest.
Michael B.I paid for a dolly and furniture pads which were not provided, and when I tried multiple times to contact uHaul directly for a refund, I STILL have yet to be reached out to. This is infuriating and there needs to be a better system for customers to get connected with or get refunds from the actual employees working at the pick-up/drop-off locations.

NIGEL F.We set up our pick up for Redmond Oregon, got a call less then 24 hours prior that the location moved to Eugene Oregon. I was flying to Oregon from Montana and then had to drive 3 hours to pick up the truck at a different location. This put us way behind schedule and the people didn't seem to care at all. I even asked if they could help us out with rental cost since we had to go out of our way to pick up truck, they wouldn't. Also asked about military discount since it says all over online you offer it. We did not receive military discount either. Won't be using uhaul again.

Korrinne R.More carefully draw attention to the need to accurately verify fuel level. My contract said it was 1/4 but when I pulled out it read 3/16 of a tank. I did not think this was a big deal. I returned it at the same level and got charged $15 for the gas, and $30 penalty. This was my first time renting from uhaul. New customers need to be very aware of this.

Luckily a truck with ramp was available and the staff made swapping rentals really easy and quick. All during a very busy morning with customers coming and going. Denise G.Truck driver bearings were squealing, interior of the cabin smelled like actual feces and BO, steering wheel had about 2 inches of play before contacting either side of the rack and pinion, making the tires (which were unbalanced) do as they pleased over bumps. Everything easy to wipe was wiped anything slightly difficult was full of caked in filth(around steering wheel emblem for example). I pick it up he says the uhaul has a third of a tank it had less than that(no big deal but closer to a quarter than a third) , so I put 40 bucks in at chevron(quality gas) for a little over half a tank drove to Springfield and back it had exactly half a tank when when I returned it. Then I got billed 190 dollars including a 30-40 dollar mileage bill so there's almost a hundred dollars down the drain. As a 23 year old in times such as these I can't afford all these hidden fees. Not sure who's in charge but you must have it made when suckers like me need to uproot their lives.

While I believe the employee that connected the trailer to my vehicle to be competent, the equipment undisputedly failed and now I have to file an insurance claim --none of which seem to matter to the person helping me with my rental; on the way to returning this morning the hitch popped off the ball and the trailer smashed up the back of my vehicle and now I'm having to deal with an insurance claim. I felt like it was poor taste that the local team member took offense to my situation when I suggested that I shouldn't be charged given the circumstances (the rental was only about $100 which should have been absorbed by you as owners of the equipment. Instead there seem to be an insinuation with error was mine even though I never touched the equipment beyond loading and unloading it and after having been stuck on the side of the road this morning and the pouring rain with a smashed up number and rear panel to try to reconcile with an insurance claim. Ive been a customer my whole life and it's really a bummer as someone already struggling to keep my business in the black... more importantly I don't feel like anybody listened when I raised issue with the fact that the equipment, specifically the ball-lock mechanism on the hitch, obviously failed rather, the person helping me seems to imply it was my fault. I need my work vehicle repaired (via the claim I now have to file) and the right thing to do would have been to at least absorb the comparatively low cost of the rental. Not happy.
